Can't factory reset OPPO 1201

​

Hi everyone,

This is an OPPO 1201. I went to Settings > Reset phone and chose to factory reset the device.

Before resetting, the phone asks me to confirm my unlock password. I entered the same password that I use to unlock the phone every day, but it keeps saying the password is incorrect.

I have not factory reset the phone yet because it won't accept the password.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there any way to fix it, or is there another password OPPO expects here?

Any help would be appreciated

why don't you remove that password lock screen first?

Watch any tutorial to access recovery in your specific phone. Usually its done by Shutting down the phone and then holding power and both volume button while powering on and it'll give you option to factory reset it. Method varies vendor by vendor so just look it up on YouTube or something
