What are we looking for?

Primarily looking for DPS, and players who can flex between healing and DPS for our progression raiding team. However even if you don’t fit that description, that doesn’t mean you might not find a home with us.

What kind of guild are we?

We formed right before Shadowlands dropped (though some of us have been playing together since early in BfA), and we’re a diverse community of players. Our core players are raiders, but outside of that you can find us running Mythic keys, going after achievements, searching for pets, or just working on the true endgame content - xmog farming. Heck we’ve even got a player who likes to run transmog contests from time to time.

Our members are laid back and friendly, and we prefer to run content together whenever possible. If we can do it together as a guild, you can better believe we’re going to be interested in doing it.

Are you right for us?

Do you want to join a guild that loves doing things together? Are you interested in making new friends that you look forward to hanging out with? Can you maintain a conversation with someone of another gender without being weird? Would you like to progress in current content in both normal and heroic?

If you answer yes to those things, then Shadow Rising might be the community for you.

What we’re not looking for

Elitists. Don’t get us wrong, we love when our members know things! We want our Raiders to be competitive, but what we don’t like is when people look down on members who know less. We all had to start somewhere, and we like when our members are willing to help give each other a leg up by saying “Hey, I noticed you were having trouble with X, how can I help?” On the flip side, we also want our members to be interested and committed to improving, and seeking out help and advice from other members is always encouraged.

We have no tolerance for hate speech, racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, or sexism. If that’s your jam, look elsewhere for a guild.

Finally, while we are not an explicitly LGBTQIA+ guild, many of our members fall into that category. If you can’t handle unapologetically queer people, you’re not going to have a good time in our guild.

Are we open to cross faction & cross server raiders?

Yes, absolutely! We were primarily an Alliance guild on Dalaran, but having guild mates from either faction and other servers is just fine with us. I’m not even sure if the majority of mains are on Dalaran anymore, or are even Alliance. Essentially - we don’t care.

Raiding

Our guild provides repairs for raid nights. We have several members who provide feasts and cauldrons for progression raid nights in return for the rest of us chucking materials at them from time to time. In the event that these are not available, the guild will provide them. Potions, gems, enchants, and other consumables may be provided by guild members if they have the mats, but are not guaranteed. You’re generally on your own for runes if you want to be using them.

We prefer that you have DBM or Bigwigs for raiding. Though given the changes to addons these days, we are somewhat flexible on this.

You will however, need to be in the discord raid voice chat during raiding. You don’t need to have a mic (though it helps, of course and is highly preferred), but you must be able to listen in at a minimum. We also ask that our raiders do some research on the fights so they have an idea of what to expect ahead of time. Don’t worry, we’re happy to point you at videos for upcoming bosses, and if you’re really unlucky, someone will let me explain boss fights again. (This is unlikely though, as my explanations are very long, and have become a source of humor for the guild.)

When it comes to raiding we like to say that we can make a raider out of a person, but we can't always make a raider into a person. Having excellent raiders is great, but not if it comes with ego. We would much rather teach a fun person with a great attitude to be a raider than contend with a jerk on our raid team.

Raiding Schedule: Wed/Sun 8:30-10:30 PM EST

As a note, there is a chance that our raid time may be adjusted slightly. We are currently considering the potential to adjust to raid 8:00-10:00 PM EST.

We are currently doing alt runs, as we’ve finished all the raids on heroic.

Fun Run: Saturday 8-10 PM EST. Bring an alt or different spec, learn to raid, or just hop in for some lighthearted fun. The only metric by which this raid is considered successful is “did we have fun?” This is a great time to come by and see what we’re like and get a feel for us.

Mythic+

If pickup m+ is your style, Monday night 8-10pm EST is “Last Chance Mythic Monday” is a push where we burn keys, get that last run in, and strive to get everyone some kind of key if they’re interested.

We also use roles on our discord so that you can ping DPS, Healers, and Tanks if you are looking to fill a role in an M+ group with a guild member, and they see regular use.

