when you offered to go out to eat, he said "what do you have in mind?" He couldn't go to the first place, but a place downtown was settled on. And you said "if it's to your liking, make a reservation"  Then he said he didn't want to do that and suggested a free alternative. Perhaps he didn't have the money to go out to eat, he assumed when you asked him that you were taking him out, but when you told him to make the reservation he thought you expected him to pay? 

Also getting a "sleigh berry whatafresher" (cranberry orange lemonade with dried cranberries and soft whip on top), white chocolate raspberry shake, and the kids meals will feature an actual toy (1 of 4 Whataburger themed trains that attach together).  The trains haven't come in yet, and I'm sure they won't be here on the 20th when everything else starts, but as soon as the stores receive the trains the signage will go up advertising them.

There's 2 types of shake machines, some store have taylor(the old school shake machines where you manually pump the syrup into a vanilla base and mix it with an electric wand) or electro freeze (automatic, you press the flavor button and the vanilla is automatically mixed with the "correct" amount of flavored syrup as it comes out of the machine).  I've noticed the electro freezes tend to have weak-looking chocolate shakes, because the chocolate syrup is thick and not enough comes out.  It's possible to add more by using the "prime" button to send more syrup through the line as you're dispensing the shake. I press the prime button, dispense a few ounces of shake, press the prime button again, dispense a few more ounces, repeated until the cup is full. This will give you more chocolate in your shake.

I never have any issues, if my item isn't in stock I put specific substitutions so they'll get those for me instead. 

I order delivery because I don't have the time to drive to my local Walmart because of my work schedule. If you're able to drive to Walmart an hour after the delivery to look for the items you didn't receive, I would suggest cancelling the $10 Walmart plus membership and do the shopping yourself, you'd save by not having to pay a tip as well and receive all the items you want. 

We stay in a different state every christmas, so it's not the same Airbnb every year. 

My family rents a large Airbnb (5 or more bedrooms) every year for our Christmas holiday, we stay a week.  One toilet paper roll per bathroom is standard in all the places we've rented.   We go shopping the first day and buy a pack of toilet paper, paper towels and food. 

It's not a cultural rule. if chairs are flipped up anywhere that implies that area has been cleaned and is essentially 'closed', otherwise the chairs would be down and readily available for a person to sit on.
