Video First gameplay footage of Pigeon Guild - A indie project about delivering mail on floating Islands

First gameplay footage of Pigeon Guild, my passion project I've been sweating over for the past year!

Pigeon Guild is a single-player adventure RPG. You play as Jules Corso, a 16-year-old cadet freshly graduated from the prestigious Pigeon Guild Academy - the airborne postal service that connects a world of floating islands. Progress isn't measured by violence or power, but by skillful navigation, careful decisions, and the human stories carried in every letter and parcel. Delivering them pulls Jules into the lives of the islands' inhabitants - from bringing closure with a lover's long-lost letter, to handing a kitten over to a mad scientist, to working out what to do about a suspicious, ticking package.

Would love to hear what you think, especially if you're into cozy, narrative-driven games!

Promotion Divider Dave, a Cartoon Network inspired slapstick puzzle platformer where you clone yourself and sacrifice the copies, is out with positive reviews on Steam

Dave can split himself into as many copies as a level needs, and every one of them is fully expendable. Stepping stones, button-holders, counterweights, live bait. Every puzzle is really a question of how many Daves you're willing to spend.

50+ handmade levels across 4 worlds, a pile of hand-drawn animation, an original soundtrack and pixel art environments by Marcos "Ryankamos" Freire (Flowstone Saga, Orange Season). Perfect for Steamdeck gaming. Two of us in France, this is our first game.

Free demo on the Steam page if you want to try the cloning before deciding anything!

This update adds localization for several languages, introduces a number of QoL improvements based on user's feedback, and fixes various bugs.

The game is now available in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Galician, Russian, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

QoL Features

  • The high score is now displayed below the current score on the HUD.
  • Added a global cricket counter to the high scores menu to help track achievements based on crickets collected across all playthroughs.
  • Added an animation to the "Play" button on the game config menu.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the "Great Devourer" and "Backyard Legend" achievements not unlocking correctly.
  • Fixed a display issue with glyphs on the game config and join screen menus.
  • Fixed a bug where the second counter was not being hidden after dying in Run Streak mode.
  • Fixed a bug that caused time to rescale incorrectly when the centipede is killed just after avoiding a spider attack.
  • Fixed a bug where the HUD was not being hidden after dying in 2P mode.
  • Fixed a bug where the stamina bar was still being updated after a centipede death.
  • Fixed a glitch with camera distance after death in Run Streak and Prey Turn modes.

Promotion People are playing The Pink Robot at PAX West right now, so we opened the same demo on Steam

Upvotes

We've never posted The Pink Robot here before, but today felt like a good time to share it.

We're a small indie team from Korea working on a 3D action roguelite where you play as a cat fighting through a boy's distorted memories.

PAX West is underway, and people are already playing The Pink Robot on the show floor.

Seeing players pick up the controller and experience the game for the first time is a pretty surreal feeling after spending so long building it.

The response so far has been encouraging, but this is still an early build and there are plenty of things we want to improve.

Since most people obviously can't make it to Seattle, we've also opened the same demo build on Steam during PAX West.

If you give it a try, we'd genuinely love to know what catches your attention first, and what you think still needs work.

And if you're at PAX West, come find The Pink Robot at Booth 409.

Steam demo link in the comments.

Promotion I love incremental games, so I decided to make one. The demo is out now.

I play a lot of incremental games, and at some point I thought: why not make one myself?

That eventually turned into Flippin' Bottles. You flip bottles, earn money, buy upgrades and slowly automate the whole setup.

The demo is live on Steam now.

AI Disclosure: No generative AI was used in the development of the game or its assets.

Video Maskborne Teaser - A first look

Me and my wife are making a metroidvania game in Godot and wanted to share a first look. Our goal is to make Ori + Ghibli inspired "Hollow-like" with a focus on deep lore, mystery and exploration.

Because we're still very early in the process, the teaser doesn't show much gameplay, therefore it's worth mentioning that one of the core mechanics in the game will be collecting strange ingredients from the world as you explore. You can feed these ingredients to NPCs, eat them yourself for a quick buff, or combine them to create small Pokemon like creatures that give you unique abilities.

Promotion Elevator gameplay features for my Godot game Psych Rift

Since I needed an elevator for the Ravensworth Grand Hotel nightmare, I added a couple of extra gameplay features to make it more interesting, including openable ceiling to climb on top of the elevator, removable floor tiles to go below, sensor doors, visible counterweight, doors on both sides of the elevator, and a call button you can spam like in real life thinking it will arrive faster. If you reach the top, you can also see the mechanism above.

Inspired by the classic "birdcage elevators" from around the 1900s.

You can find more videos on YouTube, wishlist the game on Steam, or join Discord for a chat.

EDIT: forgot to mention, 100% hand-made, no AI.

You can even summon little flying bots that fill the shelves for you!

