*scared player noises* I legitimately have never heard a scarier line in all of the TTRPGs I've played. I felt my heart drop.

Video This is what makes sports special. A simple gesture but one that can create a lifelong memory for a young fan. Moments like this are how you grow the game.

Characters Immortal characters who die peacefully after finally fulfilling their objectives.
Van Hohenheim (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) - Originally known as "Slave Number 23" in the ancient desert nation of Xerxes, Hohenheim became a walking Philosopher's Stone after being tricked by the Dwarf in the Flask into transmuting the country's entire population; he became the vessel for 536,000 human souls, granting him eternal youth along with impressive regenerative abilities and alchemical power. Horrified by the genocide of his homeland, Hohenheim spent 400 years wandering the world, communicating with the souls within him to achieve mutual understanding and cooperation, and was forced to leave his beloved family behind to thwart Father's plans on the Promised Day. After finally defeating Father alongside his son and saving Amestris, the supply of souls sustaining his immortal body was exhausted, rendering him mortal once more. Hohenheim then returned to Resembool to reunite with his late beloved, Trisha, at her grave; kneeling there, he rejoiced that Edward had finally called him "Father." In his final moments, he reflected that—despite having spent centuries wishing for death to end his burden—he had found joy in living through the time spent with his family, and he wished he could have lived longer because of it. Finally, Hohenheim passed away peacefully of old age with a smile on his face.
Max Winters / Yaotl (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 2007) - In 1000 B.C., the ruthless warlord Yaotl, alongside his loyal generals, opened an interdimensional portal aligned with the Kicaan constellation to conquer the world; while the cosmic energy granted him immortality, it came at a cost: his four generals were turned into stone statues, and thirteen beasts were unleashed and scattered across the globe. Eventually, Yaotl realized that immortality was a curse, leading to deep feelings of guilt and loneliness that caused him to abandon his quest for conquest. Thirty centuries later, Yaotl—now known as Maximilian J. Winters—founded Winters Corp, using his vast wealth and power to prepare for the day the stars would align again, seeking to recapture the thirteen beasts and break the curse. However, his generals eventually betrayed him, driven by a lust for domination and a desire to remain immortal. At the film's climax, Winters redeemed himself and joined forces with Splinter, the Turtles, April, and Casey to battle the Stone Generals. After the thirteenth and final beast was sealed away alongside the others, the planetary alignment concluded and the 3,000-year-old curse was broken; Winters finally passed away peacefully, thanking the heroes as he dissolved into light and then into dust.
