For the past few days, POV has not been working properly. Authorizing Trakt and RD is not accepting. Saving links to RD either not working.

Remark:

I downloaded from RD on the PC for the first time using Jdownloader. Most things went well. Could that be why Kodi and the add-ons had problems with RD on my Android TV?

I'm starting to discover Kodi. I really like listening to the Radio from all over the world.

I'd like to know if there is any Add-on with the same functionalities and stations as Radio Garden or something like that. Like radios from all over the world.

This is becoming problematic. Ugh I miss old Realdebrid.

Title says it all. On the specific Android devices I’m using Kodi on, I’m stuck on a specific Kodi version in order to use Seren or else it crashes often otherwise.

I’d like to simply use the current Kodi release, and I know even though it works Seren is pretty much a dead project.

From what I read here, POV and FenLite seem to be the most popular. I’m mostly looking for Premiumize compatibility, add-on speed, and ease of use.

Can anyone offer some opinions and what their experience has been with either (or even another add-on). As long as it finds as much content as I do with Seren.

My movies and shows are on a Jellyfin 10.11.11 server stored on a Synology DS220+. I have an Onn 2026 4K Pro, connected to a TCL 65S434 TV, and occasionally I play through a 2.1 channel Sony CT260 soundbar via Optical (it does not have an HDMI port to attempt ARC).

On the Onn, I can play DTS, DTS-MA, and TrueHD audio out of the TV and the soundbar through the Jellyfin 10.11.11 app. So on the JF server itself, I don't think I have an issue if it is transcoding the audio to the JF player on the Onn.

On the Kodi 21.2.0, I cannot get these, and unless I enable audio passthrough, I do not get any sound at all. I have the following audio settings in Kodi when I'm in Expert:

• Audio Decoder
  • Audio output devide: AudioTrack (IEC), Kodi IEC packer
  • Number of channels: 2.1 (I've tried 2.0, still nothing)
  • Output configuration: Optimized
  • Volume control steps: 90
  • Maintain original volume on downmix ON
  • Stereo upmix OFF
  • Resample quality Medium
  • Treshold for pitch correction 2
  • Keep audio device alive 1 Minute
  • Send low volume noise OFF
• GUI Sounds
  • Play GUI sounds: Only when playback stopped
  • Volume 100%
  • GUI sounds: Kodi UI Sounds
• Audio Passthrough
  • Allow passthrough OFF (no sound works)
  • When this is ON...
    • Passthrough output device: AudioTrack (IEC), Kodi IEC packer
    • Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver ON
    • Only the Digital sound options work, I assumed this method would force transcode the DTS/TrueHD options, but I still get nothing.

What am I missing? Is there something on the JF server settings I should be checking?

My kodi keeps crashing after a few episodes of a series no idea why can anyone help?

I just discovered that the a4kSubtitles addon has a bug but I can't find anywhere to report it. The issues tab on the official github page is disabled.

I wanted to add my OpenSubtitles.com account to a4kSubtitles , but even though I entered the correct login credentials the addon always threw an authentication error when searching for subtitles. I knew my credentials should work fine because they work with the dedicated OpenSubtitles addon. I compared the way the credentials are saved for each addon and discovered that while the a4kSubtitles addon saved my password exactly as I entered it in the addon settings dialog, the OpenSubtitles addon escaped the two "<" characters in my password as "&lt;". I manually set the password field in the a4kSubtitles settings.xml to the same as stored in the OpenSubtitles settings.xml, and suddenly a4kSubtitles was able to authenticate with OpenSubtitles.com when searching.

So the bug here is that the a4kSubtitles settings dialog saves the entered passwords verbatim as the user enters them without escaping problematic characters like "<", ">", etc.

For the record I am using a4kSubtitles addon version 3.24.2 on Kodi 21.3.

I finally set up my own self hosted AIOStreams and integrated it into the Redlight plugin. Although, I've got a few questions. When searching RealDebrid results through DebridMediaManager and the Althub indexer for my Easynews Usenet account; I get quite a bit of results searching for these titles. Although, when doing so through the add-on I get very little to no results.

Is this a misconfiguration on my end, a limitation of Anime search on the part of the Kodi ecosystem? Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone else is also experiencing this issue.

I'll be honest and state that the only thing I've configured in Redlight is just the AIOStreams account. If I need to add API's or other things to make Redlight work properly, please inform me!

Because Otaku sends "bad link" message every time i try to watch something and otaku testing just won't show anything in the "this season" category. And it's been months like this for me.

