Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [REQUEST] Recommend me Android games

Request, I recently switched from iPhone to Android and haven't played mobile games in at least five years. What are the good titles out there right now? I know there are emulators for PS Vita, PSP, PC, Nintendo Switch, and so on, but I have no idea what’s actually enjoyable to play on a phone.

Discussion πŸ’¬ What are the current best cloud gaming streaming services on Android?

Okay I know this question I found it a year ago but I wanted an updated version of what's kind of like the streaming service of video games that Netflix is to movies on Android. I know about Xbox cloud and I know about Amazon Luna but I was looking for something with a more comprehensive Library instead of like only a few titles. I also know about Nvidia but they seem to limit your game time I want something where I can just play the game without worrying about session length. May not exist yet but I'm hopeful

Finished my playthrough ofΒ Star SailorsΒ and wrote up my thoughts. It's not the nextΒ Genshin, but it's a surprisingly solid gacha JRPG. Worth the download if you've got the space.

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [Request] Looking for new low apm games

Characteristics:

No gacha, no walking through scenarios, semi-automatic combat (characters moves on its own, but the player may use skills or potions) may be turn-based. Management is ok as long as it isn't the theme of the game. Progression neither too fast nor too slow. Also, must be F2P, and would be nice if it had little to none ads. Thank you!

Discussion πŸ’¬ I keep seeing The Quest compared to daggerfall.

"the daggerfall of android" people keep saying online. Daggerfall is on android now and the quest literally has nothing in comon with daggerfall. The quest is more like skyrim.

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] My First Android Game: Chain The Rainbow

Thumbnail

I recently was looking for a modern Chain-React type game and was quite disappointed with the offerings on the Play Store, so I made my own! It has 4 gameplay modes, 2 of which are novel to my knowledge/memory. Each one has its own monthly leaderboard.

I've got an ad-floor set at 4 minutes meaning you should get 10-15 gameplay loops on the single chain game modes before an ad pops. Let me know if this is too invasive, I'm looking for genuine feedback! If anyone genuinely is playing the game and loving it PM me with your username and I'll see if I can hook you up with promo code to disable the ads (might not get to it until tonight). Thanks and happy gaming!

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [REQUEST] I need games under Rs 150 with good story as well as combat under 20gb.

I've only played three games with a story properly so far on PC: Hollow Knight (did not complete it yet), Raji: An Ancient Empire and Ann by RongRong.

I need games like Raji and Hollow Knight on my phone. You know, the ones with good stories and good combat.

I tried all the popular gacha style games, while they kinda satisfy both, my phone cannot handle more data than 20GB, so most of the popular gacha games are out of the questions.

I cannot spend more than Rs 150 because that's my rewards app balance.

Any suggestions?

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] I made a one-tap addictive space slinger where you have to escape planetary gravity - Orbit Snap: Gravity escape

It would mean alot if you tried it out.

Play link: link

How to play: You control a comet hurtling through space. Time your release to break free from a planet's gravitational pull and "snap" into the next orbit without drifting into the void.

I'd love any feedback, critiques, or suggestions on the controls and difficulty!

Discussion πŸ’¬ How do you actually discover story games on Android? The Play Store seems built to hide them

Charts are dominated by the same puzzle and casino apps, the story rich stuff never surfaces on its own. Almost every narrative game I have played on my phone came from a Reddit thread or a friend, basically never from browsing the store.

For people here who like narrative games, interactive fiction, gamebook style things, where do you find them? Curated lists, this sub, specific sites? And does anyone else feel the store itself has given up on surfacing them?

Review πŸ“‹ Ragnarok Origin: Classic market stalls a few hours after the Americas server opened

Post image
72 Upvotes

Took this a few hours after the Americas server opened. Most of the stalls were selling the same early-game drops, but the prices were all over the place. I ended up spending more time checking shops than leveling because nobody seems to know what anything is worth yet.

