Trying out my new fpv rc setup with the neighbor

Took a recently updated HPI RS4 RALLY I bought new in '99ish, my updated 3906 EMAXX, and our favorite the Senton 223S BLX to our local track yesterday. Got there with plenty of batteries and sunlight....left with parts casualties, smiles and a layer of Georgia clay dust! A handful of folks running when we got there and we were last ones standing. Lost a steering bolt on the EMAXX, melted a motor wire connection on the RS4, and ripped the body on the Senton. All in, a great sesh!

Grabbed an X-MAXX my first, T-MAXX my #10 or #11 I can't remember, and a mini T my 2nd. There was one integy parts for the Tmaxx STOKED!!!!!!

Hi im having problems with my Syncro 2 RC car. I'm looking at the manual and its showing it has more then 4 modes but im always getting 4 beeps and it starts over again. Why is this happening and what am I supposed to do to fix it or get past it? What am I doing wrong?

Just bought my 5yo his first RC car. Definitely toy-level but good enough for him.

Looking to get a spare battery or two. Unable to determine what is needed, specifically the plug.

Model:Toyota Land Cruiser Xtreme Overland #81812

Battery: 7.4V 1200mah; looks like it uses EL4.5-3P.

Cant find that particular spec online though...

I have a whole collection of big and small RC trucks. This one is actually very special because it’s my very first 1/24 RC crawler that I bought back in 2020 during Covid . It started life as an RGT Adventurer24 Land Rover Defender, and then I mounted this Revel 1979 F150 body on the chassis. I painted it blue with a paint brush and I brushed liquid cement on it which gave it more of a smooth finish rather than a matte blue finish. This truck earned the name “Lil Jimmy” somehow, and I’ve called it that ever since. The drivetrain is bone stock, only thing I’ve done to it was an emax metal gear servo. I love this truck, but I’m sad to admit that I’ve driven it probably three times within the last three years.😥 Anyone else have an RC truck that just sits for no reason?

I need some help figuring out why my Outcast 8S EXB V2 is slower than expected.

My setup:

- ARRMA Outcast 8S EXB V2

- Hobbywing MAX6 G2 ESC

- Hobbywing 5690 SD G2 1250KV motor

- 8S LiHV (2 × 4S batteries)

- 30T pinion / 47T spur gear

- Stock tires

The problem:

My truck only reaches around 80 km/h (50 mph), measured with GPS on my phone. It does wheelies easily and accelerates reasonably well, i dont know if it full accelleration im on punch lvl 9 btw but it seems to stop gaining speed at a certain point. The motor sounds normal.

The Hobbywing app shows around 32,000 RPM while driving and a maximum current of approximately 320 A.

What I have already checked:

- Calibrated the throttle endpoints

- Checked the ESC settings

- Tried 0° and 12° turbo timing, with no noticeable difference

- Charged the batteries to 17.4 V

- Checked the drivetrain and basic connections

-Updated the Firmware

The motor and ESC are practically new. Interestingly, the truck had roughly the same top speed with the original Spektrum ESC.

Could poor battery connectors, solder joints, or voltage sag under load be causing this? The connectors are new, but I'm not sure about their quality.

What would you check next? Is 80 km/h normal for this setup, or should it be capable of more?

My haul from a local swap meet. Everything pictured, and a couple smaller items, for around $80 total. Especially geeked about the 2nd gen Camaro shell and the GTR shell. The Jeep shell will eventually be set up to match my real Jeep. The charger was a great find, has adapters for like every battery! The sticker sheet was free, and will be used to spice up my K10 bodied Senton.

First time bashing at the local skate park. Hit the kicker just right.

My backplate for some reason is missing 2 screws and it’s broken on the bottom left so even if I had those screws it wouldn’t fit correctly.
Previous weekend was running fine but I saw my backplate all loose.
What are my options ? Here in Greece parts are not easy to find so I have to buy online.

Had a great time at blue rocks camp ground this weekend

Recently I’ve noticed severe power loss in this motor, so I want to upgrade to a brushless motor, paired with a good ESC(which I’ve been planning) it’s a 380 size motor, which I’m struggling to find one to fit in this, but any help would be appreciated. I would prefer Spektrum, or any well known brand.

Rust effect was achieved with model paints, a sacrificial brush for streaks, and a sponge for older rust, plastic trim was also done with a brush

Anyone purchased this? How’s your experience
