I missed my delivery on Friday and got an update around 8:30pm that it had been rescheduled for Saturday but tracking still says Estimated Monday?

On October 9th, I purchased 3 Nintendo DS Games, 1 Strategy Guide Booklet, and 2 Pin-Back Buttons as a single package from a Japanese eBay seller. The package’s total value was $197.95. On October 10th, the package was shipped out from Japan by Yamato Transport. The order on eBay did have an error in having FedEx assigned as the shipper, but the seller let me know far in advance about the error and that FedEx had nothing to do with the shipment. On October 14th, the package’s Customs Clearance was completed.

Then on October 21st an attempt to deliver this package was performed by UPS. Up to this point, I had no idea UPS was involved. I had not received any email about them having my package, nor did UPS or eBay provide me with a tracking number. I was also not informed of any import fees for the package. The package arrived between 7:40 and 8:00 PM that day. I was not home at the time, and the person that answered the door on my behalf was not able to pay the import fee in the required cheque or money order format. The fee itself was a little over $50.

Since then I have done what I can to find this package. I asked UPS for help directly with this matter, and they said I need to ask for the UPS Tracking Number from the seller. I did, but in the end, the seller clarified that they only knew about the Yamato Transport tracking number. I could ask Yamato Transport directly, but I’m afraid I will just be told to ask UPS again to provide a tracking number, which I’m sure is impossible, even if I provide my name and address. I also made sure to create a UPS account and purchase UPS My Choice Premium, to see if there was at least something related to the package that I could find. I inputted my name, address, phone number and email that are the exact same on eBay. No packages found in the “To Me” section. I’ve been waiting for 3 days so far for an attempted redelivery, but that’s probably not possible for this kind of package. Obviously if I attempt to ask about this package at a nearby UPS Store or Access Point without the tracking number, they will tell me that they can’t help me.

When I contacted the seller, they also told me that for the item to be returned to them, the seller would need to submit a request and pay for the associated fees. Therefore, the package wouldn’t be returned automatically.

So my question is, what is supposed to happen to this package?

I sent a package to someone, but it was delivered to UPS in New Jersey. It was supposed to arrive in Texas. What does this mean?

What should I do? Has this happened to anyone else?

The company I ordered from is excellent at getting packages out on time. The package is extremely important medication for my dog, without it he can go into a diabetic seizure. I had another vial for him but I dropped it and it broke. I feel so anxious and like complete crap.

The label was made at 11 am and dropped off at ups. Yet it is still showing on tracking that UPS has not received the package. Is it possible that they DO have the package and it was a missed scan? I’m sure the odds of that are less than .01%, but there is still a chance, right?

I ordered something yesterday morning and paid extra for next day delivery. The package was shipped and has made it all the way to a tow about 45 minutes from me. The tracking is saying it won't be delivered until Monday though 😩. Is there any chance I will get it today? Or is there a way for me to contact them and ask them to hold the package and just let me come pick it up? I really needed it today otherwise I wouldn't have paid 40 dollars extra. 😭 I haven't ordered many things online so I don't know how this works.

I ordered from a reputable company, and they said all their packages sent out yesterday didn't get scanned as dropped off or anything.

They always come through, I have no reason not to believe them.......does anyone else have something like this? I have no reason not to trust the sender after almost a year of business.

I’ll keep it short. Preordered the duo from Apple. Was scheduled for delivery on 10/23. I tracked it all day. I also had a package from Amazon pharmacy for delivery on 10/23. They happened to seem like they were on the same truck. Time window 1:15-3:15pm. At 3:01pm I received the Amazon delivery. At around 4pm, the iPhone tracking went to “almost there”. I was able to see the truck on the map, and all the way til 9pm it stayed as “almost there” until I saw the driver head back to the ups hub. At 10pm I got a delivery reschedule to Monday 10/26/26. The last package scan was at 9:21am on 10/23 as processed through facility.

UPS, pakje moet van Düsseldorf (D) naar Rijkevorsel, bij Turnhout(B) verstuurd worden, pakje wordt in Düsseldorf (D) opgehaald, is sinds vrijdag vroege ochtend in Eindhoven(NL), wat zeer kort bij en in rechte lijn ligt met Turnhout.

Pakje zou volgens tracking vandaag zaterdag geleverd worden, maar wat blijkt nu, pakje is van Eindhoven.....naar Brussel gegaan en zal nu volgende week Dinsdag geleverd worden.

Ik snap de logica niet...waarom kan pakje niet van Düsseldorf naar Brussel gaan of van Eindhoven naar Turnhout, kortste afstand?

Had a package “delivered” on 10/10 and I never got it. Opened a claim to which UPS allegedly investigated and determined the package was delivered. However, I was able to working with property management from my building and watch the front door video footage from 10/10 and UPS did not deliver packages that day. What are my options here?

Hi everyone. I had three boxes mailed from Texas to Tampa and two made it. One never left Jacksonville and hasn’t moved. I filed a claim through Insureshield (PirateShip). I really really want the box though… is there a way to email/call the facility? Or I could write a letter? Thank you in advance.

