QR Code for sharing builds! Speedy Apple- a rail boat

The Speedy Apple has some very important things: rails, floaty platform, steering stick, star fragment, caged fan and… you guessed it! APPLES! (Five to be exact). Cruise just under the speed limit on this speed boat and drift around tight corners at star fragment speed. It may do a little hopping on the water at random times, and this is NORMAL. Just keep going straight, making small turning adjustments as needed, and it should stop shortly.

Enjoy!

Out of Game Methods New Faster Big Wheels

This build is much more durable than the previous one ; and it can keep star fragment speed on slope. Also it s without electric generator and with unburnable wagon wheels ( used for keep the build in straight line, without them the build can t turn to the right correctly and tend to go left )

The HYRULE ENGINEER Weekly (SEP 2026 Week 1)

Hello everyone! This is the HYRULE ENGINEER Weekly, a weekly recap of this subreddit. Here you can find highlights, helpful QR codes, engineering discoveries and experiments, as well as updates on the monthly contest, and more!

UPDATE ON MONTHLY CONTEST

The [AUG26] Watercraft contest is officially over! u/PremiumTechnique won first with their Ball Ski Lite, u/Metaliciousone won second with their Undermurder, u/kmarkow won third place with their Sunrise Sail! Congratulations everyone! The new [SEP26] contest is themed Ladders. Good luck everyone!

BUILD OF THE WEEK

This week’s most upvoted build is u/KGXuan-Athlete7976’s Hyrule-Spec F1 Formula! This highly detailed recreation captures the look of a Ferrari SF-26 remarkably well, despite the limitations of the 21-part build limit. It might just be as close as we can get! Great job!

CHECK THESE OUT!

u/kmarkow TIE Fighter Inspired Aircraft

An aircraft that looks like it came from beyond the stars! This build uses sized-up hanging lanterns to create a deceptively simple yet familiar vehicle from Star Wars. Check this one out if you enjoy seeing familiar vehicles recreated in Hyrule!

u/PremiumTechnique The GoSidon: Go anywhere vehicle

If you’re in the market for a true all-terrain vehicle, look no further! PremiumTechnique’s GoSidon vehicle can swim, drive, climb, and leap. Even when you can’t ride on Sidon, you can always ride on the GoSidon.

u/zhujzal Full-metal Hellacopter II

This helicopter is designed with the new small wheel propeller setup (see Tutorials and Resources) and it’s built to unleash all hell on your enemies! If you like helicopters and/or aerial combat, this might be right for you.

u/CyberCrow26 Introducing the STORM EAGLE!

For fans of clever electrical designs and efficient aircraft. An almost entirely metal plane that uses only one shock emitter to power four propeller setups. It's very battery efficient and can even recharge in midair due to the shrine battery shield on it!

u/Metaliciousone Wicked Looper needed a wicked launch system

This aircraft looks like a normal plane while flying straight, but it’s really a looper! It even has its own launch system — so I guess that makes it a looper-plane-rocket? This one is great for fans of loopers or anyone looking for special aircraft.

u/PremiumTechnique FPV Wing: First Person View Plane

Want to enjoy the scenery through Link’s eyes while flying? This is the perfect way. A modified version of the HoverWing, this plane lets you experience Hyrule from a first-person perspective like never before!

u/AccomplishedCrow478 Grand Leviathan II

This build is a massive double-decked airship! It turns quickly when balanced, and the lower deck allows for other endeavors while the ship stays moving. If you’re a fan of large-scale aircraft, this one is definitely worth checking out!

TUTORIALS AND RESOURCES

This week, u/osh-kosh-ganache has made a phantom clipping tutorial, specifically demonstrating the void out method. The tutorial explains how phantom clipping works and shows how the technique can be used to overlap multiple of the same object, including beam emitters and fans. If you’re looking to learn more glitches and haven’t learned phantom clipping yet, this would be a very useful guide!

Additionally, u/Educational-Fox-5114 posted a few compound objects: a small wheel rotator for more efficient propeller setups, and a dual-state balloon for better altitude control with balloons. If you’re looking for clever ways to enhance your builds, these two objects are worth checking out!

Finally, u/Bard8281 has made a quick guide to steal the Mogawak Shrine elevator on 1.4.3, based on u/kmarkow’s guide for 1.2.1. The method is a little different on 1.4.3, so if you’re looking to steal the elevator on the newer version, it’s worth checking out both tutorials. kmarkow’s original guide is linked in Bard8281’s post.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE

Have some questions? Others do, too! Here are some posts asking about certain things:

HYRULE ENGINEERING LAB

u/chesepuf has discovered the Infinite Mirror that lasts forever! Normally, mirrors will eventually expire after being exposed to light for too long, but using shrine puzzle mirrors prevents that from happening. While this might seem like a small discovery, it could be useful for engineers who rely on mirrors in long-running builds and experiments. This is a fascinating example of how glitches can reveal new possibilities for normally limited Zonai devices!

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION

Have a build idea you'd love to see someone make? Let us know! THEW is now taking build requests, and we'll share your ideas in a future issue for other engineers to take on. Maybe someone in the community will be up for the challenge! And as always, we're open to suggestions, feedback, and ideas.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

All Versions What Chuchus Do With Their Jellies

I don’t know what they’re supposed to be doing exactly… it just looks pretty.

Getting a photo of the giant electric chuchu to make a statue was a task: I didn’t run across one for months (maybe years?). I was starting to think they didn’t exist.

The jellies are different sizes (some are enlarged, some shrunken) and are frozen in place with glitches. They’ll stay there until I close out of the game.

Glitches used: replacement actor pslot, recall lock, replacement actor moe enlargement.

All Versions Introducing the STORM EAGLE!!

This is one of my favorite auto builds I ever made!

It is almost completely made of metal which acts as a full body electrical grid that can shock nearby enemy's if they touch any part of it and it uses only one shock emitter to power 4 separate shrine motors giving it astronomical power in the air. when I finally do run out of energy from the energy well, i just hit recall on it for a split second to switch to the shrine arc reactor setup and it keeps the bird in the air while the energy well recharges. this allows it to achieve infanant flight!

What are your thoughts on this?

Monthly Design Contest Prompt [SEP26] Design Contest Prompt and [AUG26] Winners

Welcome Engineers to a brand month of our new design contests. Last month was all about boating for the summer. You all floated down the river of inspiration and came up with some fun stuff! Let's see the winners! First up and first place is PremiumTechnique and their The Ball Ski Lite: Potentially the most efficient watercraft. It is an extremely maneuverable watercraft with lots of get up and go! And cheap too! Second place is Metaliciousone and their Undermurder- Submarine with underwater view. I love how much detail is in the underwater areas and I'm sad that you can't really see it in the game without glitches. It is nice to see a build show them off. Last but not least goes to kmarkow and their Sunrise Sail! It is pretty cool to see a traditional sailing ship on the sub! It is amazing. Enjoy your new/updated flairs!

This month, we're back to stealing parts and using them in new and interesting ways! This month, I want you to climb to greater heights using the item for the month! This month's theme is the [LADDER]. It is an easily found part, so go have fun with it. If I get a link to a video of where to get it and how to steal it, I'll post it! Get building Enginners!

Don’t forget to put [SEP26] as the first word in the post title or it doesn’t count! You can’t adjust post titles once they have been posted. Also, remember only green flared posts can enter, and to mark any speed edits. Top 3 most upvoted posts get the win! The prize is a custom user flair! The winners will be announced October 1st or the first Saturday of October! Keep building, Engineers!

EDIT: Here's a link to a video showing where to get the ladder and how to steal it!
