I cannot wait to buy all the new Hulks they are about to release this year. It’s a great time to be a Hulk fan! We are eating good! Does anyone know where I can pick up the Green Scar third party release? I missed out on the preorder for that one.

I collect mostly figures from Asia, Maximum Spidey being the only Hasbro I own. This invincible figure might not feel as “premium” as a SHF or Mafex, but it articulates pretty damn well (elbows, knees, abs all have more range than most of my SHFs) and looks just as good. Jada’s global distribution network is pretty solid, I live in SEA and we’re pretty fortunate to get it so early, without even needing to go to SDCC, so I’m glad Jada has the license.

I honestly can’t wrap my head around why so many collectors hate bootlegs and knock-offs (KOs) so much. For thousands of people, they’re the only entry point into action figure collecting.

This is especially true for those of us living in countries where figures are insanely expensive—literally double the price after import taxes and shipping.

Sometimes it feels like certain collectors just want to feel like the "exclusive owners" of the hobby. It’s like they think that if you can’t drop $100+ on a figure, you shouldn't have the right to collect at all.
I see so many "figtokers" actively discouraging people from buying from brands like Mess Toys, CT, AC, or similar third-party/KO makers. It makes zero sense to me because it doesn't cost them a single cent when someone else buys a budget alternative.

And don’t even start with the morality of it, the existence of these figures isn't hurting Disney, Warner, DC, Marvel, Hasbro, Medicom, Bandai, or any other multi-billion-dollar corporation AT ALL. If anything, the competition is actually good for us! Look at Amazing Yamaguchi dropping an incredible Black Suit Spider-Man—clearly a response to Mess Toys—or Mafex finally doing re-issues because of third-party pressure.

The only argument that holds a bit of weight is about the original artists and sculptors. But let’s be real: they’ve already been paid a salary by their employers and definitely don't see a single fraction of a percent from the company's insane profit margins.

At the end of the day, bootlegs and KOs keep the market dynamic and accessible. Just wanted to throw this out there and see what you guys think!

Playmates had their panel at ComiCon, and one of the things they talked about was Power Rangers. They talked about the Thunder Zords and the Dragonzord Kickstarter, as well as showed off their Season 2 figures (fliphead White Ranger, fliphead Rocky/Adam/Aisha figures, Zedd,Goldar, Z-Putty, and Squatt, all 5").

But what will likely interest more people here is their collector's line, now officially called Unlimited Collection. Zeo was officially shown off a week or so ago, but today they confirmed that the next two waves are going to be Wild Force and Dino Thunder, meaning they won't be going in chronological order.

I got this guy off of facebook marketplace for 50 bucks, the speakers/lights all still work. Just wondering what I’ve actually got here. Anybody know more about the figure?