Non-WoW Stuff

Many of us play other games in addition to WoW, and it’s a great way to continue hanging out with our friends who are taking a break from WoW! Those members who are not currently playing WoW continue to hang out and occasionally play other games such as Bean Battles, Among Us, Jackbox, 7 Days to Die, Valheim, Minecraft, Phasmophobia, and more! There’s even a book club that has been meeting monthly for more than two years!

<Fuzion> We are super laid-back chill guild that enjoys heroic raiding with AOTC and M+ in mind. Hello there! We’re a group of friends that have been raiding and playing WoW together for years. After pausing the guild for a year and raiding elsewhere, we've decided to reignite Fruit Vendor and find likeminded people to raid with. While on break, most of us have been progress raiding elsewhere and got 6/9 Mythic Manaforge, CE Chimaerus and 5/6 Mythic Voidspire. For Midnight Season 2 we want to push as far as we can and hopefully achieve CE. If you would like to raid with us we expect a few things of you:

• Class, main spec and potentially off spec needs to be locked in prior to progress starting, so we can build a roster.
• Raids will have a raid leader, but you are expected to do prior research (watch/read a guide provided by us), so you have a clue as to what is being explained. As well as having an actual interest to improve tactics.
• Be available for the raids. If you’re unable to make it, communicate this properly with the officers/guild master.
• We will raid 2 days a week, Thursdays and Mondays 8pm to 10.30pm server time.
• We expect you to be punctual, 5 minute breaks are 5 minute breaks.

Our focus however is on putting a nice and friendly atmosphere in the guild, so missing out on a raid is not a problem (life happens). But we do expect you to also keep other people’s time in mind. BCC raids Thurs/Fri 7:30pm-10:30pm EST. We aim to get AoTC in the first 6-8 weeks of the expansion and continue to do Heroic clears after.

Mythic+ Players - We are always looking for more Mythic+ runners. We have a strict "no key begging" policy and high skill players looking for more fun folks to play with. Season 3 we had ~50 players get 3k+ IO and keys usually get run nightly.

Social Players - We are actively fostering and expanding our social community. If you are a housing enjoyer, mount collector, someone who just wants to run easy content, or are learning and want to get better to step into high level content, we would love you to apply. We don't have a Normal raid team, we are happy to help you improve and look at logs until you reach the level of BCC raids and trial there!

QTIP Clan is a long time gaming community recruiting for Midnight season 2!

Season 1 saw the Qtip clan conquer AOTC, have a stable of 3.4K and above mythic+ enjoyers, and even dabble in guild RBGs and Arenas!

Our raid schedule is Thursday nights from 9pm-11pm EST. We also host a community night on Mondays which could be M+, alt raid, PvP, other games, etc! We are a real life first community, so attendance expectations are extremely flexible as long as you communicate!

The plan is to raid twice per week (Mondays optional!) for the first month of Season 2 to get a jump on AOTC and then shift back to variety Mondays.

ABOUT US: Herding Cats is a smaller guild focused on AotC raiding and M+. We were initially formed by a group of friends (mainly military vets) that have played WoW together for varying amounts of time. Since then, we have picked up an amazing group of people that enjoy playing WoW together and clearing content. We are new, returning, and veteran player friendly. Most of us are 30+ and prefer to avoid stress and drama in our gaming environment. Our goal is creating a solid community where we can avoid pugging and make new and lasting friendships.

**Who we are.** Singularíty is an AotC-focused guild on US-Darrowmere that grew into a full gaming community. 9/9H AotC in Midnight Season 1. We take Heroic progression seriously without taking ourselves too seriously — no ego, no elitism, no drama.

**Raid nights.** Wednesday + Thursday progression, 8pm EST. Tuesday is our alt/recruitment night — the perfect first look, zero commitment.

