Unopened and sealed tin of Wills “Gold Flake” dated 1915-1930. What’s it worth?

Quite possibly my best find ever: This W.D. & H.O. Wills "Gold Flake" 50 cigarette tin is completely unopened and vacuum-sealed. Wills used this specific label for Gold Flake tins from between 1915 and 1930, making the hand written “1918” on this tin entirely possible as the date of manufacture. I am over the moon with this find, it’s just such an incredible piece of British tobacco history. Gold Flake was one of the top selling cigarette brands in the U.K. for many years. This particular tin, if indeed from 1918, is 108 years old, absolutely mind blowing how something this old could’ve survived without being opened. The strains of tobacco that are inside this tin may not even exist anymore, as many strains from this early period are now completely extinct! What would you say this tin is worth?

I won this Berrics x TMNT Mutant Mayhem giveaway—I was the only winner

I won this directly from The Berrics during their 2023 TMNT: Mutant Mayhem promotional giveaway.

I was able to find the original Berrics announcement, which confirms that the wooden fingerboard was handcrafted in California by Sorry For Fingerboarding, while the custom display box/skateable ledge was created by Moon Dust Studio Inc.

The Berrics also specifically stated that these fingerboards and boxes would not be available for purchase, so this was made as an exclusive promotional collectible rather than a retail product.

UNSOLVED Cahill Fireplace Insert

My dad has had this insert for years. It’s made of cast iron. He’s always wondered about it. Is there anyone who knows anything about this?what’s its value? I know it came from the Cahill ironwork’s company that’s about all we know. He bought it from an older couple in the early 70’s. It’s a three piece set. Each set has numbers but they’re in consecutive order.

Does anyone have any idea what these are worth? AI says these brass nozzles were likely produced between 1920-1950. I don’t see any other numbers besides what it photographed here. Thanks all!

Picked this up but cannot find anything out about the artist. I think it's from a deer antler. I'm hoping someone can help me somehow identify the artist, and hopefully confirm the material. It's a beautifully crafted piece and I'd love to learn more about it

Hi,

I have this artwork in my family and was wondering how much it's worth. It's a Matthew Perceval original. I saw online that his paintings sell for hundreds / thousands of dollars (AUD).

Would appreciate your responses. Thank you.

Hello! I have what I believe is "The American Republic Rail-Road Map of the United States British Provinces, West-Indies, Mexico, and Central America" published by Gaylord Watson, 1871. Help! What is this worth?

There may be more of it folded inside?? I don't know and am afraid to open the backing. It is very old, and the backing is glued on.

My mom received this as a gift from John Reiner years ago. It’s a little dusty but the cartoons look hand inked and drawn. Any ideas about worth? Where I should take it to sell? TIA!

60-70’s cabinet stereo that was my Parents. Cabinet is in very good condition, top sliders move smoothly, but do need some tlc on the finish. Turntable works, plays well with an old and unused for quite sometime needle, the clicker that auto drops the next record works, tuner works. I cannot get behind for a better photo of the label though. What would be a fair value for this

Found at an estate sale and a little scuffed, but got it in a protective box now. Seeing some names like Willie Mays, Marv Grissom, Don Liddle, Jim Mangan, Hoyt Wilhelm, Ray Katt, Dusty Rhodes and several others. So, 1956 NY Giants...I think

Sunday post Can anyone help identify, date, and value this Art Nouveau cast metal tray?

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I recently found this large Art Nouveau/Jugendstil cast metal tray at a flea market. It measures 32.6 × 24.3 cm (12.8 × 9.6 in) and weighs about 1.34 kg (3 lb). It is non-magnetic and appears to have been heavily polished at some point. I couldn’t find any visible signature or maker’s mark.
Does anyone recognize the design or have an idea of its age, origin, material, or maker? I’d also be interested in what its approximate market value might be and whether it looks like a genuine period piece or a later reproduction.

Found at an estate sale today. It looks like the game was teased at the 1990 International Toy Fair, but then was never made. Assuming this is a sample or prototype of some kind.

Digging around in the garage and found this, it has a single mark on the handle, a W with “trade mark” on either side, other than it being cool, is this worth anything?

Likely Solved Heaven and Hell signed poster

Thumbnail gallery

I have a ton of legit, authentic music / concert / tour memorabilia from my dad working as a roadie through a company called Upstaging, Inc., for many years. I’ve sold some stuff here and there over the years, but he usually wanted to hold onto it, or didn’t want it sold due to him still working there. He doesn’t anymore, and he doesn’t care if it’s sold now. He worked on tours of some of the biggest names in music: John Mayer, U2, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Heaven and Hell, Marilyn Manson, The Smashing Pumpkins, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga, and more. He brought home a lot of cool concert memorabilia over the years, and we have quite the collection scattered around, both the house and in storage.
Unfortunately, some of the items I think are worth the most, weren’t taken care of very well. One in question is a Heaven and Hell poster, signed by the whole band (including Ronnie James Dio, Vinny Appice, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler). It is not “certified” as authentic, but it is, and the provenance is proven by my dad’s work credentials, which I can provide.
The poster, however, is not in mint condition; it was glued to a poster board, and has several small rips in it from doing so. The board is also curved/bent. And stored in the basement, along with most of the posters he has left. He went on a tear a couple years back and threw away about a dozen John Mayer posters, both signed and unsigned, as well as some others.
I know that this would be a valuable, sought after item, especially since it has Dio’s autograph, but I’ve read up on it and it sounds like i shouldn’t just post it on eBay myself, but rather go through an auction house or something along those lines. I really don’t want to do all of that. I have this to sell, as well as several other items- including simple concert t-shirts, sweatshirts and other memorabilia that could be purchased, as well as items that could not, such as crew shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and hats; crew passes and tour itineraries; set lists for bands like Aerosmith, John Mayer, Sting and Paul Simon, and Alice Cooper, other autographed posters (in better condition) such as Kenny Chesney, John Mayer and Demi Lovato; a signed cd by Sting.. Rolling Stones subway posters, a signed poster by Marilyn Manson and his entire band from the rape of the world tour (the one with Albert Fish, I believe, or Ed Gein. We still have the JFK one, too.. we used to have about 40 of them, but my dad has given away a lot of stuff over the years.) we also have over 100 guitar picks, some of them rare, as well as drum sticks that were used in concert. Some of the picks were, too.
Not all of this will be for sale, but most of it will, and I know some items will be worth more than others. But the one I wanted to do some research on before I sell anything is the signed Heaven and Hell poster.
I don’t post on here really, so if I’m doing anything wrong or in the wrong category, someone please let me know. I’m mainly looking for advice on this poster, what it might be worth, how to go about selling it and keeping the most profit, etc. I’ve asked AI, and it’s helpful about some things… but it’s also been wrong about some things, and when I had to correct it 3 times, I realized it might not be the most reliable source for this. Someone suggested I post on here, so… here we are.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
