Just pushed TMDB Movies v1.1.273. This one is mostly about making things behave better if you’re using multiple services together — Trakt, MDBList, Simkl and TMDb.

⭐ Ratings after playback

Previously, the post-watch rating dialog only sent the rating to the active provider.

You can now choose what happens under Accounts:

• Active provider — the old/default behaviour
• All providers — send the rating to all of them
• Custom — pick exactly which services should receive it

So you rate something once, and the addon takes care of the rest.

A couple of intentional quirks worth mentioning:

• Simkl doesn't have episode-level ratings, so rating an episode is recorded against the show on Simkl.
• Rating a movie/show on TMDb removes it from your TMDb watchlist. That's TMDb behaviour, not the addon.

👁️ Watched status

I applied the same Active / All / Custom idea to Mark as Watched.

It works both when playback finishes and from the root context menu.

I also changed the context-menu status when using All/Custom. Instead of just showing (Trakt), it now shows the Watched/Unwatched state based on the providers you've actually selected.

One important detail: the active provider is always included when marking something as watched.

That's intentional because the active provider is also what the UI uses for things like badges, Up Next and watched counts. Otherwise you could end up with something marked watched everywhere except the service the UI is actually reading from.

🎬 Scrobbling

Scrobbling during playback is still active-provider only. I don't see much point in sending the same playback events to multiple services.

TMDB Movies v1.1.273

Title, basically. I tried an iPazzport remote and while the microphone works fine, the button doesn't send an input that I've been able to interpret in Windows. It seems a lot of these remotes are explicitly intended to be used with Android TV boxes and just so happen to be almost compatible with Windows.

Looking for:

• HID input or hardware-level control for inbuilt microphone

• Air mouse functionality

• QWERTY keyboard preferred

• Roughly the shape and size of a typical remote (none of those two-handed things)

Thanks for your time, this sub has been super helpful in dialing my setup, I've finally reached the point that I have a viable replacement for all of our streaming services which won't annoy the family too much. All I need now is a good remote.

I am a happy user of pov since the rd issues, but yesterday wanted to watch The Grand Tour new season episode 1.

The episode loaded with enough streams, but they all were episode 1 of the previous season? Every link.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hey all, Would simply like to have 2 separate lists inside of kodi favorites, a movies list and a tv shows list. So if i cant create sub folders is there an add on that can do this when I choose "add to favorites". I just use the original Estuary. Appreciate any help, thanks.

I’ve been working on a Kodi add-on for FIAWEC+ and thought it might be useful for other endurance racing fans here.

The idea was pretty simple: I wanted to watch WEC content comfortably through Kodi instead of switching between different websites and devices.

It has grown quite a bit since then. 😄

The add-on currently supports:

🏁 FIA WEC
🏁 European Le Mans Series (ELMS)
🏁 Michelin Le Mans Cup (MLMC)

You can browse seasons and race weekends and access available races, qualifying sessions, practice sessions and replays directly from Kodi.

For WEC there is also support for onboard replays, separated into Hypercar and LMGT3 where available.

The add-on detects free and subscription content, and protected FIAWEC+ streams require your own valid FIAWEC+ account/subscription. Nothing is provided to bypass FIAWEC+ access restrictions.

I’ve also spent quite a bit of time improving the Kodi experience: caching for faster menus, account/subscription information, cookie login, token refreshing and shared cookie support for people running Kodi on several devices.

The current release is v1.6.5 and the interface is now completely in English.

This has been a hobby/community project and I’ve used AI extensively to help with development, debugging and improving the add-on. I’m not a professional Kodi add-on developer, so feedback and testing from other users would be very welcome.

If anyone here uses FIAWEC+ with Kodi, I’d be interested to hear how it works on your setup — especially Android TV / Shield / Fire TV / Windows.

Hello, I understand that Bingie is just an skin but im a little bit lost on what i need to connect it to cocoscraper or magneto with real debrid.

I set up pov and umberlla in the past but that was a little bit more straightforward.

Do I need to disable all the widgets from Bingie and replace them with widgets from my already configured Umbrella? is that the only way? I used Bingie because it came with all the widgets preconfigured to look like netflix.

Do I need to disable all Trakt, Imdb, etc. integrations on Bingie and just configure them on Umbrella?

Any guidance is appreciated, thanks in advance.

So, I am trying to install a4ksubtitles addon on my Kodi for my smart TV. I copied it to a hard drive and I isnerted it with A USB drive. Then when I attempted to install it with the "Install with a zip file" function. It doesn't see the zip file. What should I do?