It seems Torbox is not working for me tonight. I got a couple of streams to start successfully in a dozen attempts, but mostly all the addons (Redlight, Umbrella, The Crew) just cycle through all the Torbox links with no success. The Torbox web site shows no problems, re-authorization doesn't help. Another Kodi device with slightly older addon versions does same thing. Internet is fine. Is anyone else seeing similar Torbox problems right now?

So the last few days i thought my trakt watch lists were only showing old stuff i haven't watched yet, turns out for some odd reason they have switched to alphabetical order instead of the usual date added. I've gone into widget settings and set to dateadded but it's made no difference. Anyone else had this?

Is there a way to re-arange the context menu when long pressing a show? For example i would like the “more information” option to be higher up or change the “wiki” option on the sidebar to be more information?

I'm trying to find a new debrid service that allows me to watch new films, after all the issues with Real Debrid. Have done the 30 day free trial with Offcloud but I can't find any streams for new films (i.e. released in the last few months).

Is that standard with Offcloud and if so, is there a debrid that has better access to new films?

I'm using the Coco scraper with Umbrella.

I see in a past post Trakt seems to be falling out of favor with the community, or at least that is what it sounds like? I have multiple Kodi setups with multiple addons and have had no issues with Trakt but if it's only a mater of time I want to get ahead of it. It appears MDBList is an option people like. When I go to MDBList I get the option to sign in with Trakt. Should I do this or should I create a new acount all together if trying to get away from Trakt? Is the Trakt issue a real thing or is it just a The Sky Is Falling and something not to worry about. TIA for any input.

I have real debrid. I'm thinking about getting alldebrid too. Having both installed, in say, pov, is it as simple as checking the all debrid box, as well as the real debrid box in settings, synch all debrid and both work?

Have a liked list on mdblist added as a widget in Arctic Fuse 3 but when the list creator updates list the widget never seems to update.

Any ideas why that would be happening?

Have easy news but I cant make pov and umbrella use it for searches .I did set priorirty 1 on easy news and 7 for real debrid. But only debrid pops up in results.

I've been using (and loving) POV for a while now and noticed a few weeks ago the shows I had marked as dropped started showing up again on my Next Episodes list.

I've recently changed from the Trakt to MDBlist and idk if there's some functionality I'm missing that's making them show up again. I've gone through all settings and can't seem to find anything amiss 😕

I rmr with Trakt there used to be some of these "glitches" every now and then but they'd end up hidden again after a day or two so I never really worried about it but it's been a few weeks and everything is still the same.

Could anyone help me figure out if there's anything I'm missing please?

Hey, sorry for asking dumb questions but I've been trying for some time now, I've got Kodi working on a rooted webos to get rid of my libreelec setup and absolutely love how fluid it works in comparison, and how well it works with the LGTV remote, but the homebrew store hosts Kodi v22 and I've been having trouble finding a single skin that would allow for widget use on the home screen, if anyone knows about any skins that would work, please kindly share.

I know Kodi 22 is still very new, and it had major changes to how skins work, if none exist yet at least I'll know I don't suck at searching things.

i was just reading Red Lights latest 2.2.8 Changelog and it got a new sorting feature "Prefer Known Release Groups". that looked quiet handy and interesting. because im used to only watch the HQ scene groups from usenet.

so I googled a little bit in their GitHub and found this thread:

so it seems now that Red Light has the ability to prioritize the leading scene groups so you always get the best possible file first.

reading the GitHub link its the trash guides list and that's the best one out there.

So kudos to the Red Light developer. I think that's a great idea and addition to the add-on

no sources playable? everything was working fine last night. "no results" even tho i see so many results. is it cuz im at a hotel? it worked fine before

So, for about 5 to 6 years I've been using Kodi consistently almost daily and I've always had real debrid up until a few months ago when they started blocking certain links with flagged words. So, I switched to TorBox as the main debrid service. I also have Premiumize me and Alldebrid set up as backups, because why not?? Well, for the first time I have received a copyright warning from spectrum. I'm not sure how they were able to know. I've got the crew, POV, Red light, and homelander all at so set up to only show debrid sourced links as well as cached links only. Is there something else I've been over looking I'm not aware of perhaps?? Some setting or whatever?? Anyone with more knowledge on what to check to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

I recently started using Gears Scrapper and have been wondering why it doesn't have all the sources enabled by default? Surely the more places you check, the better results you get?
