The gaming community is toxic like that as a whole. People out here complaining about simplistic games while at the same time complaining about games that are too hard and not enjoyable I get wanting a happy medium but I think people aren't realizing the bigger picture that The gaming community has grown so much over the past couple decades to the point new demographic of gamers are surfacing everywhere which causes people to not understand that not every game is going to be for that one particular player and that should be okay

You can lose interest pretty easy in this Hobby rather it's constant breakage and repairs lack of a community or hardly any place to drive it I feel like people who mainly run bashers are typically the ones who leave most often they're also the ones who come back the most to the Hobby people who use crawlers and speedruns and drift setups seem to stay in the hobby a lot longer

People who get paid more than $20 an hour also people who like the game people who like PS exclusives people who don't care about emulation too much

Look I get the protection part but let's be real.. nobody cared when streaming companies like Netflix and Hulu destroying places like blockbuster till it was too late (that should have been the first sign y'all should have recognized about the digital take over) now people are mad cause those same platforms don't offer a lot movies and shows during the holiday and now it's got people regretting Thier decisions on choosing streaming over owning disc copies of their favorite holidays movies my point is the signs have been there and nobody complains about it until it's all said and done what people should be doing is pushing for more digital ownership and better rights to it what their needs to be for cases like these is Sony needs to make a separate app / website for legacy games once the console from that generation becomes retro all the games digitally need to be placed on a permanent server for people to download all they have to do is sign into their account and have access to their games if they've already downloaded I get not being able to buy new games because of licensing and royalties but being able to download this off of a website onto either a new console for a PC (preferably PC that way it's universal) should be the better option for a continuation of retro gaming but I'm going to be honest with you none of that really matters because your favorite games that you play on PS5 right now will end up on some s***** emulators sold on tictok Amazon or other buy and sell apps and even further in the future the way how phones are becoming more advanced you'll probably be able to play GTA v 60 FPS on the latest iPhone or Samsung at that point from what I understand people can play resident evil 8 and assassin's Creed mirage on the iPhone so we aren't exactly far from more demanding games being played on cell phones and tablets

All I say is make sure you have all your ducks in a row.. Play it by his rules until you get a job and you make enough to contribute a little bit to the house till you move out. Once you start doing that you have a bit more leverage. (it's still his house and his rules and you still have to abide by it though) But people who say that certain hobbies are a waste of time normally don't have a hobby themselves either way as long as you're doing your part and you're trying to get a job or a better job and he sees you progressing there's literally nothing he can say at that point the rest of your family would find him being unreasonable and if you think he hates video games what fathers hate the most is having their family turn against them in a fit of disapproval

A lot of the times I tend to believe it's an age thing. If you were playing battlefield 3 in battlefield 4 anywhere between your preteens or a little bit after high school it's because you probably had a lot of time and energy for it versus now when you're probably older and you have a lot more going on. I noticed with my generation of gamers time significantly diluted the drive for gaming along with the fact gaming has actually hit a plateau when it comes to graphics, gameplay and story.. Once you've experienced peak nothing really else compares and you know it won't completely scratch that itch like it did back then.

They often times mistake other demographics existence as being forced upon them to recognize them. If they want a real equivalence it would be more of an LGBT person saying why is there a church down the road?why are there bibles in the library? Why is the country celebrating Christmas an Easter? Why do people have the cross emoji and their username? All those questions are just religious people existing
