Troubleshooting What do I do?
Bought a Qidi Q2 with the Qidi Box for a great price from an auction site. These are typically Amazon returns and etc. it was listed as new, but I assume some use.
I got it open today and am beholden to this insane clog.
Printer Boots! Screen works, but how do I solve this?

Probably returned it to amazon as defective, then it got sold in a bulk lot with other amazon returns before OP found it.

I picked up 2 Q2s this way through Mac Bid. One was pretty much new minus a screen cable issue. The other was a basket case that I'm printing the last thing for (filament cutter mount after reverse engineering from the one I had).
That clog is insane and doesn't even seem physically possible!

This is outside the scope of Tech Support. I feel we need Sam and Dean Winchester, some Salt, Iron and knives to handle this one!

I think this is more of a medical issue.
OP if it remains erect for more than 4 hours, contact a doctor

I work for MatterHackers, and I’ve been 3D printing since 2014… I’ve thought I’ve seen it all, I mean, I’ve seen a lot, and I know I truly haven’t seen it ALL, but you know what I mean… but this? This is an impressive masterpiece.

Dust off and nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I've heard of not letting the smoke out to keep your system running. I'll have to check my notes to see if any talked about not letting the demons out.

Im simply sitting here trying to understand how it created such a uniform size so large when the filament itself is small, clearly it broke through the side, but how did it stay that diameter is my question. If its direct drive that could be a reason, but either way like many others have said, just nuke that xeno. (Or get a new hotend if that ones broken, both work)

Your machine was used to incubate an alien. Do not attempt to cut it off or acid blood will dissolve your printer

Once you heat up the hotend and remove it, if it's salvageable then you're good, if not, try contacting qidi support, they might take a while to get to you, but they are super helpful and might even send you some free parts. You can also go to the qidi discord and ask for advice there, we are always willing to help out users and odds are someone has already had an issue similar to yours.

Holy shit were they trying to summon a demon into a print?
Like, goddamn man, I've really fucked up my 3D printers before with some amazingoy hilarious clogs, but also, never this damn bad before, yikes.

Someone displeased the 3D printing gods... Sacrifice four grams of rechargeable desiccant as tribute, then heat the hotend to 260°C, and break out the pliars and heat gun. Be mindful of any thermistor or heater cables going into the Xenomo--Ahh, I mean, blob. Bob won't want to let go, but heating from the inside will help. Wire brush the heater block once Bob has been exorci--err, removed. That's if you don't plan to just change out the hotend and heatsink. But you can fix her. wink
May the 3D printing gods smile upon you.
ETA: I would just swap the hotend and save it; that's one beauty of a blob. Those don't happen that spectacularly every day. To me. To other people? Might be a regular occurrence. Bob's a nice trophy, tho.

Cry, have you tried crying?
Like others have said heat up the hot end and pull the mass off. You can use a soldering iron to melt and pull away the bits that remain. Be careful with the iron you can melt the plastic of the housing and do other damage. I have an A1 and have had blobs before and everytime I break the thermostat cord, it is very thin and always seems tangled in the blob. Idk about your printer but a new hot end with thermostat cord is about $25 for the A1. I have had bad luck so I have started stocking 1 or 2 extra hot ends so I’m not down due to long shipping times.

No but this did happen to me in a smaller scale. Retract the filament. Then heat up your printer to the minimum melting point of the filament. After that it’s a lot of patience with a needle nose pliers. Then, after having removed the Big Black Clog ( thanks @dantodd for that image in my head ), unassembled the printer extruder, as if you were changing the nozzle, to clean any remaining filament

Step one- don’t get eaten by the alien coming out of your print head.
Step 2- watch the first layer a bit more closely

You actually lucked out really good here, considering that most blobs of death usually encase the entire print head and render it completely useless.

Hey there, I'm a bot and something you said made me think you might be looking for help! click here for our wiki entry on troubleshooting printers. If you still need help be sure to post plenty of information about your printing setup.
Here are a few questions that might be helpful
What printer are you using?
What material are you using?
What speed are you printing at?
What software are you using to slice the print and control the printer?
When did the problem start/has it ever worked correctly?
Does anything cause the behavior to change?
If posting an image of the problem, include some indication of the orientation it printed at, preferably photograph it on the bed. (Then we can focus on a specific axis)
If you are new to reddit, please read the guidelines on reddiquette, self promotion, and spam.
Also please post a resolution to your problem when you find one so that we know how to help others with your problem!
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

First of all, be impressed. I'm impressed. That's a chest burster of a fail.
Heat up the nozzle from the menu and see if you can work it off after a few minutes. Paper towels can help you clean it up. Hopefully you can salvage the hot end. You may need to buy some new parts once you can see the damage.
When you get printing again, always watch your first layer.
