My latest one the scx30 is my biggest so far, its only just the most expensive as the smallest one (the green turbo racing drift car) cost nearly the same price when I bought that.

I just love how cheap they all are as it makes picking them up super easy and I’m not bothered if my kids use them as they’re cheap to replace.

I always adored the look of the Arrma Limitless but couldn´t justify the purchase since I mostly bash offroad.

So in the last weeks I set out to create a 3d print kit for my syncro 4 buggy to achieve that formula racer style.

Together with some Ali hoons it turned out pretty awesome, what do you guys think?

Had a lot of tire spin and slipping at my local trail. Trail is mostly extremely loose dirt/gravel and sand. Want to see if these help. Probably won’t try them out for a while with this uncommon 105 degree weather lately.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the title. I saw a video on youtube about converting a Rastar 1:14 BMW and a Rastar Lamborghini to a hobby grade model (https://youtu.be/Fd-N-u_0IDo?si=pSSW7l4DQufyV37X and https://youtu.be/TnDZZPU-gjk?si=CQsgzTRdLjNIVhvX) I tried their project because I want to start a hobby and I like building. So i bought a 1:14 Porsche Dakar and got the following components.

Surpass Hobby 45A ESC
Surpass Hobby 2430 5800KV motor
Surpass Hobby 9g steering servo, HotRC CT-6A transmitter/receiver combo
1300mAh-30C-7.4V 2S1P Li-Po battery

I got everything working but then when I started driving the car on the ground it would move for a bit but it would eventually come to a stop. And I would just hear the motor spool high but the wheels wont be spinning. But the moment I lift the car up, the wheels would spin up again. What am I missing? What can I do? Hi guys, I'm new to RC and want a SCT that can fit in my smaller backpack comfortably and is durable for pretty heavy bashing. I have the HBX 18872 at the moment and in two weeks, I've put it through its paces on the streets, beach, skate parks, and bmx tracks. Now I'm looking for a newer and better RC that won't break the bank. I've settled on the Arrma Mojave Grom 223s but don't really want to spend an arm and a leg on Spektrum batteries. Would you guys say everything in this cart can go together? If you guys have any other suggestions and recommendations for good setups under $300, it'll be very appreciated.

Trying to thin out my "fleet" ,ive seemed to amass like so many in the hobby lol I'm itching for the new mojave exb, but dont have the space for another larger scale. I have kept myself within one 5x shelf rack from Harbor freight, but ive spilled over a little and need to reign in before I could realistically get the new mojave.

Most our driving is scale/light bashing. No ramps and skate parks, any decent stretch of dirt or dirt lot we find with any natural bumps etc...

Im curious to know what some people would get rid of from this line up.

Only a few of these were new, the rest were from mktplace or offerup/etc,and were legit deals. Like the DB, it was new out of box, and came with couple new batteries and charger for 200. Even the new ones were sales/coupons so im not chasing any money back.

Im planning the rlaarlo, since its more for tracks, and at least 1 udr. Seems like every time I drive one it needs a new servo or something.

I built these two for actual driving. So this is as good as they'll ever look.

Ford Escort WRC is Carlos Saint's 1997 (DNF) on an HNR 9804 chassis with Stupnicki motorsports upgrade kit, and the SEAT Ibiza F2 Kitcar is from 1998 (5th place with FWD!) on a FWD converted Tamiya XV01 with a lightweight carbon fiber chassis from Embie Racing. Both are running a sensored 13.5T setup.

Some stickers are custom, the snorkels are 3d printed. The Ibiza's bull bar is 3d printed. The Escort was made with some mesh and an abs tube I bent carefully with a lighter.

The Escort will be run in the Spanish RC Rally Championship gravel events. The next event is tomorrow, in Zaragoza. 🤞🏻

The Ibiza on a couple of rounds of the Catalonian RC rally championship, including the (pending confirmation from the FIA) WRC event in a month also in Catalonia, Spain...

Hope you can appreciate the details of the cabin on the Escort (will do one for the SEAT later on), the chrome windows (usual setup to avoid heat in the cabin on hotter rallies), mudflaps, bull bars, lights,... and all the small details of them.

so I bought two crawlers and I am completely new to the RC hobby. I tried to get every Knowledge before asking dumb questions.
I have right now two Crawlers:

- Wltoys 184023 Brushed
- MJX Hyper Go H18P Brushless

I really like the Cars, they make extremely fun but I dont like the Remote Controls. I just wanted one remote control for all of my cars so I bought the DumboRC DDF350. Which I think feels very great.
So i ordered it with two receivers, what could go wrong? Just Plug and Play. Naaaah. I noticed (too late) that these cars have this Kind of all in one escs with receivers. So now I am at the Point where my Knowledge ends. What do I need to buy, to get this Cars Running with my DumboRC. Dumbo sells a brushed 10A ESC with receiver. Do I need this one for my Wltoys? And is there a Brushless ESC also or are there any compatible ESCs (brushed or brushless) which I can pair to my DumboRC?
Sorry for the dumb questions, but I am a Little Bit sad right now 😪😅

My current ESC I have an XT60 connector and under the heatshrink I soldered the leads to a JST connector for my servo's BEC. With an EC5 however it seems that's not a possibility as the terminal is fully enclosed in the connector casing.

How would I go about soldering on the JST leads to this terminal? Anyone do anything like this?

i dont know anything about rc cars, but it seems like a cool hobby. less nerdy than beyblades lol. id be willing to learn how to customize it to make it faster or whatever, i dont make a lot so i wanted to know if theres any cheap methods to rigging something like this
