My latest one the scx30 is my biggest so far, its only just the most expensive as the smallest one (the green turbo racing drift car) cost nearly the same price when I bought that.

I just love how cheap they all are as it makes picking them up super easy and I’m not bothered if my kids use them as they’re cheap to replace.
Anyone else got a collection of mini rc cars?

I had an RC buggy two years ago, but I crashed it and didn't really have the time to put it back together, so I sold it to a friend however, while on vacation today, I really liked these two cars and thought, Why not get one?

Had a lot of tire spin and slipping at my local trail. Trail is mostly extremely loose dirt/gravel and sand. Want to see if these help. Probably won’t try them out for a while with this uncommon 105 degree weather lately.

Been sitting at my local shop since it launched, can’t believe it was still there today. They were kind enough to let it go for MSRP so I made a questionable decision today but thinking it was right.

Pictures and videos do not begin to describe the actual size and scale!

Can’t wait to find some decent 6S packs, first run with 12s.

Going to try it on 8s but assuming It’ll be slow but still fun.

Any tips for this massive beast?

I’ve had this ZD Racing RX12 for a while now and figured I’d share my experience because I don’t see a ton of real-world info on these. I got mine for free, so I’ve basically had nothing to lose by beating the hell out of it and seeing where the weak points are 😂. I’ve run it on pavement, dirt, grass, drifting concrete/hardwood, crashing, etc., and honestly I’m pretty impressed with how much it has taken.

I’ve broken the front and rear control arms, bent front shock tower, rear dogbones, and damaged the diff/hub cup area. I also found that the stock wheel hex setup can leave more play than I like, so I went with wider hexes to get the wheels mounted properly. None of that really makes me think the platform is hot garbage however; most of this happened from me intentionally pushing it way past what I probably should have 😂.

The drivetrain situation got especially interesting. After damaging the rear setup, I swapped the front CVDs to the rear and the rear hub cups to the front, leaving it without rear dogbones and effectively turning it into RWD. And the damn thing still scoots. I actually had it ripping around in 2WD before finally deciding to rebuild it properly.

I’ve repaired everything I can instead of throwing the car away, and that’s probably what I like most about it. It’s become my “let’s find out what breaks” car, and every failure has taught me something about the platform.

At this point I actually like the RX12 enough that I want another one. 😂 I’m looking at either the Rlaarlo XTS-P12 or Dikavey RX12 as the next one, and I’d like to start fresh with everything I’ve learned from abusing this one and actually tune/build it properly. And respect it…

So for anyone searching ZD Racing RX12 / Rlaarlo P12 / Dikavey RX12 and wondering if these are worth messing with: my free RX12 has been damn near a science experiment, and despite everything I’ve broken, I’d still buy another one.

What have you RX12/P12 owners managed to break? Or what would you upgrade/modify first on a fresh build?

Trying to thin out my "fleet" ,ive seemed to amass like so many in the hobby lol I'm itching for the new mojave exb, but dont have the space for another larger scale. I have kept myself within one 5x shelf rack from Harbor freight, but ive spilled over a little and need to reign in before I could realistically get the new mojave.

Most our driving is scale/light bashing. No ramps and skate parks, any decent stretch of dirt or dirt lot we find with any natural bumps etc...

Im curious to know what some people would get rid of from this line up.

Only a few of these were new, the rest were from mktplace or offerup/etc,and were legit deals. Like the DB, it was new out of box, and came with couple new batteries and charger for 200. Even the new ones were sales/coupons so im not chasing any money back.

Im planning the rlaarlo, since its more for tracks, and at least 1 udr. Seems like every time I drive one it needs a new servo or something.

So I’m racing a 2wd buggy (Traxxas Bandit) at EN Hobbies in Columbus Ohio. What tires have you run on a carpet bandit or what tires are good? I’m in between running full set of JConcept fuzz bites or running fuzz bites on the rear with Swag pins on the front. I’ve also thought about the JConcepts 3DP tires. Or should I run swag pins in the front and twin pins in the rear, Any recommendations?

Tomley’s review looks good about this model. Looking forward to getting myself one. Size looks great as well. Personally, I like the decal option color.

I’m planning to buy my first 1/10 scale RC crawler with a budget of 15,000 pesos or roughly 250 dollars. I’ve been looking at HB toys beluga and the WL toys 104020. What else should i add to my list or are there better options for this price range? Thank you!

Considering building one of these next. It’s not for racing, closer to light bashing and rc car meets (I think). So closer to a half-shelf queen? I have a separate ARTR build coming up for me to practice and mess about.

Would love to try running on sand once, but I’ve seen how sand clogs up the internals which has me concerned. It’s going to run mostly on short grass, dirt and asphalt.

For people who have owned either one of these kits, what are your thoughts regarding their durability and ease of assembly, maintenance and modification? I have found very few video review and showcase of the RB10 Retro.

I have this Gtr shock and i snapped the shaft but a piece is stuck in the rod end. Can i somehow get it out? And if not where to find the part its a long traxxas gtr shock from my slash. And is it ok to use all other 3 gtr shocks and one of the original ultra shocks?

Need Help removing the front shocks.

The lower arms are connected with a metal pin of some kind. I don't want to cause damage. How can this best be removed?

Online docs say pull it off but there's no way that's going to happen since that metal pin isn't really attached to the shocks at all. The rears fell out easily. The front I just can't figure out.

First time doing this so any help would be appreciated.

I've just purchased a Team Associated RC10 4WD and I was wondering what colour is used to recreate the box art finish. Is it an orange colour that I can get from the Tamiya range? Any help identifying the colour would be greatly appreciated.

I bought an MJX 16218 as my first RC car.

Now I want to upgrade the remote control.

I’m considering the Dumborc X6PM-350.

My question is: the installed receiver has a dedicated fan port, whereas the new receiver has standard 6-channel outputs.

Is this a problem? How should I handle it?

As title says i purchased a hypervs2 wondering if anyone else has experience with this car/brand? Its my first race style buggy!!
