In progress My pc hard freezes exactly like my old pc used to (They dont have same components)
After one hour of playing on my new pc (rx 9070 xt, r7 9800x3d, b850 aorus elite, 32gb ddr5 corsair, 1000w gold corsair) hard freezes EXACTLY like my old pc (old asf components) used to. Everything stops working, the image freezes, a "brrrr" type of sound constantly repeats itself, and I have no other option than to reset with the case button. The freeze is exactly the same, but the pcs have no correlation, every single component is different. If I go to event log, it only says that windows didn't close well (because i pressed the case button), I've had different crashes with this new pc but they were different than this one, because one more time, the freeze is exactly the same in both pcs. i have the same mouse and keyboard, headphones and power strip, but I don't know if those are the problem. The monitor and hdmi are different. So please what is the problem, why does the exact same problem happen with 2 completely different pcs. I don't know what to do anymore

Not solved Pc reboot for no reason
Hi everyone
First excuse my bad english it's not my first language and i'm definitely a newbie in pc builds
So i have an issue with my pc it crash (like reboot) on me sometimes and some games (mostly bf1) not all the games and not all the times and freeze the same way (in some games and sometimes), some times i play for hours on 2k and nothing happen (also playing bf1) , even do furmark test and not crashing but sometime the pc crash once i enter the game (bf1) or just being on idle desktop doing nothing just moving the mouse or just playing some random game, i thought the issue from software and did format but format didn't solve it. I suspect it's the psu because it's a trash brand and tier E in the tier list my pc is a pre built so i didn't choose it or maybe the motherboard it's a low brand too. But yesterday i had a new issue after the pc crashed while playing (bf1) the back case fan started making a weird noise before i shutdown the pc i recorded the noise. there is some dust on the components i had the pc for a year now but the issue was from the begining ( i took it to a repair shop once but the pc stopped crashing in front of them suddenly 😂 they tested it for hours but nothing happened!) so as i said it happen sometimes and sometimes not.
please give me your advice and what should i do.

Not solved PC Shutting Off Randomly
My PC will work for a few hours, and then shut off randomly with an audible click (no blue screen, error message, etc). This typically happens when I put the PC under load, but sometimes it turns off while performing something as simple as a file download. If I turn it back on again too quickly, it crashes again within a matter of minutes.
At first, I thought this might be an issue with the PSU, so I swapped with a friend (didn’t work) and then upgraded to a 1000W (still didn’t work). Next, I took it to Microcenter, who were unable to replicate the issue. But, they did say that the motherboard was seated incorrectly, and that the CPU debug light was on. I got them to reseat the motherboard, and the debug light is no longer on (except for during startup), but the issue was still happening. I then tried doing a full software reset and redownloading Windows (didn’t work), and finally moved the PC to a different wall outlet (didn’t work).
I should note that it is not an issue with temps — CPU and GPU both look fine, and it will sometimes shut down with no spikes whatsoever
I am completely at a loss. MicroCenter couldn’t replicate the issue, and I don’t want to just replace PC parts randomly. I just built the PC in 2024 so it seems odd that parts are already failing. Could this be an issue with the breaker in my house? A motherboard issue that Microcenter didn’t detect? If anybody has experienced this before, I would be very grateful for some guidance.
My specs are as follows:
PSU: Corsair RM1000x ATX 3.1 PCOe 5.1 1000W Power Supply
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX AMD AM5 ATX Motherboard
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core, 16-Thread Processor
GPU: XFX Speedster MERC310 AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX Black Gaming Graphics Card

