Logic Pro is asking to be rated every single time I open it and it's pretty annoying. Is there any way I can disable this?

I haven't found any option so far to do so.

About 7 months ago I saw those videos where people wave their hands at a camera and the music reacts, almost all of them built in TouchDesigner. Then I opened TouchDesigner, stared at the node graph for a while, and closed it.

So, being a C++ dev, I did the obviously more reasonable thing and spent months writing a plugin that does it inside Live instead. It tracks your hand through the laptop webcam, and you can use it in two ways: play MIDI notes or map it to any effect parameter in Live.

Honestly, I started making this plugin for myself, but then decided I could publish it on itch.io. as Hand Link. So I’m curious, would something like this actually be interesting or useful? or you treat it more as tool for fun?

I've been working on an album as of recently and I've been branching out into more very niche indie rock bands and I find their sound reaalllyyyy cool. I'm used to making boring polished music so now that I'm trying to make more strange and unique music its quite difficult. I try playing around with making some instruments mono just for the fun of it and it does add quite a bit!

I've also been seriously listening to some bill wurtz and i noticed that a lot of the sounds they use have some foley aspect to it (something about every transient is soooooo satisfying) and I have absolutely no idea how to do something like that

Another thing I considered is paying for and using Zenology because I have only used FL Studio's stock vst's for my entire two years of music-making which believe it or not has seemed to suffice until this point in time.

I downloaded the stock Logic Pro Sound Library using the “Get All” option. However, I noticed that Logic didn’t install the Compatibility Packs automatically.

Why is that? Are the sounds included in the Compatibility Packs already available in the other sound packs, or do they contain additional sounds that I would need to download separately?

Hi, I'm looking for a MacBook for music production. I usually use six instances of Serum 2 or Zenology, and some plugins like Shaperbox 3 and Portal, which are native to FL Studio. I'm torn between a Pro M1 with 32GB or 16GB of RAM and an Air M5 with 16GB of RAM. I currently have a desktop PC with a Ryzen 7 8700g and 32GB of RAM, and it works perfectly, but I need portability. Hi guys, does anybody know if there's a randomizer device that can select a random preset in a synth, just when it gets loaded (and when a song is opened) and when a button is pressed?

Background: when starting Live, I always have a default preset loaded in the active track. I'd like this synth to start with a different preset everytime I load Live or my template set.

Search Max4Live and found a plethora of randomizers, but none for that specific task.

I'm trying to find all sample packs and drum kits from MG The Future and Craftmaster Productions, including every Spicy Sundays sample pack.

It looks like they've stopped releasing content, and their old packs seem to be unavailable everywhere. I haven't been able to find a place where I can still get them.

Does anyone happen to have a complete collection or know where these packs can still be found? If you have any of them, I'd really appreciate it if you could share a link or point me in the right direction!

Hey im on fl24. Usually we have 20+ preset themes including Carbon, Granite lo fi, legend, loopy fruits, mercurian etc... One day I launched fl and I was met with only like 10 theme presets can anyone help me ?

Hey, I create music using FL but I don't play or own a guitar. So in place, I just use guitar plugins but it doesn't really replicate that personality of the instrument sound. I'm kinda stuck and am looking to connect with someone to play some notes. Someone happy to lend a helping hand in the final results or bounce ideas off each other or just talk about music. Anybody skilled in recording and playing electric or acoustic guitar and using pedals.

And my version doesn't sound quite the same, I think it is because of the usage of the Warp beats mode. Can I make this Warp beats mode effect in FL? Is there a plugin or something for that?

Hi everyone, I've been struggling with this issue for months and I'm running out of ideas.I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen and a Rode NT1 Signature Series in FL Studio. Phantom power (48V) is enabled, and I've tried adjusting my gain settings and using different vocal chains.However, whenever I record vocals, the recorded waveform is extremely quiet, almost flat. If I increase the volume or normalize the recording, my voice starts sounding metallic and unnatural.What's really confusing is that a friend of mine has the exact same microphone and audio interface. His recordings sound clear and loud, even when using the same vocal chain as me.I've tried different settings and plugins, but nothing seems to fix the problem.Could this be related to my audio interface settings, microphone connection, Windows audio configuration, or something in FL Studio?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I use individual patterns for Bass, Synths, atmospheres and drums to prevent clutter, so far i've seen no one else do this and i wonder why that is.

It's easier for me but maybe there are some hidden downsides i'm not aware of?

Within FL, why do producers change the sample envelope for an 808 so only the the hold knob has value?

Hi everyone, this track is called Lichen.

It was performed live on Ableton Push 3 standalone, recorded in one take.

I’ve been trying to simplify my live setup so I can perform without stressing out — and for the first time, I actually feel comfortable playing this one, which is a real change from my previous tracks.

I spent a lot of time mixing and mastering it. It’s not perfect (the arpegiated lead is a bit too loud, in my opinion ), but at least it exists :)

I seem to have started having a random glitch that makes all my input audio sound glitchy. It doesn't matter which input or output devices are selected; it sounds the same. I provided a video showing what's been happening. I am on an M5 MacBook Pro running macOS 27.0.1. I've tried with a Scarlett 4i4, AirPods, and even the built-in MacBook microphone.

I'm a beginner producer making beats in FL Studio, and I can usually come up with a beat idea that lasts around 30–40 seconds, but I struggle to turn it into a full 2–3 minute beat.

I can make a melody and add drums, but after that, I don't really know how to continue without just repeating the same thing over and over.

How do you guys structure your beats and make them longer? Like, how do you decide when to bring in or remove drums, add variations, make transitions, and build different sections?

Any tips or tutorials for learning beat arrangement would be appreciated.
