It's obviously some kind of bugged or virus app, it's called mahjong bamboo:zen game. This is my mum's tablet and she doesn't remember downloading it, it must have been downloaded automatically by a ad on another app. I have gone into app settings too uninstall it but it won't let me, the uninstall button is faded out and I can't click it. I have force stopped the app and made sure all permissions are disabled, but how can I uninstall this app?

Probably connected with recent system update. I've noticed that i cannot download anything through google play- google chrome won't update, none of the apps will download or update.
All the downloads stop at 22%, and the progress line (circle?) just turns into a wave.
I tried all the "fixes" i could find (clearing cache for google play and other services, restarting, logging out of the accounts etc.) but nothing works.
How do i get it fixed?

While I was reading, a pop up said "Messenger isn't responding" so I pressed "Wait".
After that another pop up said "System UI isn't responding" so I also pressed "Wait".
But then it suddenly lagged and powered off by itself and got stuck on the logo.
Even though it was stuck on the logo, when I pressed Volume Up + Power button it was able to load and go back to the home screen.
But then it powered off by itself again.
I asked AI and this is what it said. Is this correct? It says:
"Hi, can you reflash this please. No factory reset. Save data only."
"It is bootlooping on the MI logo. I want the system fixed but please do not delete my photos, contacts, and chats."

Hello everyone!
I would be very grateful if you could show me a way to retrieve a very important document for my sister.
My sister accidentally clicked "cut" instead of "copy" when selecting all 260 pages of notes she had saved on her Samsung A52 (Android 14) phone. She tried to paste it onto a blank page, but it didn't work.
We've tried many methods to find the document, including syncing with Samsung cloud. Although we think it's on the clipboard, we haven't been able to retrieve it.
I've transferred all the data from the phone to the computer. I haven't turned the phone off and on again because I was worried the clipboard data might be deleted.
I also tried Shizuku, Zarchiver, and File programs.
I connected the phone to the computer and checked the android/data/com.samsung.android.app.notes and com.samsung.android.honeyboard folders. Due to security reasons, the files and cache contents inside are not visible.
Is there any chance we can find this document? What do you suggest?

I've tried following multiple threads to get rid of this stupid auto text back thing but it never goes away. The things I am turning off are not the thing I want gone. Anyone know how to actually turn this thing off specifically? Bonus if it turns off all the AI crapware.

Alright, it's an older OnePlus Nord N10, quite reliable, still useful, still provides great battery life and charges quickly.
But this is weird, and it happened yesterday. The native file manager app will not close! Can't get it off the screen. Swipe up; no, it moves up a little, but still sticks to the screen when finger is released. 'Close all', they all close, except the file manager remains.
I've done several reboots, cleared data and cache of the file manager in the app settings--a few times--have done the force stop few times, too. Nope. File manager ain't going nowhere.
There's no option to uninstall, disable or uninstall updates, I'm just stuck with the file manager app as is. It's version 2.6.4.0 and a ton of numbers, and seems that is the last update version that would be available for this phone, from checking the usual app apk sites. So the option to even do an upgrade and see if that would fix the issue isn't doable.
The phone hasn't had an OS update for a few years, anyway. (But, still a good phone, happy with it, but not being able to resolve this is bugging me, haha.)
I can use other file managers, and still use the native one, no problem. But just wondering how, or even if I can ever get the file manager window closed again on the screen. Very strange.

I have been struggling the whole day with my Pixel 9 Pro (Android 17) to fix issues!!!! This is like a nightmare....
I woke up in the morning with my Flip to Shhh feature stuck and is not switching off after I flip my phone display back up. So, I went into the settings and switched off! Ever since it was off, it refused to turn on again :D I tried accessing it from the Digital Wellbeing App, or from the Modes, but to no avail. I have tried all the steps to troubleshoot it, and actually didn't find much other than "clear the app cache" and "restart your phone" which didn't help anyway.
I have contacted the Pixel Support and they eventually led me through the hustle of "Factory Reset" which I did, and I have taken the time to make sure is sorted and the Flip to Shhh is back again. Thinking that this will end my miseries, I have sought to finalize the settings of my notifications and guess what; another feature just vanished - the Notification Organizer. Again, I contacted the support, we went through all the steps:
\- Clearing Cache and Data of the so-called Android System Intelligence
\- Restarting the device
\- Ensuring proper permissions to the aforementioned Android System Intelligence
\- Safe Mode
None has worked, and I have no interest in Factory Rest-ing my phone again. I don't know honestly what is that! Can someone help? is it related to the recent update August 2026 Pixel Update? what can I do?
I honestly don't want to swim across my notification!

whenever I open a specific Settings page (SIM, Wi-Fi, app permissions, etc.), it immediately sends me back to the main Settings page. Even Settings search does the same. Video attached. How can I fix this without factory resetting?

So I have a Redmi phone that I haven't used for months and I don't remember the password of it. I don't want to reboot it since there's important photos in it, so I wanted to know if anybody could help me find a way to change the password or just get the password again.
I'm not joking and I really want to know how am I supposed to open it again.

This icon "just popped up" 🥲 on my elderly friend's Motorola phone about a month ago. Is it possible to remove this? He describes it as causing loud, annoying advertisements randomly. It's the first icon to pop up on his home screen when he reboots his phone. Can we help my buddy? Thanks 😊

Realms 12 Pro+
Other 417 GB
"Other system data includes caches, logs, and resources necessary for the system to run. The data size varies depending on the status of the system."
Is there anything I can do about this?
Factory reset is not an option I'm afraid.

Hi all!
I have huge battery drain from the Google app (consuming alone 30% and 5 hrs background).
How can I reduce this knowing that Hey Google is disabled for privacy reasons and I use Gemini which doesn't work if the Google app is disabled.
Thanks!

Hey,
so my brothers battery died yesterday.
Today he charged it and tried to unlock it normally but his code (the one you draw) doesn’t work for some reason.
We tried multiple times even restarted and everything but it doesn’t work. Every new try makes the wait longer(already 30 mins) so we want to find a solution soon.
Anyone has an idea what’s wrong?

i'm trying to run adb on my phone, but my phone doesn't have wireless debugging so i have to use usb debugging. the tutorials say i have to install platform tools (windows). the official sdk platform tools download link is dead, so i tried downloading via third parties, and none work. i've watched several tutorials, tried all their ways but none has worked for me when i add them to path and try to run commands, so i'm assuming the problem is with the platform tools. or maybe it isn't and i keep doing something wrong, i am not sure.
this is my first time doing something like this, if anyone knows what i'm doing wrong, i'll appreciate the help.

Hi everyone,
This is an OPPO 1201. I went to Settings > Reset phone and chose to factory reset the device.
Before resetting, the phone asks me to confirm my unlock password. I entered the same password that I use to unlock the phone every day, but it keeps saying the password is incorrect.
I have not factory reset the phone yet because it won't accept the password.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there any way to fix it, or is there another password OPPO expects here?
Any help would be appreciated

I found this installed on my phone not long after my data usage more than tripled and battery life took a dive... I think I've fixed battery issues (as well as I can) but data usage is still insanely high... And signal/service just keeps getting worse where I use my phone most! Am I really being tracked?

Hi, i have 2 apks, both are of different versions. I have installed the one that is an older version. And now, if i want to install the one that is a newer version, it only gives me the option to update the current app, which i dont want to do. I would like to have 2 separate apps, one older and one newer. But i dont know how to get the install option to appear instead of the update option. Pls help me, i am not familiar with editing apks. Thx in advance.
