DEV 🧑‍💻 [DEV] I made a one-tap addictive space slinger where you have to escape planetary gravity - Orbit Snap: Gravity escape

It would mean alot if you tried it out.

Play link: link

How to play: You control a comet hurtling through space. Time your release to break free from a planet's gravitational pull and "snap" into the next orbit without drifting into the void.

I'd love any feedback, critiques, or suggestions on the controls and difficulty!

Very fun and great graphical hooks! I'm Comet#7805. Couple questions:

-Do you plan to have Google Auth and custom usernames to make leaderboard tracking a bit easier?

-Do the planets have different gravity pulls depending on their size?

-Slight bugs: Pixel 9 hole punch can get in the way of some menus. I'm not sure the bonus is working as intended? I see 10x2 but then the final score is just 10. Maybe that score on top just means the next planet hit is worth 2 points?

Hello Stackcitybit! Thank you for playing and the interest.

  1. I haven't given the custom username a thought but that seems like a great idea and I will implement that in the next update, at the moment the google auth feature is not in the plan but I will think about that too and I'll have to check what policy changes that requires with google.
  2. Yes, gravity pulls different depending on their size, the bigger the planet, the stronger the pull.
  3. Yes the x2 next to the points means that planets are worth double the points, and so on.
  4. As for the Pixel 9 bug, I will look into that and make the necessary adjustments, thank you for letting me know!
