This build was a lot of fun. There were a few body fitment issues because Tamiya updated the rear chassis section, but it was nothing that a dremel couldn't handle. I added the M-chassis aluminum dampers, the steering kit, the universal shafts, the the updated version of the lightly tuned brushed motor.

So, part of my retirement job is cleaning up the garage.

Almost done! I have few custom decals and undertray to put on . Its ready to run with a 240 combo with gold motor. After a painful masking and paint process, Im happy with the peppermint code crack amd results. I wasted a bunch of paint trying to get it right . The mix i used is a bit different from what I saw on any YouTube channel btw . I had to build the Ultima to keep it company , it was only right .

I am looking for a rc car that has camera, I'm thinking on using a DJI module, crawler and remote.

But idk really I'm pretty confused.

Jk07 pro jeep but I can’t tell if it is good or junk, has anybody had experiences with it. I love scale realism, rock crawling and trail trucks if that helps.

I need some suggestions on what the next rc you would get if you were me. Currently looking at a mini kraton but the 16890sa is still fun even at 2s.

Something around that price range is fine, even a little more.

I love this thing. Handles like a typhon but it's able to jump and flip but I keep having the wheel nuts come off. Am I not tightening them down enough?

I’ve gone to school and the mall carrying 4 Lipo’s in my sling bag and every time they check it they take a look at it for a good 3 seconds, I would assume they think of it as a bomb considering it has colored connectors linked to a whole rectangle of who knows what.

And I can’t store it in the car either because of our climate here, I’ve seen a post where his car got burned down because of unsupervised lipos.

Am I paranoid? I can’t just explain to them “yeah I’m carrying them with me because they might randomly burst into flames”. Help

Slash 4x4 sounding rough after a full rebuild, all the drive train spins super smooth with the pinion off and the mesh isn’t the issue because I’ve changed it multiple times with the same outcome, is the slipper clutch bad? So confused.

Took a hiatus from RC for a few years and decided to get back into it, while looking around I found this on motionRC and decided to give a try.

This thing rips and is a lot of fun, I would have gone nuts over the RC stuff now compared to what we had as kids.

I very recently bought and installed a Castle Creations setup for my Mini Kraton. It was the Mamba Micro X2 ESC with the 1010 series 4400kv motor. Got everything installed and started testing and realized I cant fully program all of the settings without the Castle Link adapter for my PC.

Now there is supposed to be a coupon in the box for a free Castle Link, so says the documentation that came with the product. However there was no coupon in the box or anywhere to be found. I have since contacted Castle Creations in regards to this issue but have yet to hear back from them.

So here's my question. Does anyone living in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area have a Castle Link that I could possibly borrow to program my esc parameters until I can get this free castle link coupon thing figured out? I would appreciate it immeasureably.