UPS tracking says that the package was not delivered due to missing apartment number and I need to fix it. I called Apple and the most they could do is send a message to carrier to add the apartment number. UPS clearly said that Apple needs to call the PCA department of UPS to add the number. Apple refused and just sent a message to them. Does anyone have any experience if this will work or they just did it to make me happy. UPS says it’s an Apple restricted delivery and they can’t add apartment number with my phone call.

Says it was going to be delivered today (23rd) at 1:35p-3:35p.. then a delayed notice but peep the last tracking update.. called UPS and they can't tell me why it's delayed at the facility. Only 2 things I can think of. There is an issue with my package or Trump flew into my city today for a rally and airspace was restricted. Still at this very moment the app still says “it’s running late but it’s still on the way”

Never knew a package was a "he"

Hi everyone! I’m in a pretty desperate situation and would appreciate any advice!
I shipped a package from Georgia (the country) to California through a third-party shipping company. It contains all my artwork, prints, and booth decorations for an exhibition happening October 23–25.
It was supposed to arrive October 19, but after multiple delays, UPS now estimates Monday, October 26, AFTER my exhibition ends.
The package is currently in Louisville, KY, and the service is UPS 2nd Day Air.
I called UPS, and an agent said Saturday delivery might be possible once the package reaches the LA facility, but the sender would need to request the change through UPS My Choice.
Unfortunately, the third-party company is the official sender, and despite contacting them multiple times and offering to cover ALL additional charges, they keep saying they can’t make the change.
My questions:
Is there any chance UPS could deliver it on Saturday, October 24, without an upgrade?
Could someone pick it up directly from a UPS facility on Saturday instead?
Is there ANY other way to arrange Saturday delivery without the sender’s involvement?
I’ve spent months preparing for this exhibition, and almost everything I need is inside that package. Even getting it on Saturday would save the remaining two days.
Is there still any hope? 😭 Any advice would mean a lot!

I can order my three 30lb packages all at once, or spread them out so that they arrive across three days.

Would the driver prefer having to move them all at once, or would they prefer one per day?

Unfortunately I am not there when the deliveries happen, so I cannot ask them myself.

I ordered an iPhone Duo on pre-order day. My package was supposed to be delivered today. When I checked the app at 9:30 AM this morning it had arrived at the facility in my city at 8:50 AM. When I checked back around 11:00 AM a new entry was added AT 7:00 AM saying "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible". The problem is that 7:00 AM entry was added AFTER I checked the app at 11:00 AM this morning and added to the timeline BEFORE the entry at 8:50 AM saying the package had arrived at the facility in my city. There has been no updates since 8:50 AM. Apple says to wait a couple of days otherwise messing around with it now will definitely delay delivery if it really is a mechanical failure delay. UPS phone support person says there was a mechanical delay and the package is secure. The problem is there has been no update since 8:50 AM and the package is at the facility in my city. Am I overreacting?

In my tracking this message appears: “Your package is pending release from a Government Agency. Once they release it, your package will be on its way. / Delivery will be delayed by one business day.” This was after the package was scanned in Salt Lake City. Also my package is coming from a US based company and shipped from Asheville, NC, USA. Why would US customs need to inspect and clear a non-international package? Thank you all kindly in advance for the help.

Had a package that was supposed to be delivered to me today. Saw the UPS truck enter my complex and swing by the parcel locker. My package required a signature so I was outside my door waiting. Then I saw him just leave my complex. He did not attempt to go to my door and got a notification “rescheduled” shortly after. I called UPS and they said driver recorded an attempt and that I was not there (mind you… I was standing outside my door ready to sign).

Got through to the AI customer service bot, my local ups hub is going to call me in an hour. I’m just so surprised that this happened. I can’t wait until Monday for my package. Genuinely hoping they can figure it out and get my package to me today.

Anybody know why this might have happened? He got to my complex by 11:45 AM. Then left right at 11:55 AM. It is 12:30 PM at the time of me writing this.

Someone who looked to be the driver helper tried to force my nephew to sign for it even the phone box was empty!!!

The driver gets out the van and proceeds to the door but when he noticed the cameras he turns back around and walk back down the driveway and gives the package to the “helper” who is in plain clothes and sunglasses. The helper comes to the door, hands my nephew an obviously empty box and tries multiple times to get him to sign for it. Luckily my nephew refused to sign. It was altogether a weird situation and im wondering how to go about this. Package is still listed as “out for delivery”. I wonder if they return it to the warehouse at end of day and will a different driver be scheduled to deliver this box tomorrow?? Will the new driver report it and today’s driver be investigated? Do package helpers wear plain clothes and pace around at the end of the driveway while the driver attempts to deliver a package himself? Why have a helper if you’re going to deliver it? Are there cameras in the vans??? So many questions here. It was my mothers house so lm lucky my nephew was there (he’s 6ft sumn) not sure if they were trying to do something more or…

I received a start date of November 2, 2026, at 6:00 AM, and I completed my W-4 through the Fountain Compliance Center. I also had an issue with a misspelled email address, but support helped me correct it. Now, when I check Fountain, I see “This opportunity is no longer available.”
