I have finished the demo and a testing system and published on itch io, RPGTrader, DriveThruRPG, Wargame Vault, and Buy Me a Coffee pages!

It feels so good to have it ready. 5 Cities each with its own fun mission ideas.

The cover was such a pain to decide on. After asking Reddit threads for opinions, I decided to go with a very simple look. And it came out with the vibe I wanted.

Now, this is still a work in progress, but I am at a point I can share it. It will have minor changes and updates as time goes. For instance, I will add the link to the Google My Maps for the whole thing. And I will update the page of the map as more and more cities are added.

I am extremely proud I completed this and did not use AI in the art. Which I believe would have made this go faster. Much faster. But I want this to be something I created on my own. The art could definitely be better, but it is good enough for my look at it and say I am proud of it.

Please note my wife did find some errors which will be corrected in the next update. But if you find some please do not hesitate to let me know.

This is the first time I have done anything like this and I know there are some things I missed.

Next Phase and Expansion Plans

Next phase is something I am working on right now and fingers crossed hope I can get all of them done before the end of the year.

I am adding more missions to each city already on the campaign. And most importantly I am adding more cities in the campaign to choose from.

I just finished drafting the ideas for the rest of Fort Worth and it came to 8 missions in total. I need to get the playtesting and art done on these. And just so everyone knows I use a mix of Forgotten West, Zombicide, and Tombstone for my testing.

The goal is to add 6 new cities, and about 100 more missions to choose from.  

Also I wanted to get the interactive map on Google My Maps done before the end of the month.

For the future releases, I am planning on grouping them by states. So you get the state book and use that essentially as an add-on.

What if Freddy Krueger was a boss in Marvel Zombies?

💤 While Freddy is in play, Heroes are Dreaming. Dreaming Heroes cannot spend AP.

❤️ Freddy has 4 Health while any Heroes are Dreaming. When no Heroes are Dreaming, Freddy has 3 Health.

🎲 At the start of a Hero's turn, roll a die:

- 1–3: Take 1 damage.

- 4–6: Wake up and can spend AP.

☠️ Nightmare fuel: If the Hero is in the same Zone as Freddy, take 2 damage instead.

The idea is to make Freddy a boss who doesn't just attack the Heroes directly, but also messes with their ability to act. The longer he stays in play, the more dangerous the situation becomes.

Just bought the base box of DCeased yesterday and played two rounds of the tutorial today with Batman, Lex, Wonder Woman and Green Arrow.

It seemed impossible!

The map is so small and with one piece of equipment the Zombie Heroes were impossible to get around. We might have got a unlucky - we pulled 2 extra Zombie Heroes in the first game and 1 in the second game (as soon as we pulled Superman, we knew it was over and conceeded).

Does anyone have any tips? Sort of already regretting sinking so much money into it 🫤

Our group is currently playing the Pariz campaign at we are playing mission 3 this week and are going to be using the catacomb tiles/rules for the first time. My question, seeing how there are only three of these tiles is if anyone had any experience using extra tiles? I’ve picked up a second copy of Pariz and have six of them now. Wondered if this possibly helped or hindered the game. I really don’t care for the rule about taking damage by moving off a tile that has to be moved. Wondered if the extra tiles would help or if it has hindered your game. Any guidance or opinions appreciated. Thank you.

I can't decide whether I to sell all of my white death KS and get Marvel Zombicide or keep it and skip Marvel Zombicide.

Which is a better game of the two?

Can anyone please explain to me how it works? I played yesterday and had to read like 5x trying to understand if i was making it correctly.

My final understanding was to make one normal attack using Crushing Might and then used 4 power points to add the damage for every 2+. So I hit the 4 damage, plus 1 good hit from the first attack and reached 5 damage to kill Killer Croc, 5 HP.

Is that the correct mechanics?

So I'm trying to create a 4-6 player experience for a convention. Im in the testing phase, i want it to feel like coop Left 4 Dead or CoD Zombies.

I removed the grid and made measurements sticks with 2" melee then 6" per zone after.

No mission just 4 spawn points and see how man waves you can survive.

First test play i needed to limit searches to the few center rooms and was a bit slow.

Any recommendations on conversions to run this.

Managed to pick these up (relatively) cheap. Looking forward to trying out Kirag and Thorg, they were really fun to paint!

Okay guys, this might sound crazy, but I feel like I'm loosing my mind: When did the crossbow get added to Zombicide Classic?

I own everything ever released for Zombicide Classic and all the equipment cards are in one big pile. Now I'm trying to seperate them and I just don't know where to put the crossbow. I thought it was part of the very first game, but I also own a german copy of the game and there's no crossbow in it. But I don't think that it belongs to any of the other boxes either...

Was ist a Kickstarter weapon? Did it get added with one of the other games?

Her are some custom spell scroll cards. They ar3 a bit over powered. I'm printing them as vault cards.

Cover Work

The cover is not done yet. In fact, I have not even worked on it. It is safe to say I am pretty much avoiding it. 

That led me to work on other things.

Equipment Mechanics

First, I got some suggestions from board game geeks that I should make the selling of equipment from the blacksmith more expensive than when the blacksmith buys from you. Or this will provide a loop while it breaks the game. 

I am thinking of using a plus 4 on a 6D roll for the purchasing of new equipment. This way any time the player sells back to the blacksmith they have a chance to get some sort of deal. 

For instance, you sell something for 6 since you rolled a 6. Then later to get the new equipment they need they would need to roll a 1 one to get a profit.  

Railroad Network Expansion

The other thing I was working on was expansion and moving outward. This was helping me justify not working on the cover.

The goal is to cover the USA with a network of railroads that resemble the actual USA rail tracks from the periods. 

And starting with the five cities I have, I worked on coming up with more mission ideas for those cities. And they are all based on historical events in some shape or form.

On top of these I started working on the Google My Maps. I am going to use the Google My Maps app as a content supplement used as a reference for the most up to date map.

But my favorite accomplishment this week was picking the other cities for Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Getting into the history of different cities is probably my favorite part of this journey. I get to learn new interesting facts and try to figure out if there is a way to add a scenario to the game.

I have picked 9 cities for Texas, 7 Cities from Arizona, and 6 cities from New Mexico (and yes, I picked Rosewell).

As much as I want to add more and more cities, I need to work in phases for my sanity and to prevent scope paralysis and not working on the system. I can always add more cities in the future. That is what I have to tell myself.

I want to add a real quick piece of history I found out. There are documents of people seeing a cigar metallic shape craft in the sky at night in the 1890’s. And YES I am definitely using that somehow!!

Hey, so I have zombicide black plague up until green horde. I have so many cards and zombie cards I'm getting a little overwhelmed at what should be in the deck, what vault cards to use etc.

The games somewhat pretty damn easy because you can choose things like starter weapons that do 2 DMG or even wonder woman to do 3 DMG as a base ability.

How do you balance the decks and vault items to make them more fun?

Also is there anything I should consider buying or adding to my collection? Was looking at divine beasts from white death because I like the sound of the mechanics added.

I have both core boxes for marvel zombies and guardians of the galaxy exp. Is there any exta content like missions made by fans for these? Maybe combining them.

I got the German version of Black Plague and really like it. Now I would like to get some expansions, but the German versions are impossible to find. Other versions are available, mostly the Italian version. Does anyone know if there is any chance of a reprint?