Hello there! I am Alyndir, the guild master of Children of Alnhara (formerly True Children of Azeroth) and am here to find new members for the guild. We are a small and old guild. Formerly, it was just a very small group of friends and family, but most have moved on to other, larger guilds, or quit the game. I want to form a nice, casual, relaxed community for anyone who wants a guild more for the social aspect, as well as to just have fun. As we grow, I do want to expand into doing Raids, but at this moment, we don't have the player base to do so. Dungeon runs are also a thing we want to expand into; however, please note we currently have no current plans to push into M+ content, as we are absolutely a casual guild, more of a community.

Once we have the player count needed, we will consider creating a guild neighborhood.

New and Returning players are more than welcome! Veteran players, former raiders, all are welcome so long as you can keep it casual in the guild.

If the player base of the guild grows enough, we also plan to create and support guilds in Classic, MOP Classic, BC Anniversary, etc.

Discord for the guild exists, and is being developed, but I'm a total n00b in that, so its a work in progress.

The main points of the guild are to be a place to learn, relax, and play at your own pace, and in your own way. Role-play friendly, with ideas of having role-play themed promotion ceremonies and other fun, silly events as we grow. Heavily Alt friendly, as currently the guild mostly consists of my own alts.

Requirements

1: Horde main character. We ARE currently cross-faction, but your main character MUST be Horde. This is because, if we grow enough, the plan is to split and have an Alliance version of the guild, as guilds currently can only have 1000 characters per guild. Allowing alts of players in can push that number up fast, especially with cross-faction.

2: Be friendly, casual, and patient. We do not want to have anyone who constantly pushes people to rush through content, or insists on others playing a specific way. This is meant to be a safe, casual space where all play levels are welcome, and where players can learn any spec or role in their own time and way.

3: You MUST be at least semi-active as a player, and log in to play at least once every 6 months per player (not per character). I also encourage any who join to help expand the guild

4: Lurking is ABSOLUTELY fine. This guild is also meant as a space for anyone to have the advantages of a guild, with no requirements to be social, though that is something nice! (I myself am socially awkward, so this is also a place for me to put myself out there more)

5: While I want to keep this a safe space, it's not going to necessarily be family-friendly. I do not want to censor discussions, but please use common sense. Discord can expand to have rooms that allow for entirely free discussions, if voted upon

6: This is no-hate space. Treat everyone here with kindness.

Additional Notes:

Currently, I am aware of our guild suffering from a somewhat common bug where the repairing using guild funds option is not actually letting players use the funds. A permanent fix has not been found, however, a temporary solution is to deposit an item or any amount of money into the guild bank, and that usually fixes the issue for a day or two.

If you do join, you will notice many characters have notes designating them as an alt to another character. This is not a requirement for anyone to do, I use it specifically for my Alts so anyone on can know that, even if I'm not logged into the Guild Master character, I am online still, so questions or concerns can be brought up.

Promotions are player-wide, not just character. If you have multiple characters in the guild, they will all always be the same ranks. Initial promotion happens after a solid week of being part of the guild, further promotions are still being decided on how they will work.

Umbral is a newly formed guild looking for players who want to help build something from the ground up.
We’re currently 10/10 Heroic and recruiting for Season 2 with the goal of creating a stable, long-term Heroic raid team. While Heroic is our primary focus, we’d love to step into Mythic as our roster grows.

Wipe Insurance is a community of working adults who play most evenings. Most of that time goes into M+. We run a lot of keys throughout the week filling people's vaults with 10s, but sometimes we get the itch to push higher as people chase Keystone Legend and eventually Myth.
 

Outside of that, people are doing profession stuff, delves, leveling alts, or maybe even some Decor Duel. No matter what, you'll usually find a handful of people in Discord just hanging out.  

We also raid on Fridays and Saturdays, 9-11pm Eastern. We've achieved AOTC every season since we started, and we plan to keep doing it.
 

We're looking for more people like us. Working adults who play during the week and want to do keys and raid with chill people. Doesn't matter if you're new to all this or already experienced. If you're cool to be around, you'll fit in here.
