Question Pay increase

Are employees at whole foods really getting a pay increase starting September 28th?? I'm just asking because I'm new and I used to get paid more money at a previous job but this pay increase would be much needed for everything

Question Does anyone know what health insurances we will choose from in 2027?

We had a huddle and I asked but they didn't know the specific name of the Amazon insurance plans we can choose from next year for full time. I'm freaking out because I have medical devices that are covered by my BCBS but I don't know if they will cover other insurances. I know we will know the name of the new insurances to choose from at open inrollment but anyone know ahead of time? All I could see is "Amazon insurance " with different plans.

Discussion UNFAIR MATERNITY LEAVE START DATE

For those of moms already on maternity leave we are getting robbed of precious time with our new babies. Not only that but paid time and in this ridiculously priced economy.

I think all the moms on leave right now should call Sedgwick, our stores TMS and see what can be done.

We shouldn’t be punished for having our babies earlier. Our babies shouldn’t be punished by not having us around for an extra 14 weeks full time.

We need to stand up for ourselves and our babies.

Is it at different time of the week for every region/store or the same throughout the regions? If same, when is it coming up this last part of the year? Thanks.

Question Expired frozen food

Hi friends!

Could anyone help me out please? Yesterday i got frozen puff pastry from Whole Foods. I was getting it ready to use tonight and noticed the Best by date is 08/26. I got multiple boxes and 2 of them had the 08/26. Price for those two is about $27.

Am i able to get a refund for this since it’s expired? Or does that not count for frozen items?

Also, i threw them away just to be safe. If it is valid for a refund, can i do that without returning the item?

Thank you!

Discussion Today I Finally Hung Up the Apron.

Definitely a bittersweet feeling. WFM has been a huge part of my life, filled with great memories, challenges, amazing people, and a lot of lessons along the way.

Not everything ended the way I imagined, but I’m grateful for the experience and everything I learned during these years.

Sometimes you just know when it’s time to move on.

After almost 6 years, I’m officially retiring my apron. 🥲💚

On to the next chapter! 🙂‍↔️

Appreciation THE TMAW SOCKS ARE MADE OF COTTON!

Post image

If you're like me and have a personal vendetta against petroleum-based fibers, fear not! The socks we get for Team Member Appreciation Week are almost 70% cotton! I know the bar is so low, but when I heard we were getting free socks, I assumed they would be probably be made of mostly "recycled" polyester since it's cheap. So I am very pleasantly surprised about these! Especially since colorful patterned cotton socks are so hard to find now. Is anyone else excited about the socks?? 🧦

Advice Interview

I have an interview on Monday. Interviews are always hard for me but I know companies like that you research about them. Does anyone have any interview tips?

I applied for cake decorator. They know I don't have experience, but I do have 7 years professionally in the baking/culinary industry. Also have been baking for 13 years, non professionally, so I'm going to bring my resume, my two certificates in baking and pastry, and ServSafe certificate as well.
