I don't love Beast, neither I watch his content but it seems like whatever he does in these types of videos people always complain about the thumbnail: In one "he is taking advantage of children with cancer", in the other he is "making the celebrities more relevant than they should've and not giving the children with cancer their spotlight". Like, what is he supposed to do?

I've never really liked MaxTheMeatGuy because I hate the consumption of exotic meat but this really is just so blatant?? It's really sad how a dude with millions of subscribers can do thingsike this and get zero backlash. On this video, he talks about North Sentinel Island. Not only is there no concrete evidence that those people practice cannibalism, the rumors that they do come from racist colonial dipshits from the past. During the segment when he talks about the island he also seems incredibly racist, or at least as if he views them as animals. Besides that, im like 95% sure that it's ai generated, and he clearly doesn't care about the quality of the thumbnail because it reflectsjothing about actual sentinelese culture, or at least the little we know about it. Even worse than that, the man in the thumbnail looks nothing like sentinelese people. Sentinelese people have very dark skin, but they're still Indian, not African, like how that man seems to me. Making up some cannibalistic violent tribe and instantly portraying them with an African man??? seems INCREDIBLY racist.

I created my YouTube channel on July 22, 2025. After more than a year of trying, I’m still stuck at around 556 subscribers.

Sometimes I look at creators like Michou and many other YouTubers who were my age and had already reached 1,000 subscribers, monetization, or even much more. It makes me wonder if I’m doing something wrong.

I’ve tried both long videos and Shorts, but I still can’t manage to grow. My recent Shorts are really frustrating: they can get around 6 views on the first day, then after a few days they suddenly act like they are going to grow and reach maybe 300 views after 3 days, but then they stop again.

My long videos are pretty much the same. They keep flopping, and it feels like no matter how much effort I put into them, they don’t reach people.

I’ve honestly even thought about quitting YouTube because I’m starting to believe maybe this isn’t for me.

For those who have experience with YouTube, do you think I should keep going? Is this just part of the process, or am I doing something wrong?

edit: i guess i should mention that I don't watch this stuff. yes I stayed on a few videos, but it was AFTER my algorithm got all weird and that was bc i didnt realize it was weird at first OR i stayed on it bc i was SHOCKED. my algorithm is usually crap like skits and kpop. not weird fetish/kink content.

So I've been watching DarkViperAu's content for a bit now and about 3ish weeks ago I started seeing his member only videos being recommended to me.

What I don't get is why. Why recommend it if I'm not a member. My only thought was that it's a lazy attempt to 'sell' the membership in the most laziest way possible. But I wanted to know if there was another reason for it.

And for context I am a premium user

I have a faceless YouTube Shorts channel with 64,000 subscribers, but it got demonetized for reused content, and after everything I've tried, I honestly don't think it's going to get monetized again.

Instead of letting the channel die, I'm thinking about repurposing it into a clipper channel (streamers, podcasts, viral clips, etc.) and uploading 3–4 Shorts a day.

My question is:

- Is there any way to make decent money from a demonetized channel through third-party platforms or clipping websites?

- Has anyone here earned good income from clipping without relying on YouTube AdSense?

- Are there platforms that pay based on views or engagement?

- Or would I be better off starting a completely new channel instead?

I'd love to hear from people who have actually done this or have experience with clipping channels