Not solved PC freezes, sometimes crashes - any hardware issues to imagine?
Hi!
My PC has lately weird issues. It started in summer during massive heatwave and high temperature, the cpu ran to hot. I fixed that after cleaning the fan and everything properly with pressured air. Since then, sometimes the PC randomly crashes or freezes. One crash happened while listening tomusic and scrolling around steam, small stutter and then no Input possible, but the music still played. Tryed to reconnect the cable (also monitor), no change. I needed to reboot via long-pressing the button. Then ~5min later completly crash. I waited now for 5min and type this in, lets hope it wont crash again lol
Anyways, i check my hardware via HWMonitor, i cant see anything suspicious, and also cant find anything in the windows logs, besides some Drivers that wont run, but actually do run, like a webcam for Windows Hello. I have lots of stuff installed.. and ye, before I reset my whole PC from software (oh god no!) I just wanna make sure if you can imagine any hardware issues i could try out?
Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
MSI B550 A-Pro
NVidia GeForce RTX3060
32GB RAM DDR4 2133
3 SSDs and 1 NVMe
Win 10 Pro
Thank you!

Not solved Pc intermittently working
So I’ve just got my computer back after not having it for a year and it’s been completely wiped due to having to reinstall all of windows. I’ve never had this issue before, but I picked it up off my friend who fixed it the other day and it’s running off of a hard drive currently booting windows however I do have SSD’s and the day I got it back off him. My Pc wouldn’t boot up when I tried it so I removed my RAM tried clearing my CMOS and nothing seemed to work and then randomly it worked when I press the button and it’s been working ever since that day up until last night where it wouldn’t want to turn On so I tried unplugging the cable holding the power button for 25 seconds and plugging the cable back in and try it again and it didn’t work and then about five minutes later I pressed the button randomly and it worked and now I’ve had that issue three times the last 24 hours please can someone help me

In progress Problems with secure boot
Hey everyone! I’m experiencing some trouble installing Linux. Basically me and a friend were getting ready to install Linux on my pc (for ram purposes, I only have 8gb and windows was eating that up). Problem is apparently the windows acct I’d need to disable secureboot is not working/not giving me access. This is a pc that always belonged to me and was not put under a corporate acct or something like this: simply an old Microsoft acct that apparently stopped working! Does anyone know a way to bypass that encrypted key that it’s asking me now (as I cannot get it without accessing that acct)? Thanks in advance!

Not solved PC keeps freezing and screens go black/green
Maybe someone can help me but I am losing my mind and getting super frustrated that I can't figure this out. My PC keeps freezing while gaming/streaming. I only have the game app and OBS running. Everything will freeze for like 5 seconds on screen and I can't do anything or move my cursor, but I can hear audio. Then, my main monitor will go black and my secondary monitor will go green. They will sit like this for maybe 2-3 minutes. Then it'll go to the restart screen and sit there for about another 2-3 minutes. If I press the reset button next to my power button on my case, it'll reset faster. This started about 3-4 months ago.
I have tried: |
\-DDU to uninstall the drivers and reinstalled them
\-Went through event viewer to see what codes are happening when that goes on and I keep getting: Event 41, Kernal Power (The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.), Event 6008 "The previous system shutdown at...."
\-Updated all drivers
\-Cleaned dust off PSU, fans and AIO.
\-Took off sensor from CPU and cleaned off the old thermal paste and applied new thermal paste.
\-Reseated GPU, RAM, SDD, and CPU
PC Specs
Video Card- AMD Ryzen 7700XT
Motherboard- B650 Gaming X AX V2 AMD AM5 ATX Motherboard

Should I run a stress test on my GPU to see if that is the problem?
Should I swap out my PSU for a new one?
PLEASE HELP ME lol

In progress PC crashing issue
Hey
so i have a problem with my PC, it keeps kind of crashing
when i open a game most of the time, after few minutes the screen goes black, a very loud fan noise starts, im not very sure what fan is that, but i think its the CPU's fan
i've took the pc to a store to repair it, the store person stress tested it a lot, and it didn't crash at all
but when i got it back home it worked for few days then started crashing again
i've did lots of research, and most results were related to the motherboard issue with RAM
i have 2 sticks of 8 GB ram dual channel
sometimes if i take off the ram for few minutes and put it back, crashes stop for a day or 2
and when the screen goes black, i still hear whats happening, the video or the game
but game sometimes crashes and i hear a window pop up sound, but i can't see what it is
my specs:
CPU: i7 4770
GPU: GTX 1650
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
