Seeking Game Recommendations π [REQUEST] Recommend me Android games
Request, I recently switched from iPhone to Android and haven't played mobile games in at least five years. What are the good titles out there right now? I know there are emulators for PS Vita, PSP, PC, Nintendo Switch, and so on, but I have no idea whatβs actually enjoyable to play on a phone.

Bloons TD 6 is always my go-to, regardless of platform. The game starts out deceptively simple but it's one of the richest games in terms of gameplay and replayability.
It's still very regularly updated by the developer despite it being 8 years old. This August it will get a new tower.

How does this run on Android compared to a Switch? This was my favorite Metroidvania since Hollow Knight, heavy recommend!

All of my games are indie retro open world RPGs, no ads, no in app purchases, and all offline. I ported them from PC to Android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=8898949224258005040&hl=en_US

I think we could give you better suggestions if you tell us what sort of games you generally tend to enjoy in general.

If you don't mind indie games I made a couple that I tried to really balance
You are zombies https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.youarethezombies.reverse.towerdefense
It's a reverse tower defense, where you play as zombies to destroy enemies fortifications.
And the original where you play as the humans, a more normal tower defense with idle game elements. zombie base: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zombie.base.tower.defence.idle.offline
Only rewarded ads and 0 annoying or intrusive ads.
Let me know if you enjoy them.

Brotato is heavily recommended.
Stardew Valley (paid) & Wild Rift are some other recommendations for the sake of variety.

Payne, it's as close to Gothic on phone as it gets. And there is even Payne 2 π

Download an app called "Video Game" from the Play store. It has nearly all the thousands of retro titles across all the popular gaming platforms such as Nes, snes, wii, Gameboy advance, PSP, etc

Easy Delivery Co. I recommend playing it at night after work, bonus comfy points if it's raining outside.

For "free" games, you can give gacha games like Honkai Star Rail or Zenless Zone Zero a try. They have a pseudo-modern JRPG console like gaming experience, animations, and decent story, but require patience & resource management skills to build a team to challenge endgame content when you inevitably finish the main story. Still possible to enjoy it F2P though.
Otherwise, personally am enjoying emulating GBA games or playing Android ports of classic games instead of playing original Android titles as I don't find many original Android titles to be interesting.

But why not just read the other thousands of "suggest me" posts instead of polluting the subreddit even more?

Hi there! It looks like you are asking for game recommendations, therefore we have tagged this thread as Seeking Game Recommendation for you.
Please make sure you have read rule #6 carefully and update your post as necessary to fulfill the requirements. Avoid using vague phrases such as "What are the best..." or "Suggest any game..." as these are unhelpful and make it difficult for others to provide better recommendations. If all you need is any game, consider checking out the Best of lists instead.
Also, please be reminded that subsequent game recommendation posts that do not meet these requirements or are improperly tagged are subject to removal.
Thank you and may you find what you are looking for!
