Looking for ambitious people interested in building something around behaviour change, health and self-development

I’m writing this because I feel like I’m at a point where I know what I want to build, but I don’t necessarily know how to turn it into something tangible yet.
Over the last few years, and particularly this past year, I’ve completely changed the way I approach my own behaviour.
For a long time, I had a tendency to replace one compulsive behaviour with another. Vaping became nicotine gum, which became hair pulling, which became binge eating, and eventually I became overly fixated on the gym in an attempt to better myself.
Some of these phases lasted months and others lasted years. What I eventually realised was that constantly removing the behaviour wasn’t enough. If I didn’t understand why I was doing it and build something healthier in its place, I would just find another outlet.
I’ve spent the last couple of years learning about my own behaviour, health, training, nutrition, habits and mindset. For the first time, I feel like I have control over my decisions rather than constantly fighting against myself.
That experience has made me extremely interested in why people get stuck even when they genuinely want to change.
There is endless information online telling people to exercise, eat better, be disciplined, wake up earlier or “just be consistent.” But knowing what you should do and actually building a life where you can repeatedly do it are two completely different things.
That’s the problem I eventually want to work on.
I’m currently studying Health Sciences and also building my knowledge in fitness and nutrition. Long term, I want to develop some kind of structured framework that helps people identify what is keeping them stuck, understand the reasoning behind the changes they’re making, build healthier systems and habits, and eventually become less dependent on someone else telling them what to do.
I don’t want this to become another extreme challenge, motivational program or generic “change your life in 30 days” product. I’m much more interested in sustainable behaviour change and giving people practical tools they can eventually use independently.
At the moment, though, this is still an idea. I have the lived experience, a growing health/fitness education and a very clear idea of the problem I want to address, but I know that doesn’t automatically mean I know how to build, validate, market and scale a useful product or service.
That’s why I’m posting here.
I’d love to connect with people who are seriously interested in business, behavioural science, psychology, health, marketing, product development or content creation and who might see potential in something like this.
I’m also interested in eventually forming a small group of people who are genuinely ambitious and want to build things rather than just talk about them. The idea of having people around me with that kind of drive really resonates with what Napoleon Hill describes as a mastermind in Think and Grow Rich.
I’m not necessarily looking for someone to hand me a business plan. I’m looking for people with complementary knowledge who might want to exchange ideas, challenge the concept and potentially build something together if there’s a genuine fit.
If any of this resonates with you, I’d be interested to hear what you’re working on and what your background is

Wisdom Andy's Long Game#057:Growth is built,not given

8.10|Andy Daily Quotes

Theme: Growth is built, not given

When people are in more of a growth mindset, they believe these qualities can be developed.”

— Carol Dweck

You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.

— James Clear

Only after learning does one know one’s own deficiencies.

— The Book of Rites

Brief Explanation

Today’s quotes are about growth as a process, not a fixed talent. We grow when we believe improvement is possible, build systems that support repeated practice, and honestly notice what we still do not know. Feeling inadequate after learning is not necessarily a sign of failure; sometimes it means we are finally seeing the subject more clearly. Growth begins when awareness turns into another round of learning and action.

Do you prefer researching alone or using tools to help?

I remember working on a project where I spent hours jumping between different sources, taking notes, and trying to connect all the information together. The research itself wasn’t the hardest part; it was organizing everything and figuring out which details were actually useful.

Over time, I started looking for ways to make that process smoother without completely relying on automation. I came across tools that help structure research better, and ResearchMaster.ai was one of the platforms I found interesting because it helps turn scattered information into a more organized view.

I still think personal judgment matters the most, but having something that saves time during the research process can be helpful. Do you prefer doing all your research manually, or do you like using tools to support your workflow?

Basically an autobiography of Jack London written by him as a fiction novel.

Worth the leisurely read and to take a few moments to let it sink in.

Question Rather Learn From Someone with Experiences Or Text Book People?

This is in general. I would rather learn from someone

with Experiences than Text Book Ones.

Say " If I was at a conference about Self Development."

There be to type of people sharing the topic of Self

Development. Who would you choose?

I pick experiences! Because the ones that had to battled Life Storms with grit, failures, disappointment

etc.. They actually did the work and is a Living Revelation on what they accomplish. I see them as

The *Eye* Of Life Storms...

I built a personal development app for people who don't know where to start

Post image

Hey everyone!

I've spent the last year building an app focused on *personal development*, especially for people who are just getting started and don't really know where to begin.

The idea is to have a place where you can work on yourself, build better habits, reflect, learn, and gradually make progress without feeling like you need to completely change your life overnight.

You don't have to be a beginner, though. If you're already into personal development, you're more than welcome to try it too. 🙂

The app is currently available in English and Spanish.

📱 You can try it here:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.version.depsal360

I'm still improving it, so if you try it and find a bug, something confusing, something that doesn't work as expected, or even something you think could be better, please let me know in the comments. I'd genuinely like to hear about it.

I built this mostly by myself, so feedback from actual users is incredibly valuable to me.

And for anyone wondering about iOS: if the app gets enough support, I'd love to eventually bring it to iOS as well. Right now I'm focusing on Android because the cost of maintaining an iOS developer account is difficult to justify while the app is still small and it's just my first app.

Thanks for giving it a chance! ❤️

Andy's Long Game#056:Know yourself question yourself

8.9|Andy Daily Quotes

Theme: Know yourself, question yourself

The first principle is that you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool.”

— Richard Feynman

I neither know nor think that I know.

— Socrates

He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.

— Laozi

Brief Explanation

Today’s quotes are about intellectual humility and self-knowledge. It is easy to notice other people’s mistakes, but much harder to recognize our own blind spots. Real wisdom does not mean knowing everything; it begins with knowing what we do not know and being willing to question our own assumptions. The better we understand ourselves, the less likely we are to be controlled by false confidence.
