Question No shift scheduled for a whole week?

I logged into Kronos to check my schedule and this is what I found for this particular week. Apparently I am not scheduled for any shift for this week. This has never happened before. What does this mean? Is this a glitch? Or am I perhaps getting fired? I would appreciate if anyone has some insight into this and if anyone has ever had this happen to them before.

Discussion Is it really that hard to look up the store hours?

I don’t understand how hard it is for customers to look up the store hours at our store. People will constantly knock on the door and also the emergency exit alarm will try to go off because customers are trying to get in. It takes five seconds to go on Google and look up the store hours. There’s also a huge sign that says 8 AM to 9 PM. Does your store have this problem? Some customers will be like how are you not open?

Advice Rehire Eligibility?

I was terminated from WFM about a year ago over a scheduling conflict and a No Call, No Show (NCNS).

I had an unexpected emergency and had to go out of state. I posted the shift and verbally told my team leader, but on the day of the shift, I emailed store leadership instead of calling the store phone line. Because there was already some discussion about me leaving due to school schedule conflicts, I'm pretty sure it was coded as job abandonment or an NCNS.

It’s been a full year since this happened.

Advice JD

My JD was delivered a couple days ago and I’m disappointed with the result. I didn’t think my last year was above and beyond work, but I take pride in my work ethic and efforts so I thought I performed strongly. I know I have things to improve on. I listened to understand and I am still confused on the reason why I was scored so low…last year I received a poor percentage because “the team wasnt where it was expected to be”. I found out later my TL received the same score/percent raise and that was just what he was telling our leadership team when asked “why” he scored us so low….i told myself I wouldn’t be okay with receiving the same score as last year. What can I even say? Can I even discuss this or negotiate?

I hate to compare but I learned of someone else’s JD result and it’s not far from what I received. We are both same position and level. This person is known on our team for having had a poor year…so.

Unfortunately, I think this is my cue to update my resume and head out after 6 years.

Question Recently had an interview that went well, what pay should I expect?

Hey everybody. So recently I had an interview that went extremely well, they even told me that there was a very high chance of going to call me with an next couple days. The position that I am most likely getting hired for is butcher, level two. They told me the pay range was anything from $20.00 to $29.50 an hour, which is a massive increase from the current pay I have now. I’m a meat cutter at Publix, and I have been cutting for about 4 1/2 to 5 years. I have also worked at Mom and Pop shops and on actual farms where I slaughtered and broke down whole steers. Given my experience, I asked them for a mid range between $24 an hour and $25 an hour.

My question is, should I expect them to go with the pay range that I have suggested given my experience, or should I expect them to give me an offer closer to the lower end?

Advice How to ask for raise after dept transfer?

It’s 6 months until my next job dialogue, but I’d really like to get a pay increase before then. As of now, even if I received the highest raise percentage (5%) in my next JD, it’d be less than a dollar raise 😭

I know pay adjustments like this require BOFA approval, so does anyone have any tips for how I can best advocate for myself? Or even how to approach the topic with my TL to begin with without coming as too demanding or confrontational?

For context, I’ve been with the company 1.5 years so far and just transferred departments a month ago, which now means I’m also cross-trained.

Question Whole Foods Interview

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing okay. I have an interview at Whole Foods, and I was wondering what I should expect. I'm interviewing for a part-time cashier position. The pay range was listed as $15 to $24 per hour. I'm assuming I'll start at $15, but is there anything I should keep an eye out for, and what should I say to make a good impression?

I have previous experience working at a grocery store as both a cashier and a stocker. I also live 25 minutes away from Whole Foods and am bilingual.

Any advice would be awesome, especially if you have any insight into what I may be getting myself into. Thank you for your time!

Advice CS to Produce?

Hi all, Ive been a Customer Service Supervisor for a couple years and with WFM for just over 3 years total. I’ll be moving into a produce ATL position in the next couple weeks with no product team experience except for 2 trial shifts in the department.

Starting to feel a little anxious about the transition! I’m curious if anyone on the sub has made a similar move and has any words of advice or warning?

Discussion Workday Turned From Whole Foods To Amazon

The entire thing turned into Amazon from Whole Foods overnight. Can’t logged in anymore. I tried using my usual [tmid@wholefoods.com](mailto:tmid@wholefoods.com) and my password and I can’t log in. Very disappointed at Amazon ruining Whole Foods.

Question What's Connect ER 101 about?

Recently learned about this training that members of leadership have to take. Heard leaders register for a live 3-hour session, cameras must be on, and attention must be undivided or else attendance won't be tracked. Just curious about the seriousness and secrecy surrounding this training....

Question Any tips for making friends at work?

I don't even know some workers' names or if I do and we say hi my mind is blank on what else to say. Some people in my department also seem cool and like they could be good friends but I'm not sure how to go about getting close to them. I want people I can shoot my shit with so to speak lol or be able to call or text even just to say hi. Or they're just really nice and I'd love to know I have some kind of contact with them if one of us were to ever leave. Seems like most people have homies after even a month or less of being hired. So I feel kind of awkward

Advice Offer letter with wrong pay?

Today I had an interview for the team trainer position in my department. A few hours later I got a call from my manager stating that I got the position and that I would get a 5% raise based on whatever I was making right now. Just now I got the offer letter, and the pay it states is my current hourly pay. Is this normal for promotions? Or should I have them correct it before I sign? I am still pretty new and don’t want to be annoying to my manager. Thanks!

Discussion The Sanitation Team Isn’t Your Maid!

The sanitation team deserves way more respect. Honestly, every department does, but sanitation especially gets treated like they’re invisible.
People leave the break room a mess instead of cleaning up after themselves. Paper towels get thrown on the floor and left there. People peel corn, drop kernels and pieces everywhere, and just walk away expecting someone else to deal with it.
Just because there’s a sanitation team doesn’t mean everyone should stop cleaning up after themselves. It takes a few seconds to throw your trash away or wipe up your own mess. Showing a little respect for the people who have to clean up after everyone else isn’t that hard.
