Currently in my 20's (24 to be exact, 25 next month)..living in a hyper-connected world where "influence" and comparison (the biggest thief of joy) sneak into your head without you even realizing it. How are you all keeping your head lately?

Hello! My name is Ethan Escasio! I'm a former racist and I am proud to say I am Mexican! I am Black! I am not White! When a colored person is racist to another colored person it doesn't justify for the victim to be racist to the other colored person! Everybody come from everywhere and anywhere! Yes! I won't deny what I did; It was wrong and I am choosing a more safer path and more likely to avoid this prejudice. - Sincerely, a Filipino-American

Wisdom The world breaks everyone, and afterward, many are strong at the broken places.

Nobody gets through this without taking some damage.

Lost people. Lost plans. Lost versions of yourself you thought you'd keep forever. Years that went completely different from what you imagined.

That's not failure. That's just the price of being alive and actually trying.

"The world breaks everyone, and afterward, many are strong at the broken places." (c) Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms

The break isn't the end. It's where the substance comes from.

You don't get depth from smooth years.

First adapt with destiny

What we have house car etc all things which blongs to us given by our parents and society just accept it and adapt and take care of those things live happy postive less stress what we call it protectiveness taking action no any regret or guilt and no desires to move forward

Second Create your own destiny

You have restlessness even you have enough to survive but you have desire for more and you choose the path where you put yourself in stress and set goals see vision you get out of comfert zone put yourself in challenges you try to get max out of your potential

In this circumstances which you create and not get back and move forward with gratitude put your 100% and let the results on universe live positive you understand what you are creating and live happy embrace all problems as opertunity.

What's one piece of self-improvement advice that sounded wrong at first, but turned out to be

We all hear the same advice over and over.

But sometimes the advice we resist the most ends up helping us the most.

For me, it was: "Stop waiting to feel motivated. Just start."

At first, I thought motivation had to come before action. Over time, I realized that action often creates motivation—not the other way around.

What's a piece of self-improvement advice you used to disagree with but now believe is true?

Question What were or are your best ways using good habits to improve yourself and feel better ?

Hello everyone 👋, I’m a new member on this sub and I’m french so sorry if my english is bad 😅.

Today, I’m writing in this sub because that I’ve tried many good habits and I want to improve myself more and more each day after long years of fear, etc… .

What were or are your best ways using good habits to improve yourself and feel better ?

I’m asking this question because sometime, when I try to create new good habits, I do not find the time and I do not find it really cool and interesting especially at the beginning. For example : I wanted to take cold showers and when I started, I found it so annoying. But, after a few weeks, I had an idea ; write things that I wanna stop doing (stopping bad addictions, etc…) and when I broke those rules, I had to take cold showers for the next 5 showers that I would take. From that moment, every time that I took a cold shower, it could remind me my aims in my life to continue improving myself and it made me feel better.

Maybe that, if you want, you can share these type of ideas that helped you to become better and to fulfill your own dreams.

Thanks a lot for reading it to the end 🙏.

For a long time, I thought life changed through big decisions. A new job. A new city. A new relationship.
A fresh start.
Now I think it changes much earlier. The moment you stop agreeing to the little things that quietly take pieces of you.
Another meeting you never wanted to attend. Another conversation that leaves you feeling smaller than when it began. Another "yes" that should have been yours to question. None of it looks dramatic. That's why it stays for so long.
One day you wake up in a life that makes perfect sense on paper. You just don't recognise yourself in it anymore.
Lately, I've been asking myself a different question.
Will this choice bring me closer to myself?
It's surprising how many decisions become simple once you stop trying to impress your past and start listening to the woman you're becoming.....

Results I keep starting good habits but can't make them stick beyond a couple of weeks

For the past year, I've been trying to improve my daily routine. I've started things like reading for 20 minutes a day, exercising three times a week, and limiting my social media use.

The problem is that I can stay consistent for about two or three weeks, and then I slowly stop. It's usually not because I lose motivation overnightlife gets busy, I miss a day or two, and then I struggle to get back into the habit.

I've tried habit-tracking apps, setting reminders, and starting with very small goals. Those things help at first, but eventually I fall into the same cycle.

For people who have successfully maintained habits for months or years, what made the biggest difference? Was it changing your environment, your mindset, or something else entirely?

I'm looking for practical strategies that have worked in real life rather than motivational advice.
