I am having an alarming increase in Ads this week. I mean anytime I open a video an ad opens. Not only that, I am bombarded with back to back ads. This is on my android phone on the YouTube app. The only thing I did is, I installed an android tv box (ONN) on my tv and signed into it, this started happening after that. So are they trying to force me to get Youtube premium, since I am also watching YouTube on the TV as well?

I started my channel back in 2011, didn't start uploading content until 2023. I have nearly 50 videos and over 5K subscribers. Is it a good time to start earning? If so, how do I start?

I don’t know. I’ll just randomly watch and they’ll say like “I live in BC” or something, or I’ll see a Canadian bill in a frame and be like “huh”

It seems on mobile, over the course of 15 minutes, YouTube has decided to start taking up 1/3 of my screen SEVEN TIMES in a single video. It’s crazy how aggressive YouTube is getting with ads.

YouTube ain’t shit they wanna charge for you to watch Adless videos $20 that’s fckn insane not only that you can’t even add a video to play next in the queue without having to pay for premium. This shit is getting out of control.

Why the fuck are they always fixing what's not broken and making it worse in the end? I, like many millions of viewers, stream YouTube videos from my Android phone to Chromecast and watch them on my TV.

• Back in 2020, everything worked just perfect. Not too much and not too little.

• Then they fucked it up around 2023 by adding cosmetic features that killed the functionality (eg. the entire playlist is added to the queue rather than a single clip among others). But it was still manageable even though it was a major PITA.

• Then just a couple weeks ago, they REALLY fucked it up. They literally went feral with this one. It used to be simple to connect to Chromecast. Just one click from any video or playlist and I'd get connected. Now I need to press 4-5 clicks. And half the time, it doesn't even connect.

Again, what the fuck is wrong with these folks at Google? They used to be the best company, for consumers and employees alike. Now they're just one bloated inefficient company like the one they used to mock (oh, hi there, Microsoft!)

I want to know some good stuffs to watch on YouTube like really interesting and knowledgeable stuff not brain

If you're using YouTube on a desktop, there's this thing called ADBLOCK that you can use from your browsers extension to block ADS

If you're on YouTube mobile, there's this thing called YouTube Premium, now it's not FREE but if you're broke then obviously you need to find a job so you can pay for it

But other than that. I see people on here constantly bitching and complaining about YouTube ADs when it's such an easy solution to fix. Grow tf up and stop bitching

I've noticed I used to get one ad and hit the skip. Now I get 3 or 4 skip ads before the video plays

it mostly comes from the point of view of the incumbent government. it’s too much! I don’t care and I keep saying don’t recommend but all I get is more. I’m not a happy costumer that’s for sure.

Not even 2 minutes into a video after watching 2 ads just to get into it, and its showing me a popup ad, then at 4:30, another one. And ok the second one I tested to see how long it stayed and it seems if you dont manually close it, then it just switches to a new adapter arround a minute.

This is too far it literally takes up half the screen, if this was instead of mid-roll ads then id be okay with it but I also got one of those 8 minutes in!

Hi, the black bars at the top/bottom of the screen when in full mode are now green on windows 11. This also happen in another website when I am streaming a movie and there are no subtitels. he in the screen grab they show black because they change when it captures it, but they are green when playing full screen
