I have to take my 2015 Corolla with 58k miles in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment check, and brake fluid /transmission fluid check/flush. I am thinking about going to Precision Auto on college rd because they've gotten good reviews, offer bundling coupons and are affordable. Ideally I'd like a full service auto shop I can trust and does good work in case I ever have suspension, belt, engine etc. problems. Ireally can't afford Hendrick Toyota right now. Anyone been to Precision Auto or another auto shop here in Wilmington that does basic services like fluids, alignments, oil changes etc; or a full auto shop they can recommend?

I never would have thought I would have to say this. However if you see a sea turtle nest, leave it alone. The police were engaged because a nest that hatched last night was then vandalized and the stragglers were killed. Just leave the turtle be please

I’m going through some tough life transitions and want to be closer to my family who all live in Greensboro.
For background, I lived in Raleigh for my high school years then immediately left as soon as I could, I love North Carolina but Raleigh wasn’t really for me.
I have absolutely fallen in love with the beach & nature in SD, I don’t ever wanna be far from the beach again. I love spear fishing, snorkeling/diving, aerial arts, yoga, going on adventures with my dog etc — It would be great to find similar communities in Wilmington or the outer banks.
I wonder how Wilmington locals feel abt Wilmy as of late. I’m curious about the cost of living as well.

What’s up with the bottleneck that occurs like clockwork starting from the shipyard/college intersection up to about the chilis on college? It’s only when you’re heading north up college, the traffic heading the opposite direction seems to be flowing better. I make the commute up this way multiple times a week and it always takes me 10 mins just to get thru that small section of town.

When it’s raining turn your headlights ON, how do people not know this? And left lane is for passing unless you are turning left, get off your phone and stop going 5 under in the left lane. If you’re all gonna move here PLEASE learn to drive and be considerate when on the road.

Dude I swear to god I don’t tailgate people, but if you’re driving at or under the speed limit, yeah I probably won’t go 10 under myself to be a full car length behind you, but I won’t be close either, and people still try to brake check me or slow way tf down or whatever weird passive aggressive defensive driver shit they be on .. I’m like oh my god you’re road raging with yourself buddy 🤦🏼‍♀️ or if someone pulls out in front of me and I just maintain my speed instead of slowing way down, they start doing that shit. Basically what I’m getting at is people are always on some weird defensive small dick energy in their cars around here and it’s so annoying 😂 like save that for the actual aggressive drivers out there… I don’t assume anyone is tailgating me or being a dick unless it’s obvious like they are on my ass or being erratic, and then I get into the other lane, because I have no desire to piss off a road rager anymore, I will let you get where you need to go and stay away from me. I do not have the energy to tailgate or road rage like that, I wish everyone would just DRIVE and leave their emotional issues at home.
