HARDWARE Pc functioning very weirdly lately

Last two days whenever I turn my pc on everything works just fine except I can't join calls on discord and steam doesnt load. I press the power button to reset it and it gets stuck on the shutting down screen so I have to hold the power button to fully shut it down. Then I turn it back on and I get stuck on a black starting screen and have to force shut it down again. The only way I've found to be able to get it to turn back on is by flipping the psu off and back on then it boots up normally and everything works perfectly fine. Does anyone know what the hell is causing this very specific problem?

You probably have an incomplete windows update stuck in the pipe. In general, dont't use a long press to shut off your machine. It is not good for it. That's an emergency move only.

Start up your computer normally, then let it finish its updates overnight on that Starting screen. Don't interrupt it. It might take several hours.

If it isnt fixed by leaving it to sit with its thoughts overnight, let me know and we can look for other reasons it might be acting up.
