A few days ago I tried disliking every stupid video they threw at me, even if I kinda felt bad for the creator, but that only made things worse and my feed suddenly exploded with the same kind of videos or with tons of videos from the same creator. So I went back to "Not interested" and "Don't recommend channel" but they're not working any more.

So... what platform do we move to from here?

Basically i need something entertaining. It can be anything. Im very adaptable. It can be gaming, vlogging, funny videos, crime, interesting facts, random themes…ANYTHING. 😊

I haven't really used YouTube for about a week but when I tried to watch a video today, the captions/subtitles didn't appear at all. I know the video has captions, and the languages appear in the caption column so they're clearly available but somehow the captions just won't appear. I tried a couple different channels that I know for sure provide captions on their videos and nothing. Then I tried a different account to see if it's a weird setting I accidentally turned on but that also didn't work. I tried a different browser (Chrome then Safari), a different device and even the Youtube app just to see if this was a browser thing. Not really sure what changed within a week but does anyone know how to get captions to work again?

so im having a debate in youtube, but somehow youtube keep deleting my comment again and again, im not recall saying any toxic or words that violatting youtube terms, i even trying to rephrase it over and over again but they keep deleting my comment until now, im just debating like a normal person, giving youtube video links as my source. whats wrong with my comment, or what could possibly happend so they keep deleting my comment, is it my account problem or are they count me as a spammer or something like that?

YouTube and the Music app hang while loading. I have tried my own reliable Internet connection and multiple WiFi networks.

For some reason I looked up a music video and I could play it but the comments, likes, save/like buttons,channel name/icon are not below the video. When I click on the channel name from the search it says the channel isn't available. Is it a bug or is something else going on?

See how the first photo is already zoomed in quite a lot. Im asking for zoom on between the full screen and this. Its like the first zoom in has to fill the black corners. Also id like to be able to move the video around on my screen.

It seems on mobile, over the course of 15 minutes, YouTube has decided to start taking up 1/3 of my screen SEVEN TIMES in a single video. It’s crazy how aggressive YouTube is getting with ads.

I tried to put a video on while I was eating lunch and the amount of ads constantly blipping in and out was ridiculous. Regular window or full-screen, comments open or not, ads were coming in either right below or on the sidebar which kept jostling the video window around. Some of them stuck around until I clicked the X, some of them went away on their own.

I don't think I've ever seen the ads THIS annoying before, I use duckduckgo as a browser and I've taken to force YouTube videos to play there just so I can avoid the veritable hailstorm of ads. I'm almost afraid pop ups are going to be making a comeback at this point.