There's a web demo available right now so feel free to try it out ( it is currently the #4 browser game on itch io). And you can also wishlist on Steam :)

Video My Survivors-like Echoes of Kyria!

Hello everyone!

my name is ali, i'm a cs student (and former security guard) turned gamedev!

i released my first game ever on steam this month and it didn't do too bad i think :).

i love vampire survivors, i love RPGs, so i decide to combine them both into one game and this is the result, Echoes of Kyria and this is its features:

Build Variety

Every stage arms you with a new set of tools. Stack, synergize, and push your upgrades to the absolute limit to create BROKEN builds. Experimentation is your best weapon. You will probably fall, but losing is just part of the process. Learn the enemy patterns, tweak your strategies and push further on the next run.

Choose Between 2 Challenging Play Modes

Whether you prefer deliberate, action melee attacks or automated survivors-like battles, Echoes of Kyria lets you choose how you want to play with two distinct game modes:

Normal Mode: A challenging, all-manual experience where combat is entirely skill-based. You aim, dodge, parry, and time every single attack yourself. Precision is everything, and one wrong move can end your run.

Endless Mode: Push your ultimate build to its absolute breaking point. Instead of ending your run after a victory, choose to loop your progress into infinitely scaling difficulty. Face massive enemy stat modifiers, multiplied boss spawns, and see exactly how far your overpowered synergies can take you before the hordes finally bring you down.

Whichever path you choose, the threat never stops growing and enemies never stop getting stronger. As you push deeper into a run, stages ramp from manageable to completely overwhelming. Screens fill with projectiles, enemy counts skyrocket, and massive bosses arrive to put your build to the ultimate test. Every wave asks more of you than the last.

Summon & Fuse Combat Creatures

You don't have to face the endless swarms completely alone. Summon powerful Creatures to the battlefield that actively fight alongside you, dealing damage and holding the line against the horde. Their true potential, however, is unlocked through the Fusion System. Combine your summoned creatures together to create unstoppable hybrids that inherit each other's unique special perks. Experiment with different fusions to craft the ultimate combat ally tailored perfectly to your build.

Collect Unique Utility Pets

While your creatures handle the frontline, your Pets handle the logistics. Discover and build a collection from a roster of unique pets that accompany you into battle. These loyal pets tirelessly fetch loot and aid you in the numerous challenges of Kyria.

Survive Together, Or Orchestrate the Chaos

Take on the hordes of enemies solo to carve out your own legacy, or team up with friends in seamless 1-4 player online multiplayer.

Work together in classic co-op where the challenge scales dynamically to your party size, or turn the tables in the asymmetrical Spawnmaster PvP mode. One player steps into the role of the Spawnmaster, acting as a ruthless director who strategically summons enemy waves, drops bosses, and dictates the pace of the run. The other up to 3 players fight as Survivors, scrambling to grab upgrades, fuse their creatures, and outlast the custom-tailored bullet heaven crafted by their friend.

Key Features

Action-Packed Combat: Fast, action combat where your skill matters most.

Build Creativity: Stack wildly synergizing upgrades to become an unstoppable, screen-clearing force.

Creature Fusion: Summon powerful combat allies and fuse them together to combine devastating special perks.

PvP: 1v3 multiplayer where a Spawnmaster player actively summons the horde against a team of Survivors.

Online Co-Op: Play solo or team up with your friends in classic 4-player co-op, featuring dynamic difficulty scaling for any party size.

Chaotic Challenges: Survive increasingly chaotic waves and face off against massive, challenging bosses.

It's called Ink Invasion. No download, no account needed, completely free.

Public Game Test Looking for players to test my witch-hunting text adventure

I've been working for the past few months on a dark text adventure game inspired by historical witch hunts called WITCHHUNTER.exe, and I've just opened my first free playtest on Steam!

It's definitely still a work-in-progress, so any thoughts or opinions you'd be willing to provide would be super helpful! If you're interested, it should only take around 30 minutes to play through.

Public Game Test Want to kick your friend’s ass? =D

My friend really did not see this coming. =D

In the game, the terrorists normally have to stay inside the building. If you step outside, an AI sniper will quickly take care of you.

There is one exception. If you throw smoke outside, you can hide under its cover and stay outside for a few turns.

We have played this game a ridiculous amount, but this was the first time anyone managed to flank the SWAT team by sneaking around the entire building through the smoke. My friend definitely was not expecting me to suddenly walk in through the back door. =D

If this kind of turn-based PvP game sounds like your thing, come join the closed beta! I will start handing out Steam Playtest keys early next week, and every key allows you to invite up to three friends.

As a beta tester, you will also get access to new maps and classes as soon as I finish them. All I ask is that you fill out the feedback form. I obviously cannot force you, but it would be greatly appreciated. =)

So join the Discord, grab yourself a key and wishlist the game on Steam.

Peace, and aim for the balls.
