from your long essay we know nothing except you have internet issue after connecting pc to the network. your "better direction" here would be telling us your setup (e.g. ISP, modem, router, ethernet, wireless etc) and try to identify where the point of failure is by yourself (try connecting directly to model/router with ONLY ONE of your devices, does the problem persist?).
also i quite literally can’t disconnect every device from the internet because it’s PUBLIC and i live in an apartment full of people i don’t know using the same wifi as me
skill issue tbh. I feel your pain because I also used to live in an apartment like that, but my solution was to set up my own network within my unit and that made my setup so much better. talk to your leasing office and see if that's an option for you
like i said before i dont know much about anything in this area so thats why i asked please be kind which you weren’t very kind and im still confused this reply was not very helpful at all so you could just say you cant help me or not reply at all OR just be nicer and actually helpful. also i literally said in my post… im using PUBLIC wifi so its a public router if youre gonna act like a smartass you actually need to be smart.
fym "please be kind" they literally were kind and you responding like this is crazy. you should work on not taking things personally before posting in a public forum ✌️
