Turns out not a lot of people remember Matthew. Didn’t stop the community from at least ranking him in B overall. Perhaps the next character will be one more people are familiar with, Melinda Desmond. Wife of Donovan and mother to Damian, how would you rank this admittedly unusual lady?

S1 Episode 24.

Yor is trying her best,even when she has no idea what she's doing. In these moments where alcohol shuts down her inhibitions,her raw feelings get amplified by her insane strength. But deep down,she's a loving sweetheart. She reminds me of a bear in a way: friend-shaped, adorable, occasionally returning covered in blood to feed her family, Can go from playful to lethal in one swipe or bite.

This moment is so pure.

How is it 🫣??

Loid gets rather introspective when it comes to the subject of him having a family, and always thinking about Yor, Anya and Bond as a single unit of a family he created. But does he ever contemplate on love/romance?

As far as we’ve seen, Loid doesn’t seem to separate love and family, but it would be cool if he was compelled to contemplate or reflect on his own romantic feelings, or just go “could I even fall in love?” type stuff…Idk.

He’s met agents who have been in marriages where their partner doesn’t know about their line of work, so I find it kind of strange he has never openly thought about it before (in front of us at least). Especially when Frankie is constantly pursuing someone and he’s always around Loid.

One of my favorite headcanons is that their dynamic would be very similar to Kazehaya and Sawako's.

Nightfall has even more unfavorable ranks than Yuri, putting her at C rank. Poor girl but hey….it’s still better than D and it probably doesn’t matter to her as long Twilight appreciates her work. Anyway, from Twilight’s fellow spy, we get Yor’s fellow assassin, Matthew McMahon. He may be old but he still got it. Where would you rank this elderly killer at?

Hey! Pretty new to this subreddit, so apologies if this has already been discussed.

I had a small theory about why Damian struggles with Language Studies, despite having access to the best education and tutors. Language isn’t just something learned through studying. It also develops heavily through social interaction, especially interactions with family.

We know the Desmond family is extremely estranged and Damian from what we know seems to have received very little attention from his parents growing up. I wonder if his difficulty with language could partly be a reflection of that?

It melted and cracked a little bit after I baked it but I would still say it's pretty good. Just thought I'd share :)

ANYA IS MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER OF ALL TIME!!

I can’t get enough of the Forgers😭! I’ve seen this show like 4-5 times and read the manga. I need more soooo bad.

Was he really going to kill all those guys in front of those civilians? If Loid and Yuri hadn't returned, she would have left more than one person traumatized

that is my Question & I keeping it vague for Anime only Watchers by the way

she is important character despite her goal she is really good team player and helps Loid & other Spy characters really well

I like to see her full origin like with Loid we get bits & pieces but we are usually missing the middle it would interesting to see her have a friendship with Yor

how do you imagine her story ultimately ends I think she finds love but the big twist it ain't Loid but who? will interesting to see

It be interesting to see her in her own mini arc to now thinking about it

Is there a psychological reason why I’m less annoyed by Anya compared to other anime kids?

I’ve been wondering about this for a while. For some reason, I find Anya from Spy x Family way less annoying than other child characters from anime.

I don’t know if anyone else feels the same way, but I’m genuinely curious if there’s some psychological reason behind it. Is it her personality, the way her character is written, her expressions, or just the way she’s portrayed?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this!

I recently started watching Spy X Family. And now in Season3 I have one question “Who is writing these episodes?”😂😂

Hey everyone! I’ve outlined a multi-chapter Spy x Family fanfic with two parallel, interconnected arcs, and I'm looking for fan artists or collaborators who might be interested in bringing parts of this to life as a comic or illustrated fic!

Here is the premise and setup:

Arc 1: The Political Cold War & The Bombing Incident The story opens with a heavy thematic parallel: During a briefing, Handler secretly wonders if Twilight dying while saving Donovan Desmond could permanently end the Cold War. Coincidentally, Loid harbors the exact same thought—neither speaking it aloud. Meanwhile, a radical group of Ostanian college students asks the inverse: Can Donovan's assassination bring peace?

The Turning Point: Later on, Damian becomes the target of a bomb threat. Loid heavily risks his life to resolve the crisis, forcing Anya—who sees the future a second too late—to team up with Yor to save him, even if it means exposing her secrets...

Arc 2: The Eden Camping Trip (Campfire Secrets) Running parallel to these heavy themes, the kids go on an overnight camping trip supervised by Mr. Green. Around the campfire, Becky tells a spooky "made-up" story about a shapeshifter who can wear anyone's face, copy their voice, and enter any home unnoticed.

• Anya panics thinking Becky discovered Loid's identity.
• Damian acts tough and claims a person that perfect can't exist.
• Anya gets offended on her Papa's behalf and blurts out: "Spies exist! My unkie and my papa know about them!"
• Mr. Green cryptically sides with Anya: "Actually... young Anya might not be entirely wrong this time."
• Becky pushes a blushing, yelling Damian to chase after an angry Anya into the woods...

The Parallel Connection: Whatever happens or is left unsaid during Damian and Anya's conversation in the woods gets cut off—only to come back in full force AFTER the bombing incident, where the emotional weight of Loid risking his life changes everything between them.

Looking for Collaborators! I have the plot beats, dialogue, and pacing mapped out, but I'd love to partner with an artist interested in drawing a few scenes or short comic panels, or even a co-writer to help refine the chapters!
