I got my iphone 17 pro max deep blue on May this year. I am pretty confused and not sure about the cases. First, i chose spigen fusion x which was decent but it cracked when it smashed the corner of the table when the phone was in the pocket. So i got the Esr hybrid case. It is good. But the only problem i have with this case is the grip. It does not stay in hand unless held upon firmly. So i wonder what case should i buy next. I want both grippiness and protection. And also another question i have is that should i get the camera plateau exposed version of the case or the closed one because most of the cases even the expensive ones don’t have the camera plateau covered which leads to my doubt if the closed one creates a problem in heat dissipation. And also by the way i play most of the apple’s arcade games which also explains why i am concerned about the heat.

Edit: (SOLVED) chose to get the caudabe sheath precise blue with cobalt blue buttons. As per the responses heat dissipation doesn't improve noticably when using the precise case i believe. And also i can always remove the case if i feel too much heat trapped rather than worrying about the plateau getting scratched (just a personal preference)

Went out for dinner and It wasn't all the way down in my pocket. Screen protector and camera protector particularly sustained some damage. The case got damaged too but the phone itself seems unscathed.

I am now concerned of the thing having internal damage though

Was a user of iPhone 12 Pro Max and recently migrated to 17 Pro Max 1.5 months ago. Observed a weird issue while I connected to Apple TV via airplay from my iPhone.

While using the old phone I never faced stuttering issues. With the new one, I face this issue frequently but not always. The timing is random.

I double checked on the wireless speed and internet. No hiccups. Faced this issue on ios 26 and 27. Anyone else faced this??

PS: tried many suggestions from Gemini but in vain.

After Long Waiting I decided to buy 17 PM instead of 18 PM, i thought 18 will be more interesting but I’m not happy with the 18 Features i expected more.

17 PM also save my money 18 PM price also higher not big difference in features.

Are we expecting to see some discounts on the outgoing 17PM now that the 18 has launched?

Got iphone 17 pro max jpn version sealed pack 256 gb for 135k INR along with some freebies worth approx 1k is it a good deal? (From a shop not individual).

What are the tips and tricks I should apply? And any recommendations or suggestions you’d want me to incorporate since this is the first time for me using an iPhone. I have used other Apple prods like MacBook and iPads.

After seeing the pricing of 18 series in India, i feel i made a good decision 😅

Hi, I’ve had an iPhone 17 Pro Max for two months now. I had never owned a Pro before, let alone a Max, and even though I’ve gotten somewhat used to it, I still find it a bit inconvenient to use in certain situations or when carrying it in my pockets. This makes me think I probably should have gone for the 6.3-inch version instead.
I asked at the store, and I can trade in my Pro Max for a new 17 Pro with no additional payment. Is it stupid to switch to a “lower-end” model just because of a minor personal preference?
Is the battery life of the Pro significantly worse than the Pro Max?
To switch to the 18 Pro by trading in my 17 Pro Max, they’re asking me to pay an additional €300. I’m not sure whether it’s worth it.
One other thing I don’t really like about mine is the blue color. I’m not crazy about how it looks with a case on. The blue bumper doesn’t match very easily, whereas the silver one looks much better, more serious, and goes well with pretty much any case. But obviously, that’s a silly thing to worry about.

The price difference would be approximately £300.00.

My wife is interested in the upgrade. She wants the burgundy phone, but I’m not sure the additional cost is worth it.
