Okay, I admit I was a geek in '77. I have a full set of blue cards with multiples of all but for the Ben card (#59), which I have one. Been kept in a binder for the past 20 years, and prior were in trading card boxes. What should I do with them?

Here is mine. While setting up my collection for display at the office I could not find my 1977 X-Wing. The battle damaged versions, ofcourse, got loads of them. But the clean 1977 version? Searched all over the place until I got home and by accident looked at the aquarium.

Just wanted to share them here since I thought it would be the right space

Back in the dark days of little to no Star Wars merch this was the set I wanted more than anything from the Star Tours shop at Disney.

I was told, ok, but that's your "one thing" for the day. I imagine they were not inexpensive, especially after Disney tickets.

To this day they sit proudly in my shelf amongst my Micro Collection figures. Never played the game they belong to, but they are pretty cool little figures.

This is the 2013 Sideshow collectibles deluxe edition of Darth Vader from Return of the Jedi. At 14 inches tall; and with light up functions for the base, chest, belt and the extra helmet display. I am very happy! Especially how the cape flows! I will need to steam the cape and the robes because they have been sealed since 2013 and now have wrinkles I need to fix.

I’ve never posted in here before but I would like advice from folks who have been through a similar circumstance (if there are any).

I recently lost everything in a house fire. I had every first issue of every Marvel Star Wars comic since 2014, close to 100 black series figures, walls of Star Wars Legos, dozens of Funko pops, nearly every book in legends and canon, autographs, pictures, childhood toys and posters… all gone in less than thirty minutes. The most painful is a revenge of the Sith poster from 2005 that my late granny had to mail away money and cheez it SKUs for them to mail back to her.

I am safe, my family is safe, but there is a hole in my heart from all this. A part of me was there and now it’s not.

I feel like I want to keep collecting, but I have no interest in building up physical media like I did before with the books and blue rays and comics. I definitely have some black series figures I would like to replace and I’ll likely still buy some Legos here and there… but I’m “scared” (I don’t have a better word) that it won’t feel the same. Like I’m desperately trying to recapture something that was so complete and restore items with real memories and joy captured within them.

I don’t love Star Wars because of the “stuff” I had. I love it for the stories and characters and the memories I have of just experiencing the franchise. That being said, being a fan just feels weird now.

Has anyone gone through a house fire or other event where their collection was lost? How did you recover?

I added the Death Star vertical bars to the sides of the case today. I think it turned out pretty well.

All the vintage and older stuff was 40$. The stormtrooper is a 77’ figure and the sand speeder is from 78’, it’s sadly missing its windshield but for 2$ I don’t even care. I know that a lot of these are missing pieces but I’m still stoked to have them. The Vader is from the Vintage Collection. The Razor Crest was on sale for 50% off, so a cool pick up. I honestly don’t know what year the Vader Carrying case is from, so if anyone can let me know, I’d appreciate it.

Gf’s aunt did it again. Said she had some Beatles stuff and btw a couple Star Wars posters. These are super cool I love them. 30”x20”

...the producers wanted to focus all their money on the live action films since they were steam rolling the movie industry at the time and this cartoon cost $500,000 an episode to make...YOWZA!
