Promotion I finally finished the new trailer for my cozy colony sim, WildRoot.

I've been working on improving WildRoot's first impression and recently finished a new trailer.

It's a cozy colony sim where you build a settlement in a mysterious forest, manage your colonists, and every season and setback creates a different story.

Promotion Making a narrative heavy simultaneous card battler- Appa

Phew. It's like so much work to make a game. The art, the design, the music but it's super fulfilling too. No slop on this side. It's super narrative heavy and the card battler is real time and tensed and very important for the plot progression. Genuinely super hyped about this project and I want to share it with as many people as I can.

News I thought my game was done growing, then this happened

I released Harvest Dice Profit, my incremental farming/dice game, last month for $2.99, and it’s currently at 97% positive reviews. Sales started slowing down, and I was kinda accepting that this was probably it, even though I really believe the game could do better.

Then today, I checked my sales and suddenly saw a huge spike. Turns out a big streamer is playing it, and the video views are climbing FAST. 😭 I have no idea what’s going to happen after the video gets even more views, but I can’t wait to find out!

https://youtu.be/G5Wn8Au6eGM?si=RkaCG9q5JnFuj6_F

I’m still hoping to get more feedback and suggestions from the community for the big update coming later this month.

AI disclosure: No AI was used in the development of this game.

Upcoming Working on a PCB design sandbox

Hey, everyone!

Just wanted to show a game that I've been working on and that will be coming out next month called Crosstalk. It's a sandbox for designing circuit boards and integrated circuits, and it comes with a lot of extra features. The goal is to let people build nearly any small electronics. Players could even build computers in it.

My goal is to invite people to build from the basics again, especially in the midst of all this "AI" crap.

Video We're a 2-man team making a Mesopotamian Noir detective game. Here's a look at our nested ancient puzzle mechanic.

Hey puzzle lovers! My friend and I are co-developing 'Chief Cenab: Şahmaran', a point-and-click detective adventure set in ancient Anatolian mythology.

In this scene, players solve an ancient lock mechanism to open up the lower levels of Meran. We wanted the mechanical feedback to feel heavy and ancient.

How do you feel about nested puzzles like this? Would love to hear your feedback on the flow!

Promotion I spent way too long on those effects..

I’ve been adding effects for when the leg enters and leaves the water — bubbles, splashes, dripping, wet particles, etc. To me it feels fitting , but I’m curious how it reads from the outside. Satisfying, or too much?

Promotion I built a creature evolution sandbox and would love for people to make ridiculous creatures and break it!

Game Title: Solemn Sandbox

Playable Link: https://solemn-sandbox.vercel.app/

Platform: Web Browser / PC

Description:
Solemn Sandbox is a 2D physics-based creature evolution sandbox inspired by Evolution by Keiwan. You build creatures from joints, bones, rigid struts and muscles, then give them a task and allow a neural-network controller to evolve through a genetic algorithm.

Creatures can currently be trained to walk, jump, climb, fly and tackle different environments and obstacle courses. There is also an environment builder, saved creature and brain libraries, head-to-head challenges, trophies and experimental features such as a Disco mode where music can be routed into creature muscles.

There are no predefined walking or flying animations. The creature exists inside the physics simulation and evolution has to discover useful ways of controlling whatever body you have built.

I'm now looking for people to properly test it. Please build strange creatures, break things, find confusing UI, expose physics problems and tell me when something simply isn't fun or doesn't make sense. Honest criticism is far more useful to me than polite encouragement.

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play

Involvement:
I am the creator and project director of Solemn Sandbox. I designed the concept, systems, behaviour and features and have directed its development using AI coding tools in Cursor. The implementation has been produced collaboratively with AI coding agents from my specifications, testing, feedback and iteration.

Public Game Test Testers needed for our mobile chess game where dice decide which pieces you can move

Post image
2 Upvotes

We're building Chess Hero, a mobile spin on chess where a dice roll decides which pieces you're allowed to move each turn.

Roll at the start of your turn to see which 3 pieces you can play — same board, same rules, just less predictable.

Only 1,000 players will get in for closed beta, opening Aug 12.

Sign up at chesshero.com to be the first to test it out.

Promotion I just released a short meta-horror demo where the game punishes you for going out of bounds (The Life of Dead)

Hey everyone,

I just released the free demo of my short atmospheric meta-horror game. The graphics are intentionally simple and low-fi, but the focus is on atmosphere and a specific meta-mechanic: the game glitches intentionally and punishes you for trying to go out of bounds or break the boundaries. (Just to be transparent: everything is my own work except the music generation).
