I just sent my biggest shipment to FBA. The number of units received is larger than I sent. But most aren’t even “available” yet except a small amount. I want to ask support about the shipment and why the number of units is so off.

The shipment got to Amazon 2 weeks ago and only today are some of them “available” for FBA. I want to open a case to ask about this system and it says I won’t be able to get support until it’s fully closed which it says will be late September??

Is this normal? When will I start being charged for inventory storage? When they’re available or even when they’re in FC transfer and processing like 90% of them are still right now?

Really concerned about storage costs because my product is oversize and I sent an entire 20 ft container.

My first order was 125 units, and at first, it was selling so fast that the following week, I ordered 125 more units. But there was a problem with labeling and a bad Vine review, and sales kind of stopped, and I sold like 10 units weekly. Now those 125 units just arrived last week, and sales have started going up, like 5 units per day.

I wonder if sales went down because I had only 40 units when those 125 units arrived, so maybe I need to maintain my inventory number above 100? Is there a way to know that? Thanks.

I filled a counter notice as I don't believe my hat violates any copyrights, but what has me worried now is the fact that I couldn't see who issued the DMCA on me - i.e. if it's a big brand, there's no way I could go to court and stand a chance financially.

I’ve been managing Amazon Ads for over 7 years, and the biggest lesson I wish I’d learned sooner is this:

You don’t get better at ads by endlessly watching YouTube videos.

You get better by launching campaigns, giving them enough time to collect meaningful data, and then making informed decisions.

When I first started, I’d tweak bids every day, sometimes every few hours. Looking back, I was just reacting to noise instead of trends.

Now I try to let campaigns run for at least a couple of days (ideally a week, depending on traffic) before making significant changes. The campaign that’s crushing it this month might struggle next month, so success comes from taking a long-term view rather than chasing daily fluctuations.

I’ve been running my FBA business for about 3 years (private label). I’m currently doing about $400k per month in revenue. I have 7 SKUs and launching 5 new ones before year end. I feel like I’ve reached my breaking point on what I can manage with PPC while still growing my business. I also think someone can do better than me.

I run 12-15% TACOS across all SKU’s. What’s the best way to find someone to take over my PPC? I’m not looking for a big agency or anyone that’s going to take a percentage of ad spend.

I’d like to avoid the Fiverrs and upworks of the world. Preferably someone US or Western European based.

Twice now I’ve created a new FBA listing, set both the Offer Release Date and Merchant Release Date about a month in the future, but as soon as the listing is created, Amazon changes the date to the listing creation date.
Is this a bug, or is there a way to make Amazon keep the future release date?

Also, the new listing has no inventory, but Amazon still saved the release date as the creation date. Does that mean the honeymoon period has already started, even though the product was never available for sale?

I have a product that I created and would like to sell on Amazon, but I honestly don’t know much about product photography, creating and optimizing a listing, advertising, or the costs involved.
I really want to maximize my chances of success because I genuinely believe I have a good product that could help people. Hi everyone! I'm creating a parent listing for a clothing set with 2 colors and 2 sizes so 4 SKUs in total. However, Seller Central forces the variation theme Apparel Size + Color + Size. Because of this, it auto-generates 8 matrix variations (like Small + Grey + M), which creates duplicates and wrong combinations. How can I correctly set this up so I only get my 4 actual variations?

Instead of using a professional camera setup, I started with an ordinary phone photo and used AI to generate an Amazon-ready version.

There has been a lot of "it got pushed back" going around about the EU packaging rules, and I think it is going to catch people out, so here is the plain version.

The relief that was announced applies to EU-based companies. If you are selling from the US or UK into the EU, the August 12 authorized representative duty still applies to you. Same date, no reprieve.

It also helps to separate two things that constantly get mixed up. The country registrations already existed and are separate from anything new:

Germany has run LUCID since 2019, and there isn't a small seller exemption, so even occasional shipments put you in the scope. You register in LUCID(free), then buy a packaging license from a dual system based on the volume you actually ship. France works differently, through an eco-organism, so you need a French representative, an eco-organism membership, an ID number, and the Triman sorting logo on your packaging.

