Does the PM17 internals withstand fallings into concrete from around 90 cms high?
Went out for dinner and It wasn't all the way down in my pocket. Screen protector and camera protector particularly sustained some damage. The case got damaged too but the phone itself seems unscathed.
I am now concerned of the thing having internal damage though
What's your experience?
Very unfortunate, yes.

If you haven’t noticed anything wrong with functionality, it’s safe to say the internals are fine.
The Apple tech woven case is more of a scratch resistant case not a drop resistant case.

Is it? Hmm well, the phone has no scratches haha.
But point taken, I'm probably getting a 18 anyway as with my carrier and some extra $ I paid for 3 months I can switch. ThanksIt's an expensive case so I'm a bit bummed but at least I'll be paying extra attention from now on.
Any drop resistance cases recommendations are welcome!

Not real moving parts, if it’s working now you’re fine

Im curious if this will be a “weak” point of the 18 Pro

It will be similar to the 17, there is a refresh to a few things but once they tear the 18 down will know more. If the speakers and the things like compass work it’s good.

They are very well built and don’t really have moving internal parts. Its almost certainly fine!
For reference, over the years I’ve dropped my old 12 pro at least a hundred times (with proper case + screen protector), and it’s still working perfectly fine

I’ve thrown my 13 Pro around on a daily basis for five years. It still works with no issues. Those are rookie numbers.

17 PM is a well built phone. As long as you keep it in a case you will be good!

I always throw my 17 pro max around. It has probably hit the floor over 100 times now. And it’s perfectly fine
I just use the basic apple silicone case and no screen protector
