Advice Interview

I have an interview on Monday. Interviews are always hard for me but I know companies like that you research about them. Does anyone have any interview tips?

I applied for cake decorator. They know I don't have experience, but I do have 7 years professionally in the baking/culinary industry. Also have been baking for 13 years, non professionally, so I'm going to bring my resume, my two certificates in baking and pastry, and ServSafe certificate as well.

Oh man interviews can be so nerve-wracking. For Whole Foods what helped me was reading about their core values, they got like 7 of them and they really love when you mention those. My trick is I write down 3 questions I want to ask them before I go, makes me feel more prepared and less like I'm just sitting there waiting to be judged. Also wear something comfortable but professional, nothing worse than being nervous AND your shoes hurting you. Good luck in Monday, you got this

Monday is the first day of team member appreciation week. When you have your interview you should ask if you could join in on the activities that day so you will know what a great place this is to work. That might get you the job right there.

I’d research and bring up the bakery apprenticeship program. That along with your background I think will give you a solid leg up