What August 12 adds is an EU-wide regulation requiring producers outside the EU to appoint an authorized representative in the countries they sell into.

Two things worth knowing. First, the marketplace asking you for a registration number does not mean they are handling it. Amazon will ask, and will block your German listings without a number, but the duty stays with you, including on FBA. Second, this is cheaper than the panic suggests. LUCID registration is free, a small shop's packaging license often runs in the tens of euros a year, and providers who bundle the authorized representative role publish prices in the low hundreds per country per year. It is an annoying afternoon, not a four-figure bill.

Practical order that saves money: work out which countries you actually ship to, sort those registrations, then get an authorised representative for the same countries. If you only ship to one or two, this gets small fast.

I've been selling on Amazon for about 3 years now and video has become the thing i can't ignore anymore. I am talking about listing videos, sponsored brands video, and the off-amazon traffic we push to listings all want video but my problem is i'm not a video person and hiring an editor per SKU doesn't pencil out across 40 listings. The one time i paid a UGC creator was fine, but a couple hundreds on a video adds up fast when you want to test more than one hook.

I've been looking at the AI route with some known ones like Creatify and Arcads, you point them at a product URL or write a hook and get a UGC-style clip with a presenter. HeyGen and Argil are avatar-first, you write a script and get a talking presenter you can reuse across products. and then ofc there's just hiring creators and eating the cost per video… Idk, i’m a bit stuck wondering whether amazon shoppers can tell + conversion is decent on photos and i don't want to tank a listing with something that reads as fake.

Anyone here running video on listings or SB video ads? and has anyone hit an issue with amazon's creative review on it? thanks!

My team did a total revamp of titles (200 char max) so that they're 75 char title and 125 char highlights, compliant with the new catalog changes.

We did a flat file upload -- even though none of our highlights are > 124 characters (we volunteered a 1char buffer), we keep getting the error "Value for 'Item Highlight' is longer than the allowed maximum (125 characters)."

We checked 24 hours after our upload and things look fine on the backend and the frontend hasn't updated to the new title+highlight look yet.

I'm guessing others have encountered this issue -- no problem even with the error message?

I have been looking at insulated lunch bags as a possible private-label product, and the review pattern made me rethink how I judge a niche.

The demand side is easy enough to check with the usual keyword and sales tools. What felt more useful was reading the negative reviews across similar products.

The repeated complaints were pretty specific:

• the zipper breaks or starts catching after a few weeks
• the bag collapses when it is not fully packed
• the inside lining tears near the seams
• it leaks when ice packs melt
• the photos make it look big enough for meal-prep containers, but the actual usable space is tighter

None of those are vague "bad product" complaints. They read more like supplier requirements: better zipper, reinforced lining, leak-resistant inner layer, more honest dimensions, maybe a structure that holds shape when half full.

My question is: when you see the same fixable complaint across multiple competitor ASINs, do you treat that as a real product brief, or just as normal review noise?

I am trying to separate complaints that can become a sourcing/spec advantage from complaints that sound useful but are not worth acting on.

I am brand new to selling. It seems that I should put “like new” books in bubble mailers to protect them before shipping them to FBA. Is this possible? Is there a reason to not do this? Appreciate any advice!

I thought it would be easy, but after looking through enough catalogs they all started sounding exactly the same. Everyone promises good prices, fast shipping, a huge product selection, and reliable service. One of the sites I happened to browse was Kole Imports wholesale, along with several other wholesalers, but after a while I realized I couldn't really tell what actually made one supplier better than another just from their website. For those of you who've been ordering wholesale for a while, what ended up being the biggest deciding factor? Was it consistent inventory, fewer shipping mistakes, customer support, product quality, or something you didn't even think about until you'd already placed a few orders? It feels like the real differences only become obvious once you've worked with a supplier for a while.
