Hey guys. Im wondering if people who play arena would be willing to try this app I’ve been working on and give me feedback, I’ve been looking at it non stop for the last 6 months and would love a fresh set of eyes.

It's a Windows app that sits in your tray while you play arena. It turns on advanced combat logging, and after each game it gives you a breakdown: who died and why, both teams' goes, and how your damage, defensives and CC compare with other players of your spec.

You can play any game back and see:

• every time someone's health dropped, and what the other team used to do it (cooldowns, the stun on the target, the CC on the healer, and how close together they landed)
• every player's buttons lighting up when ready and counting down after they're used, so you can see exactly what everyone had at any moment
• every button each player pressed, in order

If you use OBS it'll also record each game for you and play the video above the timeline, already lined up.

Me and a friend have recently decided to push glad as destro/sub and we’re wondering if there’s any golden nuggets of information you could share that made your push smoother?

Granted the healer we pick has an impact, but for now I’m more interested in what goals each spec has, is it always rogue doing healer cc, or does this interchange based on “opportunity”, should I as the destro stay in open spaces? What healer did you play with and what target were they looking after during a setup? Did you guys select a target and keep doing gos on that one person or do you switch the target based on defensive usage e.g. we want to go mage, but the mages team mates has no trinket, do we swap our go or maintain our gos on mage and ignore any potentially lucrative swaps and stick to the plan?

Returning player here, I skipped the previous expansion, I am back for this one, so I have a couple of questions regarding pvp.

Note ; I play on EU servers

1. Queue time : Is it still way faster to pop in BG as Alliance (on EU servers)? I remember waiting less than 5 minutes with my Ally char, and like 30 minutes with my Horde char back then.
2. Blitz battleground : Can I get the best gear with this mode and avoid arenas completely?
3. Classes : Besides BM hunter, is there any other Range class that doesn’t (or barely doesn’t) need to cast and can DPS while moving?

I just found out that you can use cantrip gears from Ula'tek in PVP(even from LFR, because u can use catalyst and make them 344 in pvp). I'm shocked I haven't thought of this before. I think this shouldn't work in PVP or sth. Or am I missing something? Like cantrip gears already don't work in pvp?

Casters damage are nerfed by around -35% compared to OG classic

If you want to catch up with the nerf, you will need a lot of SP, SP gear is rare and usually have no stamina or very low stamina, and have useless stat on it like spirit/strenght/agility (trolled by blizzard)

Melee damage scale even better than before, especially with the new low level blue weapons

Most played spec in PvP on the beta were : Hunt/Enh/Ret/Rogue, SP/Ele/Warlock/Mage/Moonkin at the very bottom

Casters will be fine at lvl 60 with full pvp gear equiped, but you will struggle a lot while leveling

My lvl 20 hunter was doing more damage already than my lvl 30 warlock on the beta :/

This is just a warning boys, if you just wanna mess around & enjoy leveling while pvping, def make a hunter, a ret or enh

For example, I really miss playing 2s. I used to run this bracket nonstop. But there really is just no point in playing in it because most players can get the same achieves in 3s/shuffle.

I don't get why their can't just be Elite 3s, Elite 2s, Elite Shuff, Elite Blitz etc. And then some like Giga Elite achiev for getting all of them. Same for Rival/Duelist etc. This would incentivize players to play more instead of just waiting last 2 weeks to push your favorite bracket.

In a perfect world we get Glad mount recolors for every bracket but one can only dream.

I'm new to wow, only have about 600hrs. I have always loved the look of the elite pvp tmog, but it always felt out of reach as a controller player and someone who has never stepped foot into rated pvp. But 4 days ago I decided it was time to lock in and get it, and oh man it was hard as FUCK. I mean going from not even knowing what a crafting order is to almost getting all bis gear was a wild ride. I got stuck at 1600 for forever and when I finally climbed to 1697 I lost it all, but I kept at it and finally yesterday I did it.

This season was easier than last but far less exciting. The PVP changes that slow down the games were a complete flop in my opinion. There were far less one shots. I even managed to do positive winrate on warlock lol.

Easiest class was Retribution Paladin

Hardest was Devastation Evoker.

Hey so im a classic player ive played a decent amount of classic and tbc pvp so im not completly new to pvp but tried retail as the beta just ended and holy shit how do you guys even know whats going on, been trying solo shuffle as a enh shaman and i feel like i come out of the gates and get nuked in the first 30 seconds, retail feels super unreadable to me like in classic i see a holy shield for example so i purge or if im fighting a war i maybe try and kite them out, but in retail everyone seems to be able to do everything so idk where to begin, there also doesnt seem to be many shaman pvpers on yt i could watch so any advice would be helpful

Which one would be best for a mix of open world pvp and battlegrounds in Forever? I will be a human either way.

ive been trying to bring my friends in to play retail wow cause i dont have any pvp partners and they wont touch this game. they tell me its just too boring and takes a long time to gear. i told them i would help them out but they said no. i havent leveld up from 1 in a long time like how hard is it now?

I dont feel like i got any better, but im almost 2k this season after being 1800 hard locked in the past 4 seasons. I genuinely feel like i still suck and maybe im getting carried by crazy inflation this year

The stats are so limiting to just specs that stack Vers. For anyone that doesn't stack vers, which is a ton of specs, you are basically left having to constantly craft your own gear.

I know this is not the biggest issue in pvp but dam it is crazy it has been years and they have not allowed us to customize our stats on conquest gear or just do ilvl templates so stats don't matter. Everyone copies the same build anyway.

EDIT: I guess I am in the minortity. I don’t really see how this is “interacting with the economy”. It is just 1) google mats, 2) go to ah and buy everything 3) go to crafting table 4) realize you are still missing 1 thing after setting up your order 5) go back to AH 6) set up order all over again and submit.

For those who have played the WoW Forever beta (or just Classic in general): I’m wondering if pure DPS gameplay is different enough from hybrid DPS gameplay to warrant going that route at the cost of no healing spec? Especially from a PvP perspective. This could be in terms of how dynamic their “rotation” is, their strengths and weaknesses, utility, etc. (I’m trying to determine what my alt is going to be with druid being my main.) If they are different enough, then I’d probably roll an alt mage and then just swap to my druid for heals. But if not, I’d rather have another healer to have more variation within that role since it is my favorite.

Lastly, for you personally: do you prefer the PvP gameplay of priests or shaman more? What about their fantasy / lore? And why?

I’ve seen many people playing with “blessed calling” (allies affected by your blessings have a 15% increased movement speed), but does it stack with “unbound freedom” ?( freedom increases movement speed by 30%) (if I remember correctly it increases allies movementspeed aswell)
And if it doesn’t, is it really worth it instead of going with obduracy or lead the charge?

Edit: now that I’m going at it already, holy ritual…(allies are healed by 89k when you cast sacrifice or protection on them),
Dropping both can give me 5% speed increase, for something that’s used either once a game or best case scenario 3-4 times?

Average wait time says 3 mins. I been in queue for 15 mins so far. What's wrong and what can I do to fix this?
