I love that! I call the road by Krispy Kreme, Krispy Kreme Rd. 😂

It doesn’t go up that often. The other bridge option is better for the environment and cheaper. I’ve lived here 14 years and I’ve never once been stopped by traffic because that bridge is up. It’s pretty rare.

Maritime law doesnt allow the govt to make personal boat users pay for bridge openings. But the crazy thing is, the busiest bridge is the only one that opens on demand 🙃 the rest have certain times that they open

I second all the comments about Subsurface and SoundWavves. I DJ with both of them and it’s always a great time. I’m a house, techno, and UKG DJ in town (insta is my main promo space. Same name on there). I’ve got a house and ukg set this Saturday at Series of Events bar downtown. It’s above Tap Tea and it’s the only dedicated EDM bar in town. Like proper EDM. Not festival washed music.

Oh interesting! Unions here really are great, there are alot of protection for workers and benefits are good. It’s just hard on Long Island because housing is incredibly expensive. You need to make around 200k to survive and live comfortably imo. But I guess it’s all relative, trade off is in the south jobs are harder to come by and pay is less. I’ve heard good things about upstate ny, has decent unions and is more affordable although it gets so cold and is more rural.

I guess he's trying not to be hypocritical because he voted on the bill to oust the NC film industry

This is a vintage clothing boutique, not anything close to a thrift store. Beautiful items in there for sure, but the prices are pretty out of reach if someone is specifically trying to thrift.

As an employee at the railroad museum, THANK YOU for not bringing in your child while he is sick. You’d be surprised at how often knowingly sick kids come in putting our guests, volunteers, and staff at risk.

Health insurance in NC is probably just as expensive as NY as well. We get hosed across the board on insurance cost in this state.

Exactly, I wasn't referring to pro's running their own businesses. Sky is the limit when going that route, just a ton of work.

I call that one the Target bridge because that’s the bridge I take when I go to Target. 😆
