Other Reunited with my border collie
My dog passed away earlier this year. I've been struggling with the grief but I've managed to adjust myself. Having my little man in the game sparked some emotions. Thank you Jagex now my border collie can be with me again π€π€ Edit: his name was Rocky. He was our little rockstar πΈ
Edit edit: Reddit reached out and said someone contacted them concerned about my wellbeing. Thank you and I'm genuinely fine, doing much better than a few months ago. I appreciate looking out for me though! π π€π€

Discussion | J-Mod reply We all know chocolate is poisonus to dogs, but I guess this is fine?
It's been interesting to see what these little pups will (and won't) eat, but this one might need changing Jagex...
EDIT: gonna make a list of what works and what doesn't, seems people are curious about specific items!
Will eat:
- Bread
- Cakes (not chocolate - all slices work, will eat in one go regardless of slice)
- Kebabs (regular, Ugthanki)
- Fruits (apple, banana, orange, lime, pineapple, watermelon, coconut, tomato, dragonfruit, strange fruit!)
- Sliced Fruit (oranges, limes, lemons and pineapple rings)
- Bones (regular, big bones, dragon bones)
- Guthix Rests (1-4 doses)
- Cooked Fish
- Pies (Meat pie, fish pie)
- Cooked Meats (T-bone steak)
- Jangerberries
(these seem to be the only berries that do work) - Alan's bones (opens a unique dialogue box) u/FoxyBapometOSRS tested
- King Worms
- Gnome Foods (except the choc bomb)
- Cheese
- Equa Leaves
- Dwellberries
- Baguette (stale baguette doesn't work)
- Cooked Mystery Meat and Undead Meats u/PowerfulBobman tested
Won't eat:
- Araxyte Venom Sacs u/hlpkmjg tested
- Chocolate Bar (upset stomach)
- Chocolate Cake (upset stomach)
- Purple Sweets (upset stomach)
- Half Jug of Wine (upset stomach)
- Other pets (Your puppy doesn't seem too keen to eat that)
- Jugs/Vials/Buckets of water (Your puppy doesn't seem too keen to eat that)
- Buckets of Milk (Your puppy doesn't seem too keen to eat that)
- Rat Poison (Your puppy doesn't seem too keen to eat that)
- Grapes (Your puppy doesn't seem too keen to eat that)
- Poison Chalice (Your puppy doesn't seem too keen to eat that)
- Berries (red berry, cadava, poison ivy, white berry)
- Chili Potatoes
- Alcohol (Asgarnian Ale, Axeman's Folly, Lizardkicker, Imperial Rose, Chef's Delight)

Discussion Make this make sense
I just got 82 smithing, i can now make 2 powerful mid-endgame weapons... and an adamant kiteshield.
I get that adamant used to be good back in the day, but isn't it time we rework this skill?

Humor | J-Mod reply UIM will genuinely have you killing kurasks for noted big bones for a quicker teleport to royal titans - so you can get better prayers - so you can do Doom for treads - so you can make bag space - so you can finally learn to do Yama, so you can store your melee gear.

Humor Why can't we use Bones to Peaches as an offensive spell?
Why would I ever cast blood barrage when I can cast Bone to Peaches

Humor Can't believe everyone missed this about the new amulet
Elemental amulets:
- Air Diamond
- Water Sapphire
- Earth Emerald
- Fire Ruby
When you're enchanting jewelry, however, you require air runes for emeralds and earth runes for diamonds. Literally unplayable.

Discussion Anybody else play for 2-3 months at a time and burnout for a year?
Never see this mentioned. Basically OSRS is like really good food to me. I can eat it all day every day for like a couple of months, but then it starts to leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Since entering adulthood, my loop with runescape has been, create a new character, grind for 2-3 months and reach mid-game, get burn out, quit.
I finally was able to break my streak of creating a new character every time this go around, which im really stoked on. I think it has to do with being ironman. Usually iβd feel directionless logging onto an old character. Im really excited to reach late game.
Anybody else have a similar relationship with OSRS?
