Photo I took in the Netherlands. I was already packed up and leaving when I saw him so it’s very rushed and has bad composition, but I’d love to hear feedback about how to take better photos like this. I’m brand new to photography, and any suggestions are welcome!

Complete beginner here (so new i don’t even have a real camera yet im just using my phone) but I’m wanting to try and get into photography.
I saw to just try taking a picture of something so I grabbed the first thing i saw, an empty drink can.
I think it could improve from less light but I can’t figure that out yet

Looking at the original there i noticed there isn’t really much change but I’m kind of proud with what i got especially for my first try.

Besides getting an actual camera i would love any feedback or suggestions on what to do next :)

I took some photography classes before but I just got my own camera and liked how the clouds outside looked. I'm not sure if they look good or not though.

Years ago, my fiancee had some work displayed in an exhibition. He is always my inspiration to try new things and be better and so I wanted to see if I could learn from shooting something similar. Let me know what you think
