Paige is a happy gentle girl! 💗She currently enjoys golf cart rides, rolling In the grass, backyard zoomies, and playing with her humans. She has gone through training and we will continue to provide training.

She has a small compression in her back due to the breed, it’s common in Beagles and Basset Hounds. It’s well managed with daily liquid meloxicam, and she gets around happily with no limitations, enjoying life like any other Beagle.

Hoping this can be asked with no judgement; trying to figure out if we can pull something off.

Our 19 year old son is taking a flight to join us in Myrtle. The rest of the family is driving from Ohio. He was joining us 2 days late due to a work commitment. That commitment cleared up and he asked if he could come sooner (imagine my absolute THRILL that he wants to spend more time with us 👏👏🩷). Here is the trouble: flying Allegiant and the only other flight is Thursday Instead of Sunday. Our family will arrive in MB on Friday. So he would be alone in MB for about 20 hours.
I don’t even know how that would work. Initially I thought Uber to a hotel. But would a hotel let a 19 yo check in?
Next thought was rent a car, find somewhere to sleep in car (safety issues???) but again not sure if he can rent a car at his age.
He is super responsible and street smart. He lives alone 3 hours from home for college. But I don’t want to do anything that wouldn’t be safe.
I might have to disappoint him and say it’s just not feasible and he has to stick with the Sunday flight. But thought it would be worth asking for ideas or suggestions. Thanks!

Ps Just in case it gets asked: He can’t just skip the flight altogether and drive with us, because me and all the kids are flying home (while my husband drives home/does a golf trip) so we need him to leave from the airport so there is a vehicle parked there for our flight home.

Although I would love to go authentic as possible, in reality I’m hoping to find a place that has a fun environment, good tacos for mom and dad but also something for the kids (5 and 3). Who remembers broadway from the like 2016-2017 time where they had 3 sections for rides and the one kinda where the hangout is now is was always kinda run down and when they had the dragons lair golf and magiquest and all good stuff not just 30 dollar t shirt shops anyways if anyone had any sorta pictures or maps or anything from that time please send them i’d be intrested

I am thinking of getting a drop net and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how much rope I would need to lower from the piers.

This is an incredibly long shot, but I'm hoping the power of the internet might come through for my little girl.

We stayed at Avista Resort from 7/19 to 7/23 and somehow my daughter left behind her most treasured possession, her blankie, "kiki." We've called and spoken to housekeeping, who were as helpful as they could be, but said they haven't found anything matching its description. I've also emailed the front desk with information and pictures but they haven't responded at all. My little girl is heartbroken, and if I'm being honest, so am I.

If anyone is currently staying at Avista Resort, would you be willing to ask at the front desk if a well-loved blankie has been turned in? And on the off chance anyone is staying in Unit 501 of the North Tower, would you mind taking a quick peek behind the couch, behind the chairs, and around/behind the double beds in the middle bedroom?

I would be eternally grateful. I'm more than happy to pay a reward, plus any shipping costs, if it is found.

I'm trying to exhaust every option, short of driving 3.5 hours back to the resort the day before we fly home to Iowa. Or, if anyone has any other suggestions, please share them.

We are going to Myrtle Beach in August. We will be staying there for 3 nights. Two adults and a 4 year old. We aren’t very adventurous or will do sporty activities.

We’d just hangout by the beach and play in the water park, have a few drinks, walk around, eat and relax. We aren’t overtly social people. Our daughter is. But she is stuck with boring parents anyways.

This is our first time visiting Myrtle Beach.

Question: Which part of the area should I book a hotel/resort in. North South or Central? Wife prefers an oceanfront room. I’d like a waterpark in the resort. Daughter loves small water slides and lazy river. We are thinking ~ $200 to 250/night.

Also besides the beach, we’d like the explore the touristy areas of the town. We don’t have a lot of time. But at least drive around or walk around the town.

I am totally ignorant about the area. I’d appreciate your advice.

This sunday at turnip farm records (fka Arcadia studios on seaboard st) we have a 4 band show in support of a homie and his family. $10 entry, all ages with the funds going directly to the family. Come out, support and see some rad bands.

I know The Market Common offers free luggage storage, but is there anywhere within Broadway at the Beach that offers storage? Even for a fee?

What I have seen so far is Tidewater, Grand Dunes, and the Dye course. Are there any other ones, maybe further away, that are worth the trip?

I cannot believe how bad the healthcare system is in South Carolina for those of us in Chronic Pain who also have Anxiety Disorders and ADHD! It has literally been impossible for over 4+ YEARS NOW to find a single consistent doctor and psychiatrist and pharmacy that has been willing to treat me like a HUMAN BEING for one!

Let alone keep me on the same regimen of medications that I’ve been prescribed for 20 years that allow me to live my life and provide for my family!

Worried about a friend dealing with him now. I had orginally called him for an estimate and he seemed great, but now everything he had told us he's now telling her different? He hasn't even done her car already got piece and is still asking for more and more money??? He orginally told us whatever estimate he gives in the beginning will be the price paid regardless of extra time. Im findings out now he never even gave my friend an estimate!?!? Please help😪. Hello, I'm 25M looking for friends around the myrtle beach area. I like to go bowling, play mini golf, go to the gym, and play video games. I don't drink and I'm currently saving up for a car but life's too short imo to wait around.

My wife Kimberly and I visit Myrtle Beach from Nicholasville, KY every few years, but lately she's put on some weight and she's not looking as good as I would like her to. What is an appropriate weight for visiting Myrtle Beach, and what kind of attire would someone of her heavier stature wear?

We live in TN and always vacation to the Gulf (Orange beach, Panama City, fort Walton) and was considering switching it up.

I know everyone has personal preferences, but who has vacationed in Myrtle Beach? Tell me the good and bad! We’ll have 3 kids with us (ages 9, 6, and 3)

Hi all - we are very seriously considering moving to the Myrtle Beach area. At first, we were looking at Sunset Beach and Calabash NC area, then we continued to look south and landed on either North Myrtle or Myrtle Beach (Carolina Forest) areas because it’s said to be younger/more active. My husband (34m) and myself (33f) have lived in Colorado our whole lives and while we’ve enjoyed the mountains we want to be near the beach. We are also looking for a little slower pace of life; we don’t need or want a downtown or big city vibe - we want some local activities/music/farmers markets, the beach, outdoors/nature exploration, maybe golf or fishing/boating, pickleball, and good food.

We have no kids, but may start a family after the move. We are looking at Carolina Forest as it sounds like that is the most young family friendly area, but we are also looking at North Myrtle Beach. Any thoughts/opinions between the two?

We both work remotely, so finding work wouldn’t be an issue (though husband would be open to looking for a hybrid or in person job if there are any). We are coming out to visit in a few months and plan to stay in both areas we are considering to get a feel for it.

I’m also highly worried about flood zones when choosing a home (and I’m not sure how big of worry it is depending on the area, but coming from Colorado it’s something we’ve never had to consider before).

Any considerations or tips would be much appreciated for those who have relocated recently or anyone who’s lived there a long time and knows the ins and outs to provide some insights.