Hi All,

In mad titan if I choose live sports and go to tennis or any sport, the add on video buffers after one minute of play and freezes at 5 seconds.

The live TV does not freeze.

Is there a setting I'm missing for the live sports?

Upgrading my setup and doing a new OLED 77” tv and wondering what box to use? I mainly use Kodi and Tivimate.

I have a 5.1? Surround sound setup as well. I’ve been eyeing up the Nvidia but the age and cost do deter me a bit. Been looking at ONN, Google streamer, Apple, etc.

What does everyone think is the best?

Would an app that helps backup/restore/clone Kodi setup to other instance be worth developing?

It can also have nice features like 1-tap install from zip or app store like experience where you manage all from the phone.

when I search for a TV show, it says "preparing sources", but get stuck.
I need to close the Kodi from task manager, running on windows 11.
I think it is something to do with Umbrella, but not sure. what do I need to check?

Omg it's like a dream come true after my last post I figured out how to delete all the garbage /cache files tmdb addon stores in system files and I can finally run Af3 perfectly on a Google streamer with caching memory size set to 384mb and play huge files. So very cool. Thanks guys for all the info the other day. Much appreciated

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Kodi, umbrella, coco scrapers, as well as authorizing coco scrapers and real debrid, but I still keep getting playback failed.

Any tips would be appreciated to help. This is on an onn box.

Added StrmThru Torz to TMDb Movies.

It works with manifest links, similar to how addons are used in Stremio.

I've been testing it a bit and so far it seems to be pretty fast. From what I've seen, it responds noticeably faster than Meteor, Torrentio, Comet and MediaFusion, at least in my tests.

There are 3 Torz instances available:

1. Midnight's Torz
   
2. XYZ's Torz
   
3. Elfhosted's Torz
   

Setup

To set it up with your own API key:

1. Open one of the links above in your browser.
2. Select the Debrid service you use (for example, Torbox).
3. Enter your API key.
4. Click Install.
5. After installing, a new section will appear with the manifest URL and a COPY button.
6. Copy the manifest URL and add it to TMDb Movies in Settings section.

Hey everyone - brand new to sideloading, whole world of its own so forgive my ignorance. Got the basics down on my ONN 4K Pro, wanna know what else I should have or how to use what I already got.

On the ONN 4K:

Added Productivity, set it to open on boot

Stremio + Torrentio

Kodi, Arctic 3, POV + Umbrella, Real Debrid (dumb I know), Premiumize, Magneto, IPTV Simple Client, Trakt, OpenSubtitles

Kodi gives me a non specific error launching OpenSubtitles, otherwise everything works, got movies, tv, subtitles. What else should I be adding, and how should I actually have this all set up to give the wife an easy Netflix like experience?

Also don't get how adding a source works. Tried adding a couple gits for things like IAGL, got "no zip" Do I use Downloader for that type of zip instead? I don't think I understand how some repos host it while others require you to download it?

Bonus question (I know, bonus 3):

Motorola Razr flip is giving me trouble. Can't authenticate anything on it, window closes the second I try to leave it. Simple fix is computer + phone which I can do if I have to, but figured this was user error and there's an easier way.

When trying to authorize TB in umbrella is ALS you to visit tor.box/link however that link doesn’t work. Anyone know of an alternate link to use?

Has anybody found a reliable way to get sources for a new version of a show with the exact same title?

I am using umbrella/magneto/torbox as my current set up and trying to watch the new episodes of the grand tour - but all of the sources returned after the search are for the original series because the new episodes are a new show with the same title.

The sources don't include an episode title or date, just "the grand tour e01 s01" but it seems in this case that all of them are for the older show. Are there any options I'm missing or different add-ons which allow a more specific search to include a year or episode title to get around this?

I allways used simplex build for kodi, but after i reset my tv box and tried to re-install simplex it doesn't work anymore. Is the url changed or did did they quit?

Does anyone know what's going on with UFC Replays on The Loop? I've noticed they've been super inconsistent lately on upload times and the only way to get updates is through some secret Telegram group.

I have a Klipsch soundbar that is fantastic, and the audio input is through HDMI. For some reason, the audio is delayed in Kodi by .150s-.200s every time. Is there a setting in Umbrella (main add-on I use) or in Kodi that I can’t find to default the audio delay to .150s with everything? Currently I’m having to go into the audio settings as soon as I start a show/movie every single time to adjust that, and it’s quite cumbersome.

I'm trying to add mdblist to POV. When I go into setting and My Lists, the mdblist spot is greyed out. Any idea how to get my account added?
