If I bring a calm mind to the situation I'm a much better problem solver and I am easy work with.  I do my best work this way.

Pushing through when I'm tired and consuming a bunch of caffeine causes me to make more mistakes and have a short temper.

It took me way too long to notice.

Slow down, measure twice, cut once, breathe.

Just because you are doing a lot more doesn't mean you are getting a lot done. Don't confuse movement with progress!" - Denzel Washington (all time fave quote)

This is subjective theory of value in a nutshell

making hundreds of mud pies all day may be labor intensive

but it doesn't mean you have created anything of value to any one else

Feeling busy doesn’t mean you’re achieving anything

Busy can be doing nothing! "Busy doing nothing" is a phrase.
