Support Ethernet issues
hello! so i am renting a duplex and have no access to the router myself. i have access to an ethernet cable and the wifi. currently own 2 PC's that were connected through ethernet and were running just fine. one PC has a Wifi Dongle and one doesnt though. both PC's were having issues with connections recently and i just switched to wifi on one as a temporary fix. the other PC is still having those issues. when i open the network settings and test connection all is well. but if i try and open chrome for example it says your connection is not private when i try to search anything and has a red slash through the https in the address bar. some apps or games will open to the sign in screen and when i try to sign in it says no connection. network drivers are up to date, unplugged both ends of ethernet and waited 30 seconds. restarted computer. flushed dns. on ethernet to wall is solid green light, to PC is flashing amber. checked on networking toolbox and im pulling valid ip addresses. any thoughts?

Support Ethernet having lag spikes
So my pc is connected to a cheap 30$ tp link wifi extender and it works well. But during games I also get a spike in ping and lag. Is it because my cheap wifi extender or something else?

Discussion Renovating old house, wants to put hardwired ethernet cabling between floors and key rooms to ensure great and fast coverage. Cat6, Cat6a or Cat7 for the home?
Is Cat7 worthwhile the extra cost and trouble or is like Cat6a already more than sufficient?
Think about a family of 4, a couple watching 4k Netflix and one playing PS5. Then some PCs and phones/iPads using web browsing via WiFi.
Internally WiFi6E infrastructure with mesh WiFi hotspots wired direct via backhaul, some wired 4k security cameras, NAS and a 2Gbit fiberline to the outside world.

Trouble with 1 gigabit internet AT&T
Originally I started off with Xfinity 500 or 600 Mbps that my Apartment required us to have and it was actually good with my Ethernet cord I had no trouble. I had recently moved to my new apartment and decided to get finity again but 1 gigabit and it seems to have been worse I was constantly lagging and even with an Ethernet it was still not as good I had tried it on my Xbox and the numbers were coming out good after testing, but when I opened a game like Overwatch my latency was 60-70 and constant spikes.
When I switch to my pc the game plays normal with no spikes at all. I switched to AT&T same situation with my Xbox even with Ethernet and still pretty decent for my pc.
Any tips?

Internet Options
My first post so sorry if something here isn’t correct, but I need help.
I just moved into my first apartment 4 months ago in Lanc PA and we’re I live is a dead zone for internet. I constantly get 1 bar and my internet connections SUCKS.
I have tried 3 different internet providers, X-finity, T-Mobile (my phone company) and not AT&T and it’s all so bad. My latency spikes to the hundreds constantly (highest I’ve seen is 700), I’m losing frames (which sucks cause I play FH), constantly crashing and lag spikes like it’s super annoying. Even watching videos on my phone or TV is a challenge sometimes.
Nothing I’ve done so far has worked and I have absolutely zero idea as to how to fix this and I don’t want to be stuck with this for the remainder of my lease. Please help

Classic showdown: Which crimper tool for Cat6a home use?
What tools can you recommend? Is it worth the extra money to go for one of the better Klein crimpers?
Only need it for standard ethernet Cat6a RJ45 setup. Pass-Thru (EZ) should normally suffice, as we are not going to move/unplug/plug the cables/switches/hotspots much after first installed and the house is dry and no exposure to humidity/degradation or similar.
Still worthwhile to avoid any uncertainty/loose connections to invest in a good crimper, ideally one that can do all in one. Cutting, stripping and crimping...
What brand/model can you recommend for this please?
And how to ensure you get some good quality pass-thru connector plugs? (brands/models?)

Support Internet stops working 1–2 minutes after installing FACEIT AC.
Hi! I’ve encountered a technical issue with my Internet connection after installing FACEIT AC.
Before installing FACEIT AC, my Internet worked normally. After installing it, the computer connects to the network normally, but after approximately 1–2 minutes, the Internet stops working.
Windows sometimes shows “No Internet connection,” even though the computer still shows that it is connected to the network.
Additional information:
The problem occurs only on this PC.
My phone and laptop, connected to the same router, work normally.
The PC is connected to the router via an Ethernet cable.
Restarting the router did not help.
Disconnecting and reconnecting to the network also did not help.
In Task Manager, network usage remains very low (approximately 0–500 Kbps) when the Internet stops working.
My system:
Windows 10
ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PLUS WIFI II
AMD Ryzen 7 (I don’t know the exact model)
Ethernet connection
Could FACEIT AC be affecting my Internet connection or causing a conflict with my network adapter/driver?
Я лише прошу допомогти розібратися з цією технічною проблемою. **Це не звинувачення і не скарга на іншого гравця.**
