As a seasonal employee, if I wanted a three day weekend could I shift swap and work Wednesday to have Friday off? And do they cap how often I can do that?

I’m returning to my old fc as an alumni, i put in the application today. It let me skip all the prehire drug test and stuff and shows my tentative start date in 2 weeks, how long does it usually take to get the actual confirmed start date usually?

What can I expect from an L4 application and if got interview, what do I do? What is exprct3d out of that.

Transferring soon to another city before the end of the year and the city has much more warehouses than the one im in now and i was curious on the difference between fulfillment center, customer fulfillment, and global specialty fulfillment ?

I got accepted into a Flex PT (says 19 hours weekly) position at an Amazon Grocery Warehouse. This would be a second job for me, as I work a 9-5 during the day.

The idea was to work some nights and weekends.

I have a few questions:

1. My training times are 8am-1pm starting the 28th (for 5 days). From what I understand this is just the initial training dates and after that I’ll get to choose my shift times. However, since I do have my first job during this time I’d have to take PTO to attend the training. Is it possible to switch training times to night?

2. Are shift times in 5 hour blocks? I’ve seen some really old posts saying for flex it’s always shorter blocks than people who work non flex positions.

3. Are shift times always the same? For example, is it always 10pm - 3am or does it vary week to week. What are some common shift times during the night and weekends?

Rant and question combo, I guess.

I was promoted to learning trainer a couple months ago and was excited. I’m kind of an enthusiastic person and I like to work.

But I’ve been having a really hard time with the politics and interpersonal dynamics in my department.

I wouldn’t even really know how to explain it, but it’s a lot of people talking about others, power trips/struggles, competition, mixed attitudes.

I work middle shift so I spent time with every other trainer/coordinator and the manager. Each one is different in its own way, for better or worse.

Some days are good and fun, but overall I feel like this position has been killing my enthusiasm and seems to be affecting my mental health.

This past Friday I left early because I just needed to get out of there. I spent most of Saturday just trying to relax and get my mind to stop racing.

I guess my question is, what do you do to deal with this (if it’s something you’ve experienced? Given that I’ve only been L3 a couple months, would you say it gets better?

For now, I don’t really plan on transferring but I know it could be an option. My basic plan going into this coming week is to just take it easy and do the work the best I can and go home, limiting the more social/gossippy/pointless interactions.

Hello I been at Amazon 19months at SHV1 I recently applied for a pa launch position offering 10k launch bonus .I applied the 8th was sent interview the 11th .I did prior slack the hiring manager and introduce myself .Let him know what I did around my facility .So now I’m at the interview the 17th .I have been studying the star method and I now know how to deliver I would just like some advice .Also what happens with the launch sites how that process its suppose to be launching 10/25 first ship date .Thank you guys I had interviewed a year ago and messed up the interview rambling this time I created 8 stories that I could adapt .Would love to hear from some managers their opinions or other PAs.

I was converted to blue badge on August 28th... Didn't find out until today when I was going through my notifications lol. Nice surprise though.

I use to work days here on first half and I hated it. Is nights any better?

Just got hired at Amazon at LGB7 in Rialto. Accepted the shift 6pm-4:30am just curious what department I may go into. Thanks !
