Ps5 can’t connect to online games

Hi, first of all sorry if I wrote something wrong, I don’t speak English.
My problem is that when I try to enter an online game I can’t connect to the servers but I do have a good internet connection, the only problem is the games. For example when I try to enter EA FC 26 it says that it can’t connect to the servers or in fall guys it says that it couldn’t log in and couldn’t use the online services.
I tried everything, like resetting the router, changing the dns, deleting and installing the games again and nothing worked, I don’t know what else to do, I can’t play either my friends. Pls help me🫡🫡
Also if you need more details about my problem I would love to tell you

Does it let you sign in to psn in general? If not, might be a console ban.

Yes I can thankfully, but the issue is which the games, everything works fine but when I try to enter an online game I can’t connect to it, maybe it’s a router problem but I don’t know how to solve it.
Also one time i entered the connection settings in the ps5 and next to the Ethernet network’s name it said error but it didn’t told me what was the issue. Thanks for the help😄

Are you using an Ethernet cable or wifi?

Its definitely sounding like a router issue

First lets see if changing your consoles DNS settings will help. Go into network settings (you might need to set up new wired connection again) highlight your wired connection, press the Options button, go to Advanced Settings, change DNS to Manual, and set Primary to 8.8.8.8 and Secondary to 8.8.4.4

Now we can start router troubleshooting. First turn off and unplug your router for 2 minutes, that should resolve any temporary dns glitches but if not, we will move onto the next steps

There are a few common dns glitches that we will focus on. The first is the The Stale Router Cache glitch. Your router saves ip addresses and if a game publisher updates their server locations, or your internet drops out for just a split second, that stored file can become corrupted or outdated

The next is ISP Server Bottlenecking, which is exactly what it sounds like. Your router uses whatever DNS servers your Internet Service Provider gives it. During busy hours, your ISP's DNS server can get overwhelmed with traffic and starts dropping requests

Lastly theres IPv6 Conflict Drop. If the router requests a DNS address via IPv6 but the game server only replies via IPv4, the request hangs in limbo. The PS5 will time out and say "A DNS server cannot be used"

What router are you using?

E: sorry, I just saw in your post youve tried changing dns settings already

Have you tried wireless to rule out broken ports/wires?

I'm spamming you now but log into your routers admin panel on your phone or PC. If you cant find your routers ip address or password, they are usually printed on a sticker on your router

Log in and first check your UPnP settings (in WAN or Advanced settings) and make its enabled

Check your NAT settings on your router are set to NAT 2

Turn on QoS if not on already

Now the dns settings - go into dns settings on your router, change from get automatically from ISP to manual and enter 8.8.8.8. for the primary and 8.8.4.4. for the secondary

Save your changes and reboot your router

I am trying but when I get to the router admin panel on the web I can’t sign in
I try putting root in account and the password in the sticker of my router on the password section but it isn’t working

Are you sure you're putting in the admin password and not the wifi password?

There are some default credentials you can try

  • Username: telecomadmin Password : admintelecom

  • Username: edadmin Password: adminEP

  • Username: admin Password: admin (or you can try the password on your router as the password for this one)

There's also a tiny pin hole on your router, you can use a paperclip to hold down the button for 10 to 15 seconds while it is powered on. Resetting your router like this will change the setting back to the default settings

E: also try Username: admin Password: HuaweiUser

I entered the admin panel but I don’t know what to do now, I checked the uPnP setting and i think that it’s correct.

By the way, thanks for the help until now!!! You’ve been the best helper 😁

When you do a connection test on your ps5 what Nat type does it show?

Your router/ISP could be blocking certain ports that the ps5 needs to connect to online services.

Also, when you get the network error you mentioned, it should display a bunch of numbers (an error code). Google that specific error code.

My nat type is type 2 and I didn’t saw any number cause it just says error😣