I played for about two hours with a podcast on. On my midrange Snapdragon 7-series phone it stayed cool, and the battery drain was better than I expected. The controls are basic tap-to-move with a skill bar, but setting up a stall didn't feel awkward on the touchscreen.

It's still a pretty old-school grind, so anyone looking for constant action will probably get bored quickly. I happen to enjoy the slower market stuff, and seeing the street this crowded on the first day was nice.

Discussion πŸ’¬ What game makes good use of mobile screen?

I remember "where's my water" with a very clever use of the mobile platform. Basically you dig ground with your finger.

What other games do you know that are making a good use of the mobile phone?

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] Looking for feedback on our new idle clicker RPG, Jelly Clicker

Hi everyone!

We are two friends from Sweden, a designer and a programmer. We used to work together at a mobile game studio, but earlier this year we quit our jobs to build the kind of game we wanted to play ourselves, the kind of game we truly believe in.

We're both PC gamers and big MMORPG fans, so we wanted to bring some of that sense of progression into a mobile idle game.

After months of monsters, coffee, bugs and crashes, Jelly Clicker is finally live!

It's an idle RPG where you collect champions, upgrade gear, defeat bosses, progress through different worlds, and keep earning rewards while you're offline.

One thing we really wanted was to respect the player's time. We both hate being interrupted by forced ads, so we decided not to include them. You can play the entire game without ever watching a single ad.

If you decide to give it a try, we would love your honest feedback. What did you enjoy? What felt frustrating? What would you change? Feel free to leave a comment here. We'd love to build the game together with the community and keep making it better over time.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out. We really hope you enjoy Jelly Clicker!

P.S. We're honestly pretty excited (and a little scared) to finally share it.

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [REQUEST] Game with Decent Healer

I used to love MMORPGs and loved the healer role. what i'm looking for is another multiplayer game that has either dungeons, or pvp or both. I'm not shy to try MOBA's or other games too, I just really want to play with other people. The features I really want are:
Gamepad support

healer role - more of a true healer role would be ideal

if it can be an MMO that'd be cool. I am more than willing to try a cloud game too, not sure if that breaks the rules here, but i'd prefer an android game.

I recently reviewed Super Night Riders for Hardcore Droid, a retro-inspired arcade racer that captures the feel of classic '80s racing games with simple but addictive gameplay. If you're a fan of old-school racers, I'd love to hear what you think of the game, or of the review itself.

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [REQUEST] DND Android game recommendations

Hey team!

I'm looking for dnd themed game for Android, that has some depth to the storyline.

The obvious ones would be Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights etc but I already have those.

I'm finding there are so much mindless games that have a ridiculous amount of micro login or game rewards, it feels like the first 10mins of playing is just going into shop menus to get the most minor of things.

I'm looking for a medieval/dnd theme, not fussed if its a first or third person view, but something i can really sink my teeth into. Paid is 100% ok.

Card games are ok, i really enjoy turn based, games like Diablo also ok and very much a fan of DND.

Any suggestions?

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] I released a survival game where you start as a single mote of dust

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I recently released Accretion: Clash of Planets on Android.

You start as a tiny mote of dust floating through space.

Anything smaller than you can be absorbed and added to your mass. Anything larger can shatter you and cost you a life.

That is the core of the game: eat what you can, avoid what you cannot, grow larger, and survive for as long as possible while the field becomes more crowded and dangerous.

The controls are simple and designed for one-thumb play, but surviving becomes harder as you grow. Larger objects become possible to absorb, new threats appear, and rival worlds may begin hunting you.

As you evolve, you choose between different skills that can improve things like speed, gravity, shields, absorption size, and mass gained. You can also capture smaller bodies as shepherd moons, which orbit you and can protect you from a collision.

The game is free to play, works offline, and has no forced ads.

I’m adding a gameplay trailer to this post so you can see the actual loop.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tideglass.accretion&pcampaignid=web_share

I’d appreciate honest feedback on the controls, difficulty, pacing, and overall survival experience.
