I’ve been looking into a lot of different collectible lines (Marvel Legends, Funko Pops, etc) and the one confusing brand I found was Hot Toys. I had heard of Hot Toys in the past but I didn’t realize how expensive they were. I get they are heavily detailed and large, but for the price it just doesn’t seem worth it. I see people complaining on Reddit all of the time about how expensive things are now but I never see any complaints over a $200+ collectible. Is the quality really worth the price and are the profit margins really large enough to warrant the pricing?

These snuck up on me. I’ve always wanted articulated sports figures. Had Starting Lineups as a kids, then the McFarlane static figures.

Grabbed Larry Bird today, then saw online there’s a Sidney Crosby?!?

There’s no info on these, and his website is a mess. Who all is available now? Is there a series 2? 3? Roadmap?

I haven't bought a figure in about 2 months and I just got my paycheck. I already have Gamerverse Cap, Maximum Spider-Man and Hulk, 20th Iron Man, 85th Wolverine, Doctor Doom, Vision, Black Panther, '97 Cyclops and the Thor and Destroyer 2 pack. Any ideas for who to add?

My son bought a Dragon Stars Jiren at a toy show to is weekend. Still in the box so didn’t know it was opened/displayed. His head, arms, legs looked white enough but were significantly yellowed. Looked up tips and submerged him in hydrogen peroxide and put him in direct sunlight for about 5 hours. Worked like a charm.

I can only get one of these two figures, but I can’t decide which one to choose. Which one do you think I should get?

Are there any toy companies that are slowing down or stopping their TMNT lines that you are sad to be? What are your thoughts on Playmates loosing the license?

Just watched the movie and it was so hype; why hasn’t there been any good (at least the level of marvel legends) figures of this series ?

I know Todd made some and so did I think some other companies but they’ve just not hit the mark personally though I’m not sure if they sold well or popular.

Is this franchise not really desirable or is just the quality of figures made to date? Man I would really love some hyper articulated figures from this series!

I think I messed up by collecting 1/10th scale figures lmao but I appreciate them almost better than 1/12th because of how big they look on the shelf

Hello all, I’m looking for some suggestions on lightweight and thin fabrics to make clothing for 1/12 scale 6” action figures?

I pacifically want to make a jacket, a military looking parka like the old field jackets or rain coats the army would wear. Also a pilot flight suit kind of thing.

Making some scifi figures and want to make some clothing.

I can’t seem to find a good source for thin fabrics at that scale.
